The host was communicative and made the check in/check out process smooth. The home was well stocked with what you will need to stay and be comfortable. There were small maintenance items like the icemaker not working and a stuck door, but other than that everything was good. We had fun playing the arcade games downstairs!

We had a great time at the place! It was very comfortable and accommodating. We did have a couple of things we think we should point out that could be better. The lack of light on the side of the house where the stairs were was a little rough. It made it hard to see in the evening. Second, the balcony rails were a little shaky. I think they may need to be secured a little better. Everything else was perfect!

Great house for families with tweens and younger

There are three bedrooms that sleep two adults very comfortably and one loft that sleeps 6 kids very comfortably. When we first got to the house, the kids found the gameroom/basement and we didn't see them for a while, except when one of them was hogging one of the games and wasn't taking turns. I even got in a short game of pacman. The pool table, foosball and arcade games were lots of fun. The kids also loved the hot tub. The paddle boards and Kayaks were awesome! We didn't have to rent them and there were enough for everyone to use. 2 adult paddleboards, 2 Kayaks, 3 smaller/kids Kayaks. They were used often. The dock was also great. Being able to rent jet ski's and a pontoon boat and bring them to the dock was huge. The house is not new, but it was perfect for what we were looking for. A place to hang with family, have fun and enjoy the lake. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely perfect lakefront getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Lake Anna home! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful waterfront setting and how well-equipped the property was for our large family. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and with its own private dock, we spent endless hours fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and soaking up the sunshine. The house itself is incredibly spacious, clean, and welcoming. The high ceilings and open layout made it feel luxurious, while still being cozy and family-friendly. The kids had an absolute blast in the loft, entertainment room, and outdoor play areas (tetherball and horseshoes were unexpected hits!). There was no shortage of things to do—between the arcade games, Ping-Pong, foosball, and board games, every night felt like a mini-vacation in itself. We especially loved gathering around the outdoor firepit for s’mores after a day on the lake. The large yard gave the kids plenty of space to run around, and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck or around the dining table with a great view of the water. This home truly has everything you could ask for in a lake getaway—fun, relaxation, and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Nice location

Location is great, even has a nearby boat slip to put in your own boat or receive a rental. House comfortably slept three couples with room for more in the bunk room upstairs. Dock, kayaks, water access, and game room were all perfect. House was clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use more organization and better “appointing.” Do not plan on this as a “work from home” stay. There is no cell service and the internet (Starlink) didn’t work.

Lovely house

Our family enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge & would stay there again. There were some things that needed repair but overall it was clean & fit our family needs. I had elderly family with me & the steps on the outside are very steep. My family found it easier to go into the basement & use the inside stairs to access the main floor. It’s a gentle slope down to the water & easy to navigate. The kitchen could use some additional supplies like mixing bowls & serving bowls. A plus was a dispenser with common spices. There were 2 kids kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards & an adult kayak. The house is located at the end of a cove & there was no boat traffic. Parking in the driveway was very tight & no room to turn a truck & boat trailer around. We had to back down the driveway that has several curves. The TV was difficult to get connected & hard for my elderly family to use because you have to stream. Overall we were pleased with our accommodations.

Came for the Lake Anna Jet Boat event. Perfect house to bring our boats down. Very quiet little dead end branch of lake. House very large and has whatever you need. Highly recommend it!

Plenty of room, so many activities

A great lot on a quiet part of the lake - our family loved using the kayaks and paddleboards, and there is a ton of room to explore with them before leaving the no-wake zone. The fire pit area is set up very well, with tons of firewood supplied. The hot tub was the cleanest we've seen in a rental in a long time. The kids loved all the different activities and games available and had a great time hanging out in the loft. Can't wait to visit again!

Great Area & Home. Would stay again!

Pictures were accurate to the listing, there was plenty of amenities, specifically games & activities, for the whole family to be entertained. The community was quiet and a good location to a variety of things in the area. The host & property management were very responsive and helpful when needed.

First Family Vacation

The property was great, happy that they had all the kayaks, paddleboards, game room. Comfortable furniture but we couldn't adjust the thermostat and it was cold. Check the pantry before buying any groceries. We should have got more from the Food Lion (10 minutes away) if we checked the pantry first. But with it being that close we just made a second trip. It's fantastic that you can bring your dog and there's a hot tub. It's a quiet area and great for relaxing in a chair by the water. There are a good number of stairs in the unit and a steep hill to get to the dock but it wasn't bad overall.

Nice place

Nice vacation home. Swimming was okay in this area. Alot of mud and seaweed .. Kayaks, and paddle boards we alot of fun.. we brought tubes,And floated. Our neighbors in the blue house who were on vacation were great. Just bring extra paper towels and toilet paper. Also alot of ants on the kitchen counter,so bring spray and dont keep food on there. Other than that,great place.

Perfect Lake Get Away Spot!

