Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in this condo twice, so knew what to expect. Interior is dated, but we're not in the condo much. Location is great, can see the beach and pool is below you, so can keep an eye on the kids. Place was more buggier than before, but they had bug traps everywhere. Also dehumidifier and air conditioners were new, kept the condo very cool. Could use a new mattress in the master bedroom.

Amazing location and view! The property definitely needs some updates/upkeep but North Beach Realty did an awesome job of addressing our issues and fixing what they could as soon as possible!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In addition to being very outdated with worn out, dirty, random furniture. There were roaches everywhere. The shower door won’t close, leaving the bathroom flooded if anyone showered in there. Broken pieces of wood off of the balcony exposing rusty nails. The air conditioner leaks water constantly leaving puddles of water on the balcony. One air conditioner has to have the plug just the right way in order for it to Keep running. The master bed mattress has a huge dip in the middle making it very Uncomfortable. There really is just too much to list. This condo was just a major disappointment all the way around.

Outdated and had lots of bugs

When we arrived, the smoke detector was dying with the annoying beeping sound. Easily fixed. The TV wasn't working, there were roaches on the trashcan, no shower head. I called them and they fixed all of these issues. My daughter was the only one who slept on the couch and had dozens of bites all over her body. We didn't stay there during the day at all but were at the campground close by with family during the day. We only slept there. We saw roaches all in the kitchen and we checked out early. Management was helpful with us on these issues, but it was an utter disaster.

Affordable

Had a great time, room was clean and comfortable, everything worked. Great location. Lots of space at the beach, barely any crowds. Would definitely stay again.

Places not to stay!

Reviewer Comments: I had looked at the pictures and was ok with all of the pannalling. However, the condo was horribly humid. Their was a humidifier that I had to empty daily. The airconditioning is two outdated wall mounted units that one continued to turn off. The condo definetly needs updated as everything was worn out. Also, having two bathrooms but only one roll of toilet paper was a little disapointing, had to do a little shopping just to make the stay more confortable.

Perfect beach getaway!

This property was perfect for me and my family! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were great and the best part was being STEPS from the beach!!!!! Our unit was always cool because of the A/C units. There was very good communication between me and the host. They were quick to answer my questions. We took advantage of the free activities too! That was wonderful! The Pirates Voyage show was a big hit with my family!! Overall this was a great vacation spot and we will definitely be coming back! You can’t beat the price. Check in and check out was a breeze!

Outdated and not maintained

Stayed from July 29 through August 5. Family of 5. Pull out sofa is broken and can’t be used. When we reported the issue, the owner offered to vacate the room in the next two hours for a full refund. We were given an air mattress, that we had to use for the whole week. Sorry, but this not, how you treat your guests. Carpets are extremely dirty. With the humid coastal environment this is beyond the sanitary norms. We were told they were last cleaned in February. The living room AC is barely alive. Second one in the bedroom is extremely loud. Very dated bathrooms with weird behaving toilets. Bring your coffee filters. Nothing is provided. Overall, I would never come back to this property. The only good thing is the location. You can’t beat the ocean front!

Wonderful Beach get away

The unit is a little dated, but perfectly served its purpose. We were just steps away from the ocean and my kiddos LOVED the pool. We had a great vacation.

Family Vacation

Reviewer Comments: it was a great time having all the kids and grandkids together in two different condos but close by. a couple of things however in the condo, the dishwasher didnt clean the dishes very well, and they could leave a couple extra rolls of toilet paper, No coffee pot (which we could have used) and maybe some instructions on the TV.... the beds were super comfy as well as the pillows... will try to rent again...was a amazing time

A place at the Beach III, building 2, unit J2

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of two child (8 and 11) and us both enjoyed a week of getaway in this unit, greatly located. We had come here some 20 years before and some things had changed through the years. As the main reason for us was to have direct access to the beach and to a pool, we were spoiled. Most of the unit was to our needs. Of course the decoration had not been changed for the last decade or two, but we had what was required from there. Some tiny things could be upgraded, like, hot-vapor cleaning the carpet, cleaning the windows, change the doors as they are very rusted or inoperable. A mop, cleaning detergent should be added for maintenance during the stay. The carpet of balcony may hide some damage to the wood-floor structure and balcony chairs are too low to be able to see the ocean sittting down. Other than these small things, I repeat we had a great time. THANKS!

Everyone was broken

When we got there it looked clean from afar but once we got in and set our stuff down there was a weird smell there was no shower curtain in the main bathroom had to buy once then the maintenance didn’t come till Tuesday bc of the holiday (4th of July) and we started our stay on Saturday there was also no door handle on the balcony the toaster didn’t work properly and even more there was a list of broken things left for us on the counter when we got there there’s no our door furniture just plastic chairs not very good lighting so the place was just kinda gloomy and we paid good money and took time off work to go vacation in a nice place compared where my mom and her sister were staying our place was a living hell we even left 2 days early bc we were just sick of it asked to be compensated for some of the stay and honestly never had to do that in my life

Unit dated

Was happy to see a person at the guard booth. Last year had non owners and non renters parking in the lot. Last day there one pool was closed. Unit rented was a realtor rental. Unit was as dated as it looked online, but was comfortable and well stocked.

Invasion of Privacy. Not good

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first got there on Saturday night the air conditioner was not cooling the unit. The batteries were missing from the remotes and we had to buy some. The remote to the den was missing altogether. When I checked in on Monday, I mentioned all of this. They said the would send maintenance to fix the remote. They never said anything about the other issues. Maintenance showed up Monday night, confirmed the remote we needed was not there. He was nice and gave us one.Wednesday morning I open the silverware drawer to get a spoon for coffee and a bug ran across the silver ware. I called and the offered to have housekeeping come over and put the silverware in the dishwasher for me. I said I can do that myself. Then she offered to have maintenance come by and spray the unit for me. I agreed. I don’t know if they ever came. No note or confirmation this was done was given to us. Thursday night after we came back to the unit after being out with family we found the extra air conditioner unit in the master bedroom was missing and duck tape was left on the floor. We were in shock, all our money, jewelry and personal belongings were in the unit. We spent an hour checking through everything to make sure nothing was missing. Thank god nothing was missing. I then checked my phone for a text, voicemail or email to let us know if the management company sent someone to get this unit. Nothing. The next morning I called the management co and talked to Victoria, who said oh yeah, maintenance said your air conditioner unit was working fine so they went in and got the extra one for another unit Thursday night. I was very upset they had the nerve to just come in and take something with out contacting us first or leaving a note or some kind of communication. We felt a huge invasion of privacy. What if we were sleeping or something? She was very unapologetic or had no concern for the lack of safety we then felt being at this unit. We will NEVER use this company again.

Never staying there again

My suite had roaches , dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no TV in second room... I'm still trying to figure out what was the deposit for.

Nice getaway

This place was nice and cozy. Check in was easy. Even though we arrived after the office was close everything was in a packed in their lock box. We could see some of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Everything was a short drive.

The Property was dated but comfy and homey. The unit was not properly prepped for our arrival. There was no water pressure because a main valve was turned off while unit was unoccupied. No instructions were given concerning the water so we had no water for three of our four days stay.
