Great Condo

This was a great place to stay and closer to the Puma lift than expected. It was well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The views were nice too. It was comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out if needed.

Boys Trip

We stayed for a few nights celebrating a birthday with 4 guys. Incredible place, nice views of the mountains and lake. The proximity to the Poma lift was 100 yards away and that got us on/off the mountain daily, very easy. The walk into the main village was also quite easy 5 min walk, so we enjoyed that. The house was clean and warm ready for our arrival. With the pullout couch in the lower level, we had a room to ourselves as 4 guys. This could easily fit a lot more people though with 2 kings, 2x2 bunks, and the pullout couch. Hot tub was hot, clean, and ready. We honestly had a blast and the accommodations were great. Definitely recommend this place and we'd likely stay there again when we come back.

Bumpy check in / great house

The house was amazing, and as pictured, but our check-in process and communication with local management was terrible for the first few days. Upon arrival, we found that one of the bathrooms was not cleaned and there was dirty laundry on the floor. When we reported it, we were told the local management would be in touch. Following this, our children found a pill under the couch (googled it and it was nicotine pill) as well as cannibis candy in the kitchen. This wasn't a huge deal as we just threw it out, but if someone had mistakenly consumed it could have been bad. We followed up daily about the bathroom cleaning and what we found, and did not hear back from anyone from Saturday until Wednesday. The house was otherwise great, perfect location, everything else was clean, and Vacasa (which manages on top of VRBO) refunded the "hot tub fee" and the cleaning fee, but not the service fee. We were very happy with the house other than these factors, and would recommend the rental.

Space for the Whole Family

The Big Horn 18 was perfect for our family! We had our daughter and her husband's family to include two 5-year-olds and a 2-year-old, our other two adult daughters, and my husband and myself, and the place was roomy enough to accommodate us all. I was worried about getting 5-year-olds to the lift, but they learned to ride the poma that is very close by without a problem and it wasn't too hard to get to the base lifts after that. In the evening, we sledded on the same poma hill thanks to the sleds left in the garage! The kitchen was nicely laid out for cooking for the large group and the dishwasher worked awesome and was a godsend! The kids loved having the hot tub right there! The beds were comfortable and the numerous bathrooms were appreciated. I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness only because the grout in the bathrooms could use a good scrubbing and when we moved the couches to retrieve toys, etc. there were some interesting surprises under there! Otherwise, we found it to be clean. We are considering booking this place again next year.

All in all was a good trip, the bunk beds should be listed as "youth" not for adults The worst part about all of the was dealing with Vacasa, never again

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Closer and easier to walk to the base than we expected, and the Poma lift is just across the road. Would recommend.

We loved our stay at this condo. Fit our party of 5 adults, 5 kids perfectly. The condo was clean and kitchen was well-stocked. Although we would have preferred the hot tub to be outside, we opened the window and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the cold air circulating. There is a lift a short walking distance away, but it is a poma lift which was tricky for some of the snow boarders in our group. We ended up having to drive a couple of them to the main resort which was just up the street. The poma lift was no problem for the skiers. Otherwise, location was great! We even did a day trip to Yellowstone which was beautiful snow-covered. And Vacasa makes check in and check out so easy. Would book this condo again.

Nice home! nice view!

House was nice very spacious & has a beautiful view to the lake and mountains Id give it a 5 but theres was many spider webs around the inside if the house & the bed sheets was covered with dead bugs. Thankfully we were prepared with our own. Other then that nice location.

We believe what you were seeing on the sheet were little fuzz bunnies from the dryer; we have thoroughly cleaned the lint catcher to see if this will help get rid of those. Big Time at Big Sky

Very comfortable spot with easy access to the t-bar lift - Bear Back Poma. We had a rental car so the restaurants & stores at the Mountain Village were convenient for dinner and supplies after a long day of skiing. We definitely bookmarked this location for future stays.

Great location, great service from Vacasa, good property with a couple suggesstions

Great location, essentially ski in/ski out and a short 5 min walk to main village of Big Sky. Vacasa was super responsive when we experienced some minor issues (Wifi and coffee maker didn't work when we arrived and both were fixed quickly). Overall the interior of the property was modern, clean and comfortable, just as advertised. There were a couple of items that were not ideal for the price we paid. 1) we had problems with having enough hot water for showers for all 6 occupants. There are 4 showers in the unit and if more than 1 was running, no one got hot water. When just 1 shower was running, the hot water ran out very quickly. 2) The hot tub set up is flat out bizarre. It's inside so the unit had a very strong odor of chlorine, especially downstairs. When using the hot tub, water spills out everywhere and can get into the lower level bathroom and living area if you aren't careful, which isn't ideal. The mirrored glass surrounding the hot tub was also not very clean. I would recommend putting the hot tub on the outside deck and converting the room into a bedroom. Overall, we were pleased with our stay despite these issues. It was my first time booking with Vacasa and I would do it again. They were very pleasant to deal with during the booking experience and when we reported issues.

Please note that since the hot tub is located in the walk-out basement, it is suggested to close the doors to reduce the chlorine odor. Was a good stay!

The experience was good property was big and clean! Only thing is we had 8 people and 4 people took a shower and we ran out of hot water and had to take cold showers! Other than that 5 star rating

Perfect distance to everything in big sky!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The kitchen was ample in every way. We spent or evenings sitting by the beautiful fireplace. What a delight! We were able to walk the very short and flat distance to the restaurants and ski rentals at the base. We used the poma lift to ski in ski out anytime of the day. Overall a perfect stay. Will seek out this condo again!

Great Ski Vacation Home
