Great getaway

I took my 2 college kids to the beach for a quick get away after they finished this semester. The condo was very clean, easy to get to, and has great access to the beach. Easy to walk to the Gulf Shores State Park or to the Hangout and other restaurants. While there were a lot of people there during our stay, it was still very quiet and peaceful.

Small but nice

Very clean, kitchen is narrow but has plenty of cookware, coffee makers, blenders and dishes. Please bring coffee filters for coffee pot and also had 2 keurig type coffee makers too. Bedrooms and bathrooms we nice and both had TVs. It was perfect for 4 adults.

Great stay

Property was smaller than we normally stay in, but was perfect for who we had with us. Great location with plenty to do close by. Beach location was fantastic as you walk out right onto the beach. Kitchen worked for what we do and big table for eating. We were there for a softball tournament, so we really did not spend much time in the condo. We would definitely rent again no hesitation.

Don't come here

I've been coming to alabama for years! Your better off renting a pheonix condo, the shower head in the master bedroom wasn't working, the door to the washer and dryer was locked? And the security guard was rude, and very insistent on letting us know he wont hesitate to fine us $500 if we leave anything on the balconies, outside by the door, and all these other rules. The only person who was polite was the guy who came in to try and fix our shower head. The room by the balcony had multiple centipedes and worms coming from the walls. Worst Expierence.

Great beach location, needs some work

My family of 5 stayed here the week, location is right near lots of attractions and is on beach side. However, I incorrectly believed that “washer and dryer” listed in the property amenities details meant that we would be able to do laundry in the room. Laundry is only available via pay machines downstairs. Also our room had dead bugs in it and broken window shades. The pool is facing the parking lot instead of beach like most other condos in the area. The place was great to camp out in for a week but not what one would consider luxury by any means. The bathroom GCFI outlets were somehow wired together which seemed to be not up to proper building code and unsafe. Also dishes were dirty in the kitchen drawer. We will be back to the area but will look for a different property next time. There are only 2 elevators for the whole building and they are very slow so we took the stairs when coming and going.

I feel like everything in the condo needs to be updated. It felt depressing in there. Even a fresh coat of paint would have helped a little. Normally we aren’t in the room very much but this particular trip, it rained a lot. The dishes were dirty and we purchased plastic utensils in fear of eating on dirty dishes/silverware. We do a lot of cooking inside the room so with pans being less than clean, we went out most meals or had meals that didn’t require pans or dishes. The area below the balcony had garbage and looked bad. I just feel like overall, the condo needed to be updated with paint, newer pictures, linens, furniture, etc. the pictures appeared to be very faded and old. I just feel like there could be a lot more put into this, and it not costing a lot of money, for people to enjoy it more.

This property should not be in a rental pool until issues are addressed and the unit cleaned and certified to be mold free. The unit has a water leak in the wall that was previously reported issue by prior guests. AC/Heat vents have mold spores visible. Master dresser showed water stains on legs from leaks. We had to deal with loud fans and a dehumidifier that ran the entire time trying to dry the unit out. The dehumidifier was so loud you could not talk over it! Work crews in an out all week, holes cut in the wall with drywall dust all over. Wet floors and no offer to move us. Bed sheets for 2nd bed too short for bed, coffee maker needs to be descaled, unit was recently pained to make it seem fresh, but old and in need of renovation. We also question if the kitchen was remodeled without meeting fire code /permits as walking in the front door there is a counter obstructing the entrance and you have to squeeze by to get in and close the door. Stay away!

Very misleading listing.

To start off the location is great and the room was very clean. The property managers provided their numbers and were available if we needed anything. Beds were comfortable. This is an old condo and it looks like it has never been updated. The paint is peeling from the ceiling, it smells disgusting, and the furniture is awful. The paint is off most of the railing on the balcony and it’s rusted. The cookware needs to be replaced. We rented this specific condo because we thought it had a washer and dryer because there’s one on the pictures but it doesn’t have one. When I brought this to the property mangers attention she said she needed to take that pic off but it’s still there. I would expect all of these issues with a cheap rental but this was not cheap at all.

Awesome time

Our stay was amazing. VACASA was great to work with, hassle free and did a great job following up with us after checking in. The condo was very clean, with a great view. The only reason for not 5 stars is because the room could use just a little update, paint and lighting and possibly furniture. All in all the best stay we have had out of 8 times.

Place with potential

Great location, wonderful view of beach from condo and patio is great. Coming in the door is awkward it opens toward a kitchen counter so everyone must enter in the master bedroom to come in the condo. Definitely could use some updating. The bedding covers are old. There is the bare minimum in the kitchen for cooking. Unfortunately I would probably not stay in this condo again.

Great location, Clean, but bare bones

Clean, Great location, and walking distance to Sea & Suds, The Hang Out and downtown area, however don't expect much décor, (bare basics), had adequate kitchen needs. Pros: 2nd floor; Clean; Location; Beds & bedding were comfy; good hot water & pressure. Cons: Master toilet VERY low to ground (child size); front door entrance small and hard to maneuver through due to kitchen cabinets; No Smart TV's so no Netflex, Hulu, etc.

Just right for us!

We really wanted to be right on the beach and so this was so perfect! We had friends staying within walking distance and the proximity to the Sea & Suds was a perk! It was clean and suited our needs exactly. Thanks!

We will be back!

As soon as we got to our unit the immediate problem was no parking pass had been left in our room. This was stressfull because the security gaurd on duty insisted we had to have one immediately. I called Vacasa and was told they would reach out to the prop. mngr and get me a pass within 15 mins. It took over an hour, of which time my husband had to stand out in the parking lot with the car and keep security from towing us even though we showed him our rental confirmation and that we were scheduled guests. After an hour a less than enthusiastic Vacasa rep showed up and handed us a parking pass like it was a personal burden for her. After that the stay was great, we will be back to Gulf Shores and wouldn't have a problem renting here again just hope the passes are in the room as detailed when we purchased the trip.

Overpriced for what you receive.

Not well maintained. Everything was worn. Wind howels thru doors. 2 spoons, electrical outlets not working, pool in parking lot. For the same price you can get better. Do not recommend!!!

It was easy to contact you, it means more when I am able to talk with an actual person. It also makes me feel more secure about the reservation. I didn't have to stop and get a key, that was convenient. I did enjoy the reminders and texts that I received before, during and after. As far as the actual unit it was very nice but could use some updates and more beachy decorations.
