Modern House is a stunning 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath contemporary villa on three floors offering a relaxed, chilled, stylish, and elegant holiday escape. Modern House offers spectacular harbor views from every room and is a short walk from restaurants and shops.

The open-plan kitchen area with lounge and dining area leading out on the pool is a fabulous space for entertaining.

The bedrooms have beautiful views of the 'Caribbean ocean' and the property is a 15min walk to the spectacular pink sands French Leave beach.

Great Home and Location!

This home is exactly as pictured! It exceeded our expectations and truly regret not staying longer. The location is central to Governor’s, restaurants and other settlements. The beds were comfy and all the rooms had beautiful views. I highly recommend booking this home!

My favorite house yet in Eleuthera

Awesome Stay

Modern House is a beautiful, very well managed property. It has all of the extra touches to make your stay and vacation lacking nothing. The property managers, Brittney, Charmaine and Patrick overextend themselves to ensure every need is met. The house is extremely well kept, each room has more than you will need to enjoy your stay and the pool was the best around. Its location. is perfect, near stores, beach and fishing. Churches are close by as are restaurants. Perfect vacation, perfect stay, perfect house and accommodations.

Comfort and Convenience in town

Beautiful sunsets, a one minute walk to coffee and pastries at DaPerk, easy access to dinner at the Buccaneer and a well stocked convenience store were the extras that put our stay at Modern House over the top! The house was beautifully decorated, the pool was literally outside the living room door. Wifi was excellent. What more could you want?

EXCEPTIONAL

Modern House is an exceptional home; it has more than what you need for a peaceful, fun filled vacation. The entire home, pool, yard are well kept, beyond our expectations. Brittany, the contact, was wonderful and very accommodating to our check in process. We checked in early and found the home in pristine condition. Daily, the property manager Robinson cleaned the exterior and greeted us with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful stay and your warm, friendly, Eleuthera assistance!

Beautiful beaches

First and foremost DO NOT USE Taylor & Taylor Rental car company. They are the most expensive and will rip you off! This house is great! The location is perfect! View from the master suite is amazing, watched many spectacular sunsets there! Other 3 bedrooms are just as amazing with great views. Kitchen is well equipped (a few things need replacing (toaster and blender) we cooked many meals & had everything we needed! TV reception is great in a very comfortable living area where we watched our Detroit Lions win the NFL Championship!!! Pool is wonderful, plenty of sun & shaded areas. If you are there in the winter months you are going to want to have the pool heated. It’s very cold but after paying to have the heater turned on we used it all day and night. It’s not cheap but well worth it!! Patrick was the perfect host always making sure we were good. If we needed anything it was done immediately! Restaurants we liked were The Buccaneer, Daddy Joe’s, 1648, Tipsy’s, LeoRose, La Bougainvillea & Frigate’s. The Friday Fish Fry is a lot of fun and food is good. Beaches are truly spectacular! We liked French Leave & Twin Cove. We loved Ten Bay beach best be sure to leave you car unlocked empty & windows down here they will break into your vehicle do not leave your stuff unattended EVER locals come (we witnessed) and will take your stuff BE AWARE: KEEP HOUSE DOORS LOCKED & valuables in safe It is very expensive here! Inconsiderate locals blasting car bass 7am into the night

Modern Luxury in Eleuthera

Our family of seven adults spent a week in Governor's Harbor to celebrate the holiday season together. We were so happy to have selected Modern House for our stay. Our hosts were phenomenal, and helped us with everything we needed. Each bedroom provided a lovely view of the harbour. Two of our children are chefs, and the kitchen was well equipped for them to make marvelous meals. Walking to town was so easy, and the walk to the magnificent French Leave Beach a highlight of each day. If you are seeking a perfect setting for your grown-up family vacation, this is it!

Perfect House and Location

We loved our stay at Modern House. Beautiful, new and perfectly appointed. Joy and Dominic were very helpful and friendly - getting us settled in and helping with any issues that arose, in addition to answering many questions prior to our trip. I would recommend visiting between Nov-May as many businesses were closed for the off-season in Oct.

Wonderful!!

What a fantastic week we had at the Modern House!! The home was everything we could have asked for, beautiful and extremely comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed, the living room was roomy and it probably has the best beds and bedding that we have slept on in a vacation home (and we have slept on many). In fact, we meant to check before we left to see what brands the mattresses and lines were. Very nice! The pool was terrific too. The home came with beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a cooler and we made use of them every day. Governor's Harbor was beautiful and we felt safe and welcomed by the locals. There were 2 local grocery stores and we were able to pick up almost everything we needed there. We did pick up a few items at the Bacchus deli. We had dinner a couple of times at Tippy's, the Buccaneer Club, and Pascals. We also ordered from the Sweet and Savory food truck outside of Burrow's grocery store a few times and it was delicious! The local bakery was great too as was the local coffee shop! The property managers, Joy and Dom, were wonderful to work with and met us at the house to check us in and showed us around the home and made sure that we knew how to work everything and gave us tips on where to eat, beaches to check out, etc. It was really a perfect week and we can't wait to go back!

The house is immaculate, modern, and just downright fabulous. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with the master suite taking up the entire top floor. This makes it perfect for 4 couples to rent and enjoy the communal spaces or for a large family vacation.
