¡Bienvenido a nuestro Retiro Plumbar Creek! Esta casa única, construida en 2014, es una cabaña moderna con hermosas vistas en todas las direcciones de Mariposa y Midpines. La casa tiene una sala de estar / cocina abierta con estufa de leña, y tres habitaciones extra grandes, cada una con baño y 1/2 baño en la sala de estar. El espacio de vida al aire libre incluye 300 pies cuadrados. Porche cubierto, un 400 SqFt. cubierta y 500 pies cuadrados. Patio trasero cubierto con asientos. La entrada de Arch Rock a Yosemite está a menos de 30 millas al noreste, y el centro histórico de Mariposa está a menos de 10 minutos al suroeste. Estamos ubicados exactamente a una milla por Buckingham Mountain Road, un camino de tierra y grava de Triangle Rd muy cerca de la autopista 140.

Fantastic cabin

By far this has been our favorite Vrbo stay. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It felt like we were staying at a friends house with the games, dish TV, and excellent communication from Dave. Would 110% stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The Best Mountain Retreat Around!

The location of this gorgeous home is peaceful, private, and quiet, yet you're only 10 minutes from Mariposa with its restaurants, grocery, and points of interest (check out the Mariposa Museum!). Absolutely stunning views in all directions, immaculately clean, and the decor is just lovely. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need for dinners at the house and picnics for adventures. The living/dining area is just perfect for relaxing. Each bedroom features super comfy beds and its own spa-like bathroom. There is plenty of storage space and Dave has provided many thoughtful items including toiletries and paper products. Laundry facilities were great to have. Awesome extras include games and tons of outdoor seating. Amazing night skies! Throughout the process, Dave was a pleasure to work with, promptly answering any questions we had and providing clear information about the property. We spent 4 full days visiting Yosemite from the house. It was a beautiful drive to the Arch Rock entrance (just under an hour and the most mild route into YNP) and we were delighted to return after long days in the park. I only wish we'd stayed longer. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again. We had a wonderful family vacation at this home. Thank you for your hospitality, Dave!! : )

Great family vacation!

My family and I were incredibly pleased with this house! The layout was perfect to give everyone their own private space when necessary but the open concept helped us feel together and connected also. Beds were comfortable. Showers were decent. Could have used a few more kitchen tools and covers for food storage but that was minor. Beautiful views and directions to get there were very clear. We’d definitely come back!

Peaceful and beautiful respite for Yosemite stay

Dave’s place was great. Although it’s a 45-minute drive to and from the Yosemite entrance, the views and comfort of the home made it worth it for us. Even in the intense heat, the deep porches were lovely spots to sit and watch the birds and listen to nature. The stars at night were amazing! The home is nicely stocked as well with quality linens and towels. The upstairs master had the most comfy bed imo, but it was so nice for everyone to have their own bathroom. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Very nice house!

My family and I enjoyed this home, it was spacious and clean, had nice facilities and everything we needed. I will say the road out to the home is rough. It is literally up a mountain with dusty dirt roads. I do believe the lister tells you this in the listing description but I was taken aback somewhat as to the desolate location. But again, the house was what we needed and was very nice. Thanks!

Bathroom for every bedroom!

This is a lovely home in the mountains of Mariposa. Road was a bit rough but passable. Kitchen could use an upgrade to pans and utensils but functional. Bedrooms were very comfortable and each room had its own bathroom which was wonderful. The living room was really comfy. It's a solid 45 minute drive to Yosemite in the off season so expect a bit longer in high season. We really enjoyed this location and it was great to know that we had a comfy place to come home to after each day of hiking in Yosemite. Kids enjoyed the foosball and shuffle board. I enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds at the honeysuckle outside the kitchen window. Thanks for a great stay

Yosemite getaway

We were visiting from Pennsylvania and did not know where to stay. We found this property and was pleasantly surprised. It was away on its own at the top of hill. Great view! Quite The house was very comfortable. The host responded quickly to a couple questions. No problems. It was about 45 mins to get to Yosemite around the Yosemite Valley area. Would recommend this place to others.

Great Secluded Gateway to Yosemite

While you may he able to find a more luxurious accommodation, our family absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was well stocked, secluded and a perfect basecamp for visiting Yosemite. A few minor issues here and there (clogged shower heads) but overall clean, open and welcoming. Dave was great about communicating and even though the location was more remote, it was easy enough to find.

My new favourite place to stay for Yosemite trips

Dave’s place is lovely! It’s really well maintained, exactly as shown in the photos, in fact, the place is even better, I would argue. It’s a short 10 mins drive away from Mariposa market. Mariposa is a quaint little town with surprisingly fun night life. As for this place, it’s situation on a hill top, easy access - quiet and pristine. Definitely coming back!

Perfect getaway.

Comfortable, secluded property. Well equipped. Close to town. Close to Yosemite and Sequoia. We had a great 3 days there. Instructions were clear. We knew exactly what was expected of us. Check-in and check-out easy. Owner was very helpful and available if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming cabin with beautiful views

Charming cabin located on a private property offering beautiful panoramic views and peaceful background setting. The home is very clean and fully equipped including a BBQ grill in the back where you can enjoy your dinner or sit out to watch the stars at night and each room were spacious. You can also enjoy the sunrise with your cup of coffee as you sit in the front porch. My family enjoyed our stay at the Plumbar Creek! The owner is super nice, very accommodating and is very communicative also. We would love to come back again. Thank you.

Great spot, easy drive to Yosemite

This house was as listed. Very secluded area with incredible views of the stars at night. Only takes about 45-50 minutes to get to the gate of Yosemite Valley. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Escape for Adventure

We really enjoyed this gret property that is within 10 minutes of Mariposa and about 45 from Yosemite. The three bedrooms and 4 baths were comfortable and well appointed. The large front and back porches allowed relaxed enjoyment of the surrounding hills in almost 365 degrees. The owner was very helpful in providing advice on the area.

What we expected and close enough to Yosemite to drive. Quiet house and Dave was very responsive. Location is good, just know it’s on a dirt/gravel road. Overall great experience!

Local small business owner with three boys. I love this area. Yosemite, obviously, is a huge draw. However, Mariposa is a such a great small town with great restaurants and bars. The downtown area is historic and fun!

Mariposa is a great historical town with several great restaurants and bars. The town supervisors have done a great job keeping the town small and cute with an undeniable historical flair. The area provides lots of elevation and topography options with homes located from 2,000 to 5,000 feet elevation. This home is at 3,000 feet which is perfect for weather. Snow typically less than a foot and it typically doesn't stick around more than a day.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is a highly efficient and comfortable house with a powerful forced air unit, energy efficient walls and windows and great water pressure. It's on a great 450' well that has great water and a powerful pump. On top of that, we have reverse osmosis water that is filtered before coming in the house, then triple filtered. We also have solar panels for energy efficiency! This is a great house for relaxing with family and friends while visiting Yosemite National Park!

The home is very private with distant views in all directions. I guarantee you will love this place. The house is cozy yet has extra large rooms and an open kitchen / living area. TVs are connected to the internet for Netflix, YouTube, Amazon. All TVs are smart TVs. The wood stove is optional, but a romantic option. The home gets super-warm in no time with either the forced air unit or the wood stove.
