A wonderful find
It was a great opportunity to stay in a beautiful house in a picturesque town for a week. Our family group comprised two parents and six adult ‘children’ (19-26 years old). The town had so much going on that we were all very happy mooching around locally. The children played tennis and basketball locally each day and we swam in different local beaches daily too. Our favourite was la plage de la Pissote, but the Grande Plage, Pen Guen beach and a tiny cove right near the house were also beautiful and enjoyed! We had a very happy morning in the market on Monday and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of stalls selling not only fruit and veg, but cheeses, hot meats, souvenirs, clothing and homewares too.We loved exploring the chateau du Guildo one warm evening and we had the entire place to ourselves.Day trips to Dinard, Mont St Michel and St Malo were easy and very enjoyable too.The house is in a great location. It’s so lovely to be able to walk to boulangeries, restaurants, shops and the gorgeous beaches without needing a car.The swimming pool at the house was also a great addition to a very well-equipped house.Thank you for a lovely week. None of us was ready to leave! There was so much more we hadn’t yet had time to do and we all said we wished we had booked a fortnight.
