This cosy 5-star chalet for 14 guests (13 adults) is in a great location for groups who want to get out and about, but also appreciate having all the facilities of a village on their doorstep. 

Situated in the village of St Jean de Sixt, with stunning views over the mountains, Chalet Elomaz is halfway between the Alpine resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, giving you easy access to the whole of the Aravis ski area - 220km of varied slopes. Both ski stations are just five minutes drive away, but if you'd rather take the ski bus, it stops just 250m from your door.

Families will feel perfectly at home at the spacious Chalet Elomaz: parents will enjoy the indoor pool and relaxing in the sauna, while children will love the large garden, on the edge of the forest, with a slope which makes a great sledge run in the winter!

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note that Chalet Elomaz is situated above the main road to La Clusaz where traffic in high season can generate noise (please check the map on the website). There is a Tassimo coffee machine at the property.The barbecue is available during the summer season only. The indoor pool has two water depths: 140cm and 30cm Note : parties are not allowed at the chalet.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

A Friendly Spot Perfect for Active Families

Great house, close to town, lots of stuff to amuse the kids. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, with lots of spices and other necessities. We also had a lot of fun with the pool and the foosball. The common areas were nice, and there was a good view from the deck. Easy walking access to hiking trails, grocery store, and two bakeries. The only downside of the place is its proximity to the busy street and subsequent noise, but I got used to it quickly and it didn’t bother me after the first night.

A very nice and functional chalet, close to shops and ski slopes. Please note that the chalet is located near the main road, which is not a problem during the winter season as you will be inside. However, you should be aware of this if you are spending your summer holiday here.

Un séjour familial exceptionnel. Un chalet extrêmement bien situé, à proximité des stations de ski (par ailleurs très bien desservi avec la navette qui passe juste en bas du chalet), avec également toutes les commodités nécessaires à Saint Jean de Sixt (boulangerie, supermarché, location d’équipements de ski, fromager, etc). Le seul bémol, qui était néanmoins mentionné dans l’annonce, concerne la route en contre bas du chalet, très passante et qui peut perturber notamment la nuit. Le chalet propose des équipements d’exception (sauna et piscine), il est très bien conçu pour que chacun trouve sa place (chambres à différents endroits de la maison avec salles de bain, pièce de vie centrale). L’hôte Lionel est disponible, bonne communication et il a été de bons conseils à l’arrivée.

Un séjour familial réussi à La Clusaz

Bonjour, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet. La station de La Clusaz est superbe, avec beaucoup d’animations pour toute la famille. Le point fort est la piscine intérieure, très appréciable car il pleuvait souvent en fin d’après-midi. Nous remercions Lionel de nous avoir remis les clés deux heures en avance.

Superbe chalet idéal pour un séjour en groupe

Très beau chalet avec d’excellentes prestations : piscine (un peu fraîche pour les tout-petits), sauna, et suffisamment d’espace pour que chacun puisse s’isoler s’il le souhaite. Le seul point négatif, mais peu gênant en hiver, est le bruit de la route en contrebas. L’accès aux pistes est assez simple avec les navettes, bien que cela prenne un peu de temps. Lionel et Ovonetwork ont toujours été très réactifs. Je recommande ce chalet sans hésitation, il est parfait pour un séjour en tribu !

Chalet idéal pour des moments conviviaux et reposants

Chalet bien agencé permettant d’être tous ensemble ou bien de s’isoler. Il y a de la place pour tout le monde. Une jolie petite pente juste devant le chalet permet de faire de la luge. À proximité de La Clusaz pour ceux qui veulent skier. Ce chalet a tout pour plaire, sans oublier le propriétaire qui a toujours été disponible et réactif en cas de petit souci. Pour nous, c’était la température de la piscine, qui a été augmentée à notre demande. Nous voulions réserver pour l’année prochaine, mais malheureusement notre période était déjà complète. Peut-être une autre fois...

Un séjour idéal !

Le chalet Elomaz est parfait, très bien équipé avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour idéal. Chambres spacieuses, grand salon, piscine et sauna au top, extérieur très bien avec plusieurs terrasses et terrain de pétanque. Nous étions 11 et le chalet peut accueillir encore plus de voyageurs !

Chalet à proximité du village, donc proche de nombreux commerces a pied, mais néanmoins isolé pour ne pas avoir la foule. Le chalet est très beau, c’est un cocoon, on se sent bien et il est très bien équipé. Nous recommandons cette location.

A beautiful chalet in the Alps, well equipped and comfortable bedrooms and amenities. Sheltered area outside for evenings and alfresco dining. Great location to get to grand Bornand, La Clusaz, Lake Annecy and in particular Sevrier Beach. Lionel was a great host with prompt replies to any questions. He was kind to let us roll over our reservation twice due to Covid and restrictions. Thank you for a wonderful week away.
