El Kemah Dozen Palms Bay Retreat está a solo 2-3 minutos a pie del paseo marítimo de Kemah y del distrito del faro de Kemah, donde encontrará comida, diversión y entretenimiento para toda la familia. En la casa, disfrute de la vista y el sonido de la bahía o suba al agua con los kayaks provistos y explore la costa. Observe pasar varios pájaros y barcos. Nuestra casa frente a la bahía está situada justo en la costa. Hay espacio para estacionar hasta 5 autos en nuestro camino privado detrás de la puerta. Disfrutará de magníficas vistas panorámicas de la bahía desde el exterior, así como desde el interior de la casa. Hay áreas de descanso en el muelle, patio, porche y balcón con vista a la bahía.

El corazón de la casa es su plano de planta de espacio abierto que combina la sala de estar con el comedor y la cocina. Es un gran lugar de reunión para familias y amigos. Vea la bahía a través de numerosas ventanas o simplemente camine afuera en el balcón y admire el hermoso paisaje del océano y su vida salvaje desde la comodidad de muchas áreas de descanso. Hay una sala de estar adicional en el primer piso.

En los días en que el agua está tranquila, puede lanzar kayaks (en tándem y solos) desde el área entre el mamparo y el agua. Se vierte hormigón rocoso y puede ser resbaladizo.

Este es uno de los mejores lugares para pescar y pescar cangrejos. Hay mostradores de preparación de peces y sumideros en el muelle y el patio. Hemos capturado peces rojos, platijas, truchas moteadas, bagres y otros aquí. Si te encanta pescar, ¡este es el lugar!

También puede ser el mejor lugar para ver el impresionante espectáculo de fuegos artificiales en Kemah, que se celebra todos los viernes por la noche de junio a julio y año nuevo. ¡La barcaza que dispara los fuegos artificiales está anclada no muy lejos del final del muelle! Se puede ver un mar de luces iluminando desde barcos en la bahía.

Todos los televisores de alta definición son inteligentes, lo que significa que puede ver sus canales de internet y cable favoritos utilizando solo el control remoto del televisor. Goodness, where do I start!This place was perfect! You think the photos online are good, wait until you see it in person. The host Le was so attentive and got everything right to every small detail. We appreciated that every cabinet and drawer were labeled and organized along with light switches and remotes with instructions. The talking cactus was a nice touch and brought tons of laughter. We enjoyed viewing the sunrise from the dock and seeing all the dolphins in the bay! Couldn’t have had a better weekend. Thank you so much Le for everything!!

I visit Kemah quite often and this is my second time staying here and we really enjoy it. The location is perfect. We walked to the Boardwalk everyday with the kids.The house is clean and has everything you need. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the evenings & My son and grandson enjoyed fishing and actually caught some crabs and a couple of small catfish. One of my favorite restaurants is around the corner T Bone Tom’s. But there are many to choose from if you don’t feel like cooking.I’m already thinking about my next stay.Thanks Le for sharing your home with our family!

Excellent property. Very clean, no issues with home, well stocked for all ages and the fishing is top notch. Owner is responsive and kind and made sure all needs are met. We caught shark, eel, alligator gar, sting ray as well as several other varieties of fish!! Best house we have stayed in!! Thank you!

Awesome Vacation Stop

Kemah Bay Retreat was the perfect location for our annual family vacation. It is obvious why this property consistently receives a 10/10 rating. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, very, very clean, with exceptional amenities. The fishing pier is a great addition for those who enjoy wetting a line. The location of the house is mere steps away from the Kemah boardwalk that offer numerous restaurants, shopping, bar locations for the adults and carnival rides and games for the kids. It is also minutes from other spots that the Houston area offers for vacationers.Having rented VRBO properties for the past 10 years, I've dealt with numerous owners but Le ranks at the top of the list. He was extremely personable and took time to contact us several times to see if the property was meeting our needs and expectations. The Kemah Bay Retreat exceeded every expectation and has become our go to property for future family gatherings. I highly recommend this property.

