Cassis

Great stay - apt is wonderful, well stocked kitchen, great shower, laundry, tv room, the view is superb, and very short walk to the harbour. It was also quiet, good sleeps. Great place!

Beautiful Apartment

Our place in Cassis exceeded our expectations. Katya's guidebook provided us with ideas for eating. Check in was a very easy process as well as checkout. If in Cassis again, we will stay here.

A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

We had a great stay in Cassis at this fabulous apartment. The view is just incredible and the apartment itself is very spacious and well equipped. It’s also perfectly located within a couple of minutes walk from all the of the best restaurants and also very close to Bestouan beach and the start of the trails to the Calanques. Highly recommended if you’re looking at staying in Cassis!

Awesome view

The apartment was well appointed and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The AC was a most welcome perk given the 90° days. The parking on site was also a plus, as parking is hard to come by and expensive in Cassis. Lovely stay, we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Stay

The apartment was as darling and nice as pictured. The view of the harbor and the Cap Canaille were even more stunning than pictured! In fact, we enjoyed most of our dinners on the deck enjoying the gorgeous sunsets. Katya was great at answering all of our questions in advance of our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely unit.

Well looked after and well stocked , large one bedroom unit. Excellent location close to ocean with a great balcony view. Katya and Candy were great to work with. One of the highlights of our trip to France this year.

A Fabulous View

The apartment is every but as good as the photos if not better. A great deal of effort has made a very stylish comfortable apartment with everything you need for a great break. The view is amazing. A short walk to numerous restaurants. The information booklet is very comprehensive in English and French. I highly recommend Sea View.

Gorgeous!!!

Our 1-week stay was absolutely fabulous! The flat was spacious, light filled, clean the views to the port and sea from the windows and terrace were breathtaking. I could sit for hours on that terrace. The port area, shops, restaurants and sea were within 5-10 minutes walk. Cassis is beautiful. We very much hope to return next year.

Absolutely Perfect

We stayed in this apartment three years ago and loved it. Our return visit was just as positive as the first time. The apartment is as shown in the pictures. The location is convenient to every place in town. The view is wonderful. Additionally, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has one of the better showers in all of France, and the living area is spacious and comfortable. We hope to have the chance to return one day.

Superb apartment in perfect location.

Beautiful apartment in quiet location within easy walk to the harbour and amazing views from the balcony. The apartment is one of the best we have stayed in anywhere. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped with modern kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable with everything you need including aircon and excellent information pack. We did not come by car but for those interested the apartment is in a secure gated development with ample parking.

Perfect location in Cassis (2min walk from center village) with magnificent view on the harbor and the bay. Appartment recently renewed with good taste, very well equipped and with confortable beddings. The host is extremely nice, reactive and flexible.

Just perfect!

A beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean apartment in a great location within Cassis. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great restaurants, small independent shops as well as the beach and the port. The large balcony with a wonderful view was a perfect place for breakfast and sundowners. Fully equipped kitchen and furnishings of a high standard. Great shower, Nespresso machine, TV, internet, fluffy towels - the owner has thought of everything. We’d highly recommend this apartment to others.

Excellent!!

The apartment is very nice and well equipped (good WIFI) incl a smart TV allowing to apply one’s own streaming portals. The location is perfect. Sea view, quiet, 5-minute walk to the port with restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. 10-minute walk to the nice beach Plage du Bestouan. On top, the apartment is a located in a spacious gated community with distance to neighbors and comfortable parking. Last but not least, very friendly and actively communicating owners (thank you, Katja and Patrick) and pleasant and helpful service on site (thank you, Candy!)

Very nice stay at Cassis

The apartment is very tastefully, comfortably and individually furnished and offers everything you need. We felt very comfortable during the eight days. The consierge Candy explained everything that was necessary to us in great detail when we arrived. The extensive tips on excursions, restaurants, etc. in the prepared folder were also very helpful. Our hosts were very interested in making us feel comfortable. Their offer to contact them at any time in the event of problems was not necessary due to the beautiful apartment and the good organization.

