Elegante apartamento de una habitación con puertas francesas, jardines en terrazas y vistas a la bahía de San Francisco y al monte. Tam. Disfrute de su viaje a Oakland en este entorno mediterráneo: ¡realmente sentirá que ha tenido unas vacaciones!

El espacio

Suite de lujo en Upper Rockridge con entrada privada, relajantes jardines y hermosas vistas de la bahía de San Francisco. Las puertas francesas se abren a una terraza privada con vistas. Tome su café de la mañana con vista a los jardines de varios niveles de estilo italiano con fuente, senderos y enrejados cargados de buganvillas.

El apartamento cuenta con una habitación con cama orgánica tamaño queen, mesitas, vestidor, baño con azulejos, sala de estar y cocina. Una cómoda cama plegable en la sala de estar tiene capacidad para 1-2 huéspedes adicionales (no más de 2 adultos en total, por favor).

Suministramos especias, aceite de oliva, vinagre, café molido, una variedad de tés herbales y cafeinados, junto con una cocina completa con ollas, sartenes, utensilios y vajilla.

Everything was just as advertised on the VRBO site. The kitchen had everything we needed including a complimentary bag of coffee. The closet had two big luggage racks for our suitcases. The patio and the backyard are beautiful. There are a number of stairs to get to the apartment, which could be difficult for older renters.

Lovely place to stay. Tucked into the hills it feels almost like the Mediterranean with the gardens just off the apartment. Kind hosts, very available if needed but felt like I had my own space.Very comfortable bed!!! Would rebook in a heartbeat.

Lovely Unit

The unit is clean and well equipped although it has a tiny kitchen. The bonus is the large outdoor garden with a view that makes this unit so special. We will definitely stay here again!

Oakland stay

The property was located at the bottom of a walkway with many steps. This was fine for us but if you had many heavy suitcases it might prove to be difficult. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots,pans, dishes and drink ware. Lighting in the bathroom was temperamental and the entry door was a little fussy. The grounds were beautiful and the host was attentive to our needs.

Lovely Setting

This cottage is clean, comfortable and also well equipped. The backyard is beautiful and unitque. Guests open french doors to a lovely setting. Hannah and Jordan were wonderful hosts. We'll definitely stay there again.

Really pleasant, private, and quiet

This is a very pleasant apartment. It's on a lower level below a larger house, but it's much more private and quiet than that description implies. The terraced gardens are beautiful, though we didn't take much advantage of them due to being busy and hitting a record (and unseasonable) heat wave with temperatures over 90°F every day. There is no A/C but with fans the place stayed reasonably comfortable for our 5 day visit. The host happened to meet us and helped with bags- otherwise they were completely unobtrusive. The apartment is down quite a few steps of both irregular flagstones and concrete, so it's not for those with mobility problems. But that isolation from the street makes it quiet and private. And this walkway to the apartment is beautifully landscaped and pleasant. It was a feature we liked. It is comfortably furnished, with a nice, low key decor and GREAT book selection on multiple bookshelves. The compact kitchen is well equipped and clean. There is a coffee grinder with a couple of coffee maker options, a hot water kettle, a dishwasher, and pretty much all you would need for basic meal preparation. We did enjoy walking some around the residential neighborhood and up to a lake/ park a mile or so away. It's street parking, but it wasn't really a problem, though I would not recommend coming here with a RV or truly huge vehicle- the streets are tight. This was our first Vrbo experience, and it was an extremely pleasant one.

This apartment on the lower level of the house has everything you need! Great communication with the hosts. It's a convenient location in the East Bay.

Relaxed and open

I had an extended stay here that was exceptional for my needs. The updated, quality space is relaxed with an open feeling featuring two sets of French doors overlooking the impressive, terraced garden. My two relaxation techniques are reading and cooking. There is an amazing collection of books to peruse and the kitchen was small but mighty. No wasted steps between counters as I made elaborate soups, quickly reheated meals and clean up was a snap. The bed has terrific support, the shower perfect water pressure and there’s amazing storage in both the walk-in closet (with built-in dresser) and bathroom’s spacious medicine cabinet. The hosts are present if needed, otherwise they let their guests be independent. Great local dining and activity suggestions are provided. On street parking is available, generally directly across the street. A car will likely be needed as this is a residential neighborhood, BART train station is about 2 miles away. As has been noted, there are quite a number of stairs to the doorway, so you will need to be able to navigate those with your luggage. I’d be back in an instant if needed and will recommend to others looking coming to the area.

Quiet, comfortable apartment

We stayed here while visiting family in Oakland and very much appreciated this apartment. It does indeed have a beautiful garden and lots of light. The description is quite accurate except that there is no hot tub. The owners are friendly and not intrusive. The apartment is well stocked and very pleasant, even in rainy weather. We will happily return!

Stay in the Oakland Hills

We really enjoyed our stay. The ADU was on the lowest level of the home, but still had a good view of the Bay, and we heard no noise from the hosts or their kids. We only ran into them as we were packing the car to leave, but then they helped bring my luggage up the stairs. I would definitely stay again when in the Oakland or Berkeley area. There is a nice well equipped small kitchen, a sitting area with TV that opens to a pleasant patio and a view of the backyard which spreads for two more levels. The bathroom and bedroom are as described. The queen sized bed was quite comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for charging things etc. The walk-in closet has a built-in dresser with three or four shelves. and room for hanging things. The first couple of nights were warm in the Bay area so we slept with doors and windows open, and used the supplied fans which made for fine sleeping. Like most homes in this part of the Bay Area there is no air conditioning because it is not usually needed. Things to know: if you have trouble with stairs know that the stairway down from the street is rather long and steep - it wasn't a problem for me and I'm 68; street parking is limited - since you are in the Oakland Hills the streets are narrow and windy - we always found parking very nearby, but it could take some maneuvering to get into the spot; and, the streets in the area are confusing - so study the map and try to arrive in the daylight :)

Delivers as pictured

This sublet rental is part of a beautiful home in the Rockridge Hills. The garden looks and feels like a garden in a Tuscan villa. The unit was very clean and well appointed in terms of household items for your every need away from home. The closet is a very generous size with plenty of hangers, drawers, suitcase stands etc. The bed is very comfy, kitchen is well stocked. (dishes, pans, glasses- more than enough of everything!) Freeway entrances are close by ( via car) . Very quiet neighborhood. I particularly liked that the unit smelled (and was) very clean, all the bedding, towels etc were not laundered with detergents that carried a harsh or strong smell of any kind. The owners were very response and available. As former Oakland residents on vacation, my husband and I found this rental to be everything we hoped and wanted it to be.

This apartment is in a hilly and safe area of Oakland. It is quiet and private feeling. The apartment opens directly on to a beautiful garden that feels very isolated. It is a great place for catching up on work or reading. It is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need for coffee/tea/cooking.

Beautiful apartment and location.

Apartment was very nice, it was quiet, the grounds were beautiful, and the location was excellent. Hosts were very responsive to the few questions I had. I would highly recommend staying here as long as you are fit enough to handle the many stairs going down to the apartment.