Summer Getaway

This is a beautiful home conveniently located next to the boardwalk. Wr are a large family with 6 kids from 9-17. Everyone has ample space to enjoy whichever activity they liked. We spent a lot of time on the covered pier. If you enjoy fishing it’s a great space. We have stayed here twice now and plan to come back again next year!

We had a great time. The property was very comfortable and had a lot to do. The highlight of our trip was catching a crab. We were very excited before we released it back into the ocean. Le was also very responsive when an issue came up. He was able to resolve it quickly. We would definitely recommend staying at the Kemah Bay Retreat.

Amazing Kemah Stay

We had a fabulous week stay at this amazing property. The host is exceptional. Every area of the property has special and thoughtful touches that just enhanced our visit and showed how much the host cares about his guests. The location absolutely CAN NOT be beat! Ten of us ranging in age from 12 to 65-ish all rate this as the best vacation ever. So much to do The pier drew us in and did not disappoint. Lots and lots of fishing. Wonderful meals all within walking distance. A great amusement park next door (yet the property felt private and peaceful). Half way between Houston and Galveston so we made trips to both cities for Football bowl games, the Zoo, walks on the beach, cruises, etc. Again, the location is perfect. New Year's Eve we were treated to a very elaborate fireworks display and the fireworks barge was anchored straight off our pier. We had the best view you can imagine, all snuggled up under blankets on the beautiful upper deck. It was bliss. The whole stay was bliss. Le was wonderful to work with. Before booking I wondered how this property got such a high rating, and I hoped it was "for real". It deserves it's near-perfect score and more. Above and beyond. Thanks Le for sharing this property with us and for all the attention and detail you give to make your guests so comfortable. Happy New Year from your new Oregon Friends!

Excellent getaway

We really loved the property! Room as are very comfortable and amenities are adequate. Everything wa marked correctly and I really liked the no access labels so we don’t bother pulling out the drawers. The view of the sea from the second floor is amazing. We got to see the sunrise from the second floor. Very relaxing trip and the owners have thought of all possible things the guests might need. Recommend it highly

Great place for a large family!

The place was beautiful! We celebrated Thanksgivings weekend at this lovely home. Everything we needed to cook our holiday meal was easily accessible in the lovely open concept kitchen. The location was very convenient and located within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to go back!

1st Annual Grand's Fishing Trip

My family, especially my grandchildren, enjoyed every second of our stay celebrating their 1st fishing trip with Grandmother! The property is absolutely fabulous. The inside is very accommodating for every possible need. The outside offered treats for all ages. AND the fishing and crabbing set-up, the pier, the lighting, cleaning table, water availability is outstanding. Sunsets, the sound of the waves, the near-by attractions, and comforts of home, made this adventure one that will be repeated.

Amazing House and Location

We’ve stayed here twice now and the location is superior. It’s literally steps from the boardwalk and all the shopping/bars. Not only is the location amazing, the house itself it’s super clean, beds are great, and plenty of amenities! Le was super responsive and helpful!

Adventure is here

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment we were at this amazing property.It is a two minute walk to anything you could want, restaurant, shopping, nightlife,coffee,arcade, amusement park ,it was so clean and spacious and had more than most vrbos we have previously stayed at.The amenities are endless,we had such a fun adventure.We are hoping to come back to this very peaceful, amazing fun home 💗 park

Tip: Get a day pass to enjoy amusement rides all day. Your kiddos can walk back to the house to rest and return to the boardwalk to continue the fun, throughout the day!

At the Kemah Lighthouse District, there's entertainment every weekend, antiques, collectibles, home decor, resort and casual clothing, hand-crafted items, ice cream, shops, bars, grills, pubs, cafes, bistros, restaurants....

Kemah is centrally located in that it's about 26 miles from Galveston beaches and 34 miles from downtown Houston.
