Aloha Ilona — I’m sorry to hear that you did not share the 5-star experience that our guests who have stayed before and after you have, although I understand that no two experiences are alike and expectations vary. It is important to us that our units are clean and presentable for our guests, and the feedback you provided has helped our team to address these issues. Although the photos provided in the listing of this vacation property are accurate in reflecting the space and the furnishings in it, we would have been responsive to the issues you were experiencing, to ensure your stay was comfortable, if not pleasurable. Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, this property is not marketed or advertised as a “family favorite.” Toddlers or very young children should always be supervised, especially in unfamiliar properties. We will, however, review the cords and patio layout for any improvements that can be made. The lanai (patio) is standard for this building and consistent with other units in Waikiki. The furniture is placed for guest use and safety, and all doors are regularly serviced, though wear and tear can sometimes occur during a guest’s stay. As for supplies, we provide a starter set of essentials such as soap, trash bags, and dishwasher pods at check-in. For longer stays, guests are expected to replenish these items, though we did respond and arrange additional supplies upon request. We appreciate your comments and will continue to make upgrades where appropriate, but it’s important that future guests rely on the full range of reviews for an accurate view of the property.