This beautiful apartment was absolutely perfect for our visit to Cassis and nearby Marseille. We enjoyed the short daily walks to the harbour and main beach, as well as many local restaurants and shops; we also appreciated that we could walk to the starting point for many hikes in the Calanques National Park, instead of having to drive and find parking. Communication with the hosts was very easy and straightforward; the check-in and check-out process went very smoothly and the hosts/staff truly went above and beyond to welcome us to their apartment and to Cassis. We found the apartment very spacious, well stocked, and extremely clean. We really appreciated that the hosts took the time to put together an information booklet about the city, which includes a map that helped us locate some of the stores/shops around town as well as restaurant recommendations (Casa Roma Pizza Al Taglio was delicious!) We also appreciated having dedicated parking for our rental car and the added bonus of having a washing machine in the apartment. The highlight of our stay was sipping and eating out on terrace, enjoying the view every chance we could. We would not hesitate to stay in the apartment again should we ever get the opportunity to visit Cassis again.

Absolutely Perfect

The photos of the apartment do not do justice to the accommodation. The view from the terrace is awe inspiring. We spent hours watching the way the light constantly changed the sea and the cliffs.. The apartments is beautifully decorated and maintained. The kitchen is one of the best outfitted we have seen. The knives are even sharp which is a rare occurrence in most rentals. Access to the port, buses, hiking trails is just out the door. We would move in tomorrow if we could. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Enjoyed the sunny and spacious apartment

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean, big and nicely decorated. It offered a great view over the port and the sea. The city centre is less than10 min walking distance. The big, sunny terrace is a plus. The owners are very nice and even brought some extra sheets when one of us had to relocate to the sleeping couch due to illness. The only points of criticism are that it took us some time to figure out how to set up the heaters so that it gets warm enough. A manual for the different heaters might come in handy. We also struggled with the dishwasher. We tried all the settings, but the dishes never got entirely clean, so we did them by hand in the end. Otherwise a pleasant experience!

ABCD - absolutely brilliant Cassis dwelling!

Following three days in Aix we picked up a hire car in Marseille and headed to Cassis for a week. Communication in advance of arrival was great and we were greeted promptly as agreed and shown where to park and then into the property. The apartment is large, comfortable, superbly equipped and has a great arty/academic/boho feel to it, all of which would give it a five star rating. The balcony and the view from it dial that up even further. Barring a slightly feeble AC unit there is literally nothing to fault. Handily placed to walk into the port, old town and beaches yet still private and quiet. We were able to visit Toulon, Arles, Avignon and Marseille but the twin highlights were the Calanque boat trip and the drive over the Route des Crêtes to La Ciotat and back. Cassis is very French and all the better for that. You couldn’t stay anywhere better without booking in to the 5-star hotel around the corner at significantly increased cost. Merci beaucoup. A bientot.

Best rental in 20 years

Truly, look no further for your vacation rental in Cassis. This apartment is amazing. Bed is very comfortable (American queen-sized), shower is wonderful, kitchen is stocked beyond belief, I LOVED the floors! All high-end tile and clean clean clean. Decor is perfection. The only item we would have liked would be a french press/cafetiere as qe use one every day at home but we used the drip coffee no problem. There is oil, balsamic, seasonings - so much. And then there's the 30-ft balcony looking over Cassis. I mean, REALLY. I measured 30x30 for the whole apt so it's roomy. The couch is a queen bed and the 'lounge' section is a single. The walk down to the front and all the restaurants is exactly 2.5 minutes. The madame who let us in was "Candy" and she was EXCELLENT. She was on time in meeting us and on time for checking us out. Really, best rental (out of maybe 50-60) EVER. Dine at La Vielle Auberge (family-run), Poisson Rouge and La Nonna d'Oro. All great. La Poissonerie had a Nasty woman running it (blue awning). Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, die genau der Beschreibung entspricht. Entfernung zum Ortskern in ein paar Gehminuten. Gutes Bett, gut ausgestattete Küche. Viel Platz für 2. Strand in 400 m, wir konnten im Oktober noch schwimmen, Wasser angenehm, Strand und Ort nur mäßig voll. Candy ist sehr liebenswert und hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Gar nichts zu bemängeln! Cassis ist traumhaft.