We absolutely loved our time at Liberty Lodge! This location is fabulous with safe swimming space right off of a private dock with stairs into the lake :) There were TONS of amenities including kayaks, paddle boats, and stand up paddle boards on the lake AND arcade games, pool, ping-pong, hot tub, and deck swings at the house. So many ways to have fun and relax! There was also an awesome upper deck with Pollywood furniture and the most comfortable egg chair ever. We loved the open concept of the main living level and the loft provided a fantastic space for the kids. Definitely will stay again and can't wait for the next visit!

Nice property and nice location, could use updating

The property and amenities were nice for our family. Unfortunately some updates are badly needed. The kitchen needs work. Fortunately if spending most of your time outdoors it won’t completely ruin your experience. If anyone is staying on the 3rd floor (we had 4 kids up there) you will HEAR EVERYTHING. Every step, every movement was extremely loud on 2nd floor. We also had issues with the plumbing, but hopefully those were quick fixes when we left. Could be an amazing property, but right now it was just ok.

Great place to stay and play

This was an adorable log cabin place, in a great location, and filled with amenities to keep people entertained. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit which was used at night and the lovely back porch & rocking chairs used in the morning. We did not feel that the place was super clean, the floors were dirty and dishes/utensils were also dirty and unorganized, we found old food in the refrigerator and inside an ottoman. We had to run out several times for extra amenities as the paper products left were of terrible quality and there wasn't any counter cleansers. There was also a plumbing issue upon our arrival, a key pad that didn't work, a key lock box that is broken, bedroom shades that had to be rigged to stay closed, and no working batteries in remotes. Besides those hassles, the place itself is a great quiet & fun for a family get-away.

Cabin on the lake vibe

We stayed the 1st weekend in February. Does the home need upgrading? Depends on who is giving the review I suppose. I rented the house for my friend's birthday. She wanted a cabin and I wanted a lake view so this house was the closest to accommodate both our wants. It has a rustic vibe which we love. I didn't want a fancy bathroom and kitchen because again we were looking for a cabin style home. The beds in the bedrooms were super comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. From my understanding the bunk beds were not the most comfortable but the layout in the loft was fantastic that can accommodate at least 6 people. The loft has it's own bathroom which was a plus. The only down side to the loft is whomever is sleeping up there won't sleep in, there is a ton of sunlight in the morning coming through the back of the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room in the basement, great set up there as well. The back yard was great, we played corn hole and enjoyed the fire pit. The neighbors right beside us didn't seem to like renters at the house, well they just didn't seem to want a conversation when we said hello but other than that it was a great place to stay. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Relax by the lake

This luxurious cabin has all you need for a great vacation including comfortable furniture, dreamy beds, games galore, and a hot tub to boot. The view was as awesome as our stay. Very clean as well.

It's alright

Great Lake House for a Family and the Family Dog

I loved the long secluded driveway to the house. There are houses on either side of this house, but they are positioned in a way that it doesn’t feel intrusive. Plus all of the trees help. The front and back yards are huge and there is room to really spread out. The staircase leading to the home entrance doesn’t have a great aesthetic and neither do the doors, but once you’re inside, the ceilings of this cabin are breathtaking. I read a complaint in a previous review about the furniture on the main level needing updating and it seems like the owners listened, because it looks great and is very cozy. The kitchen definitely needs some attention with stocking. Not enough flatware and other things for the number of people that this house sleeps. We had to buy disposable. This is a rental, so I understand not updating the kitchen and the bathrooms, but I would’ve given this house a 5 if they were updated. We had some issues with the oven. Twice it gave an error code and constant beeping while baking and had to turn the power to it off. It worked the next day both times. Had a leaky tub and Vacasa came out the next day to repair. The basement is amazing!! My adult kids loved it! So much for them to do and lots of privacy. The loft is such a positive in this house. Not only is it cute, but sleeps many. The dock didn’t have a great sunning area and the boat on the lift blocked the pretty view when sitting on the pier to sun. However, we were there every day, all day and enjoyed it immensely. Lots of fish to catch. We had to clean out the pedal boats as they were filled with yuck, just to find one didn’t have the steering mechanism. However, we loved the kayaks and the paddle boards. Sitting on the deck each morning with my coffee was a highlight, as the view is beautiful. Make sure you take a 10 min walk to the common area each evening to watch the sun set. It is simply breathtaking and I did it several evenings. Great pics!! The wifi wasn’t the best, but it still worked well enough for a couple of us to work virtually a couple of days during the week. We also streamed without issue. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times, but I feel this is probably a great amenity when it’s not 80 degrees. This house has a true lake house vibe and totally met our needs. I would truly recommend.

Fun Times at the lake

The house was clean and the kitchen had everything you need for a good time. The hot tub was great and the game room was super fun and entertained the kids and adults a lot when it was rainy. The dock was fun amd we fished off of it a lot. and having the kayaks and paddle boats available was a good time and was a big highlight for the kids. Overall it was a good time with lots to do and everything you need to enjoy a stay at the lake.

Nice house

Nice rooms, plenty beds, clean. Jacuzzi, fire pit. Needs a bit more attention to update the furniture in the common areas. Main entrance is hard for old people and a handicap person. Great for vacation
