Extended Weekend Stay

Very well kept accommodations in a quiet country setting, but close to all Canandaigua has to offer. The partially fenced yard was perfect for our dog.

Cleaning

Property was good.location was nice just as expected . Just expected someone to clean prior to check in in my mind... Seems like it has been vacant for weeks or months.. overall house was clean but definitely has a mouse problem.. finger lakes realty was in charge of property they should be on top of cleaning much better then they were. Hope this gets cleared up for new renter.

Great stay!

We had a great stay! House was just as advertised and exactly what we were looking for! Only negative is that there was a problem with the half bathroom upon arrival. I did email the management company to let them know and never got a response. It was not urgent as there was another bathroom and therefore did not really impact our stay. Would recommend this property!

Beautiful, bright well-appointed property with plenty of space to spread out. The trails were perfect for country skiing. We would stay again.

Relaxing New Year

Stayed for New Year's and sister's birthday. Everything was nice and comfortable! The only issue we had was some mice and had to wash everything and the Keurig didn't work right. But shower was wonderful, the hot tub worked, the beds comfortable and relaxing. Definitely recommend

Restful and peaceful and fun!

Harmony Hill was a very nice place to relax, enjoy the Finger Lakes region, and build great memories as a family. The location is very quiet, within ten minutes to downtown Canandaigua, and is a restful place with room to spread out and enjoy time alone or gather as a family. Indoors and outdoors are enjoyable, and the pond had some great fishing! Indoors is decorated very nice with some very attractive woodwork. We had a great time here! The reason for the 4 star overall rating is as follows. With a few improvements and attention to a few details, this home would be top of the line. One, the kitchen inventory is a bit spotty. Basics are there (silverware, plates, mugs, etc); however, we found the cookware and storage items lacking in order and inventory. Secondly, there are no ceiling fans. This is seen in the pictures, and while the AC kept the place cool, we ran the box fans throughout our stay in the bedrooms. Additionally, the comforters on the bed were for winter and were a bit much for summer. Lastly, and this isn't a big deal, but would be nice to have - no dressers in the bedrooms. You are living out of your suitcase. None of these items are a reason not to stay at this home. It is a lovely location and very comfortable. Just preference and perhaps a bit of creature comforts.

Beautiful Country Stay

Wonderful property that is decorated and furnished to fit into the rural and wooded area. The hot tub and spacious deck were fantastic and the trails and paths and large lawn were wonderful for our pup. Thank you for being so welcoming with our girl - she is well behaved and we enjoyed everything and treated it as our own. Thank you for the gracious welcoming gifts and the clean home. Well done!!

Harmony hills was amazing I highly recommend

I highly recommend harmony hills the property was amazing we loved the hot tub and the fenced in area for dogs was a huge plus. We did have problems with septic / plumbing maintenance came right out but was unfortunately unable to fix the problem so we had to cut our trip short. the owners of the property very kind and did everything they could to resolve the unfortunate circumstances. We are planning a trip to return in the future and thank you for going above and beyond for your guests

Cozy home

We are from the area and enjoyed the get away from home. The property was cleanly, stocked with cooking essentials, dinnerware, and a gas stove. No dishwasher. They have a single point drinking filter for water, no need to bring water. The grill was great and easy to use. Hot tub was nice. Ideal time to stay(to me) would be during peak fall colors, or if you like to ski I’m sure it’s beautiful in the winter. There are walking trails behind the home, a fire pit, and a dock with water entry on the larger pond. The only warnings I would give is that their are a lot of stairs and the side of the jetted tub is high(also the shower), we both wacked our feet getting in and out the first time. Nothing to complain about just warnings for those who need to take those items into consideration for renting.

Family visit

Property and location were perfect. Nice and relaxing and the fishing was really a joy for kids and grandkids along with the walking trails. Jacuzzi was a real plus. Very dog friendly.

Only real issues were the grass was too deep to do anything really until Saturday when a crew came and mowed. And the hot tub needs some care… otherwise we absolutely loved the place

Spring Break

Overall the property was amazing. Only draw backs were the constant traffic and the proximity to the road. The other was the water pressure which was almost nonexistent and made the jet tub not useful and showers not refreshing. The welcome package and the thoughtfulness of the dogs was great, the trails where easy enough for our yonger children (4&6), and the ponds were fun to fish in. The cozy atmosphere was relaxing and very enjoyable.

Harmony Hill

Beautiful property, beautiful views, lovely home! Close to many attractions in the Finger lakes. Wifi was great also! The only suggestion I have would be to tell folks that you have to carry all your gear up a lot of steps to enter. My husband and I are in our 70's and we had a hard time carting cooler, food supplies, etc. up the stairs. I would recommend this house to anyone!

Beautiful cabin with room to roam

We had a great experience at Harmony Hill. The house was well stocked with all of the cooking utensils and dishes you need, as well as a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. The property is very private with trails to hike and we loved the dog pen area out back for our two dogs. We were only 10 minutes from town and discovered that Instacart would deliver our groceries there so we had groceries delivered shortly after arrival. The air conditioning wasn't working the first night we were there but they sent someone right out to fix it as soon as we called to notify them. The board games were a nice touch as our kids enjoyed playing them. We will definitely book this property again in the future!
