Hermoso, tranquilo, campestre en Willamette River

Estamos ubicados en Peoria, Oregon en el río Willamette. Nuestras amplias (600sq pies) cuartos con su propia entrada privada se encuentra en el extremo norte de nuestro 100 años residencia granero viejo. Ofrecemos hermosos jardines para pasear, el río para disfrutar, y la tranquilidad de vivir en el campo.

Aquí, en el antiguo Río granero hay un montón de oportunidades para jugar, descansar y relajarse. Dar un paseo por el río, disparar una partida de billar, o simplemente relajarse en la hamaca junto al río.

El paso hacia fuera en el balcón privado y ver el amanecer sobre las montañas Cascade y puesta de sol sobre la cordillera de la costa. Vistas varían con las estaciones.

Corvallis, sede de la Universidad Estatal de Oregon, se encuentra a sólo 10 minutos de distancia y ofrece un ambiente agradable ciudad natal con una variedad de tiendas, restaurantes frente al río y un maravilloso mercado de los agricultores (abril-noviembre) con productos locales frescos, frutas, flores, miel , mermeladas y mucho más.

El antiguo granero es verdaderamente un pequeño pedazo de paraíso, lejos del estrés de la vida cotidiana. Creemos que su estancia en el río Guest Quarters será una experiencia para recordar ... y le damos la bienvenida!

Lovely Riv Spot!

Me and my 2 friends had a lovely time staying here :) We spent almost the entire day on that couch overlooking the riv. So peaceful and relaxing, I loved it here. It felt much more like a real home than any other vacation rental I've ever stayed in! Loved all the comfy sitting areas, the bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, everything was clean and comfortable and great :) Thanks so much guys! We had a great time!

A bit of peace and serenity

We loved staying at RiverHaus. Kathy and Gregg have an amazing property right on the river. Enjoying coffee and watching the river flow by is mesmerizing. Fresh flowers, the most comfortable bed and a rustic setting places this stay as one of our top experiences. Thank you

Amazing!

This property is simply amazing. The interior of the rental is warm and inviting and the river access makes this place a true gem! The owners Kathy and Gregg were the icing on top. Very welcoming and treated us like family. A must for any vacation in this area!

Wonderful hosts in a lovely setting.

My partner and I paddled up to the property, spent two nights and then paddled on! Hosts let me drop off food in advance, and we're incredibly lovely. The view was so serene and restful.

Mom's Weekend Getaway

This was my first Mom's weekend in Corvallis and thankfully I found this rental when most other places were already booked. My daughter (15) and my ex-husband stayed here to visit with our son. This rental is perfect for a couple or single renter but worked for our needs, too. The hosts were very friendly on the phone and it was pretty easy to find with their instructions. The rental is connected to the main house but feels very private. I loved the feel indoors especially in the room facing the river. We all slept well. Such a lovely place in the spring!

The house is cozy, warm and inviting. It is like staying in a real home and not a rental. Beautiful windows overlooking the river. Hosts are so warm and welcoming.

Quiet and relaxing stay

We visited Corvallis and Eugene for college tours, and this spot was just the absolute perfect place to come back to after busy afternoons on campus. Quiet, well stocks, super comfy and clean... and the owners are just the most helpful and sweet. I will be back!!

Stunning View

The Riverhaus is a lovely retreat which exceeded our expectations. Kathy and Gregg were delightful hosts. Kathy had everything we needed for our month long stay during a home remodeling project. We enjoyed peaceful walks on "Main Street" Peoria and a stunning view of the Willamette River. The bank of windows in our suite gave not only a great view of the Willamette River, but also a stellar view of magnificent sunsets over the Oregon Coast Range. We definitely plan to return!

Serene and cozy

Kathy and Gregg are very welcoming, helpful and kind people and their VRBO reflects this. The home is very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality plates, cups/glasses and silverware. All appliances that we tried worked well. Very nice areas for eating, sitting to watch the river roll by and to watch satellite TV. The view from the back is stunning, with a wide-open clear view of the river, mature trees and a well-kept lawn... all from well above the ground. This same area was accessible by foot, so one can go sit by the river, right up by the water. One of the most serene environments I've experienced at any VRBO, and I've been to quite a few. The rooms had old-fashioned broad-board hardwood floors, with nice lighting and relaxed, tastefully eclectic decorations. Two recliners and a sofa in the main room, plus a nice table and padded chairs in the kitchen. A second sofa looks out to the river, which can also be used for sleeping. Nice bedding and pillows. The bathroom had excellent quality fixtures, with a nice shower with good water pressure and good hot water. Plenty of towels and blankets and such. Everything worked perfectly. The VRBO is separate from the owner's residence and totally quiet, save the rare little boat going along the river. Check-in and -out was 100% smooth and easy. The owners were available if we needed them, but not intrusive at all. Very nice people. Corvallis is 15 minutes away and this place is an excellent escape from the relatively busy life of a college town. There's beautiful farmland and rolling terrain nearby that's great to explore. Overall, an excellent stay and we'll gladly stay here again next time!

A piece of paradise.

Beautiful well equipped suite with beautiful comfortable furnishings. Big deck looking at river with a small rare river bottom forest with huge trees. Hosts are wonderful, pleasant and very helpful. A truly splendid place.

Relaxing home base near Corvallis

My sons and I stayed here for a hiking & exploring trip around Corvallis and the coastline. Kathy and Gregg have an amazing property and could not be more pleasant and accommodating. The apartment is homey, clean & interesting and splashing around in the river after a long day of hiking & sightseeing can’t be beat. Book this spot with confidence and enjoy your stay…. Quiet location

My daughter and I were in Oregon for events in Eugene, and booked the Riverhaus. Very quiet location between Corvallis and Eugene that worked well for what we needed. The unit is in a beautiful location overlooking the river with beautiful gardens/yard. We enjoyed listening to the birds while sitting on the deck.

Spring break visit to see daughter.

Charming house and owners by the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and very comfortable. We loved that the property was is a historical granary, too.

Moved from Laguna Beach to escape the density of California and feel so blessed to have purchased this historic 100 year old granary on the 10th largest river in the United States. Country living is a dream come true.

We purchased this property the day it went up for sale. We were walking our dogs from the home we had been renting which we intended to rent for a year before deciding to make Oregon our permanent residence. It was providential! How often does a 100 year old Granary on the water come up for sale? The rest is history

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We fell in love with this unique piece of property, the old barn, the Douglas fir wood floors the wood beams and ceilings, the incredible river view the country living that provides serene and peaceful surroundings. Watching the eagles dive into the water and come up with a fish, all the species of birds right outside our windows. Relaxing in our hammock overlooking the river. Remodeling and watching all the potential this property had was an amazing journey. We fall more in love with it with each passing day and remain grateful for our lives here at the Old Granary.
