Hermosa cabaña en Spring Mountain Ranch. Se sienta en aproximadamente 1/2 acre arbolada, con un pozo de fuego. A pie de golf, tiendas, restaurantes, piscina del barrio privado, tenis y un centro de entrenamiento.

Perfecto para reunirse con la familia. Loved our stay!

We loved our stay here. The house was spacious, clean and beautiful! We had great communication with the owner. We made such great family memories with our kids and grandkids! We will definitely stay here again!

Great house, difficult host

The house was as advertised and was a great place to stay. However, dealing with the host was extremely difficult and frustrating. He was on the verge of having his account suspended by VRBO and threw me, the guest, right in the middle of it. He essentially held our reservation hostage while negotiating his suspension with VRBO and refused to cancel the reservation or commit to letting us stay. This left us in limbo until literally two days before our stay. He was very entitled and took a very 'not my problem' attitude to the whole situation that was very much his fault.

Always great to stay at the Drake Lodge while in McCall. Easy access to town and never any issues with the home or the owner. Juston is easy to talk to for any questions or suggetions as needed. This is our third time staying here over the years and always a memorable experience for everyone!

Best possible outcome

This was my first experience with renting someone's home. I started out nervous. When we arrived the home smelled and looked amazing. The floor plan was perfect with the option for main level master m or an upstairs one. The bunk room available for kids made everyone feel excited about the stay. We working A/C, and as we stayed in July ~this was much needed. The home had ample room for the grown ups to have a living room available with a room still available for kids! Communication with the Host was wonderful. Our experience was wonderful! Host was fair and very accommodating! I look forward to retuning to McCall and I would highly recommend this home/host. With a family reunion and a total of 4 home rentals, we were the only ones without any issue, Love this home!!

Excellent rental

Excellent rental at a fair price. Had a family reunion with 11 attending. Size of the house was just right for meals and general gathering. Great location, and use of the community facility and swimming pool was a major plus. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Amazing home, super spacious and cozy!

We had a blast! Definitely want to stay here again. Home is massive, with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and closets everywhere. Huge 3 car garage, grill, hot tub, this house has it all. Had lots of room in the driveway to park our boat. Juston was super friendly and down to earth, quick to respond.

Fantastic space for several people

This was the perfect space for us to stay while in McCall for my niece's wedding. The main floor master suite was nice for my 86 year old parents. We had three out of our four siblings, along with our parents, staying together under one roof! Invaluable! Plenty of room for all.

McCall fun family weekend

Juston (owner) was easy to communicate and work with. The house is beautiful-great size and worked well for our family of 3 couples and 4 grandchildren. Beautiful location. Would rent again in future if the opportunity comes up.

Scenic Location, But Beware of Maintenance & Communication Issues

This home boasts a picturesque location and ample space, ideal for group gatherings. We particularly enjoyed the bonus room upstairs for game nights. However, our experience was marred by property maintenance issues and problematic communication with the owner. Signs of water damage are evident on the ceilings and walls. Some outdoor benches and patio chairs are deteriorating, limiting seating options. The hot tub's overchlorination was a concern, and its water was unclean. We found dirty laundry and towels left inside. Alarmingly, a bunk bed collapsed during our stay. The owner's response lacked understanding and felt accusatory. Engaging with the owner presented challenges. He insisted on a separate rental agreement from VRBO, causing confusion and potential check-in delays. He was on the property longer than expected upon our arrival, and we were not provided keys for security. His interactions felt distrustful, aligning with previous reviews we'd read. It's evident he resides in the house between rentals, and personal items remain. There is still an expectation that guests clean linens despite a cleaning fee on the rental. There is also a damage deposit that I suspect won't be returned due to the state of the house itself. For small groups planning a brief stay in McCall, this location may suffice. However, for larger groups seeking a relaxing retreat, the property issues and the owner's demeanor might detract from the experience.

Beautiful house!

Highly recommend. The house is beautiful, stocked with everything and anything you could imagine needing, very clean, it’s close to the lake and shopping. Beautiful scenery, quiet location. Communication was a 10 out of 10. We hope to definitely come back one day. Rent this house if you can!!

Great Accommodations

We truly enjoyed the place. Very spacious. Lots of sleeping choices. It was close to golf, town, and a walking path. Liked it SO much we booked for next year. The only issue we had was finding it. It’s difficult to see the number on the house because it’s behind trees.

Great property!

Very nice home. Two master suites - one on the main level and one upstairs was an added bonus. There are two other bedrooms upstairs besides the master. One with a queen bed and the other has multiple beds in it. There is also a bonus room upstairs with couches. The home was very clean and had many amenities. Wifi is spotty. We could not get any stations on the T.V., but that may have been our fault.

Lovely property

Everything was in order, and clean. The layout of the house was perfect for our 6 person reunion. It’s quiet and situated nicely even though it’s more of a city neighborhood. We would stay again! The only downside is the requirement to launder towels and get them dried. That in and of it’s self isn’t a big deal but getting everyone showered packed and the towels in the washer by 9:00, with a larger group can be challenging.

Visit for a Family wedding

Justin’s property was perfect for the family as our niece was getting married. The house was close to town but yet has a nice quiet atmosphere.

Stay away!

Prior to our arrival but after payment the owner sent us an additional contract that differed significantly from the contract we had already signed through VRBO. This contact occurred through my personal email outside VRBO. He then withheld the door code until we sent him a copy of our drivers license, signed the additional contract, gave him personal addresses and contact information and called him directly. On calling we were informed that we would not have access to the fireplace. On arrival the home was not clean, the garbage cans were full, there were balloons, and toilet paper rolls on the ground. Following our stay the owner continued texting us. When I reported this to VRBO he proceeded to attempt to send us additional charges of greater than $150 because the towels in the dryer were not dry enough.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We custom built this property to accommodate multiple families while vacationing. The spacious bonus/movie room upstairs entertains the kids, while downstairs the adults relax with a cup of Hot chocolate next to the cozy rock fireplace. Or, enjoy listening to the crackle of the outdoor fire pit while roasting marshmallows for smores. Very few places here in McCall exhibit the warmth that the Drake Lodge does for its guest. Come and experience it for yourselves!!
