Pros: great beach access, wonderful restaurant very close by, in walking distance, large space inside for gathering of friends and family, allows dogs, plenty of bedroomsCons: icemaker broken, no ice, tv not working, heating on Celsius not Fahrenheit, several windows in the house were open and rusted so we were unable to close them

Fantastic location, the space is great however could use , a good deep clean. Especially in the kitchen. Please note, we did enjoy ourselves and overall is a pleasant experience. Our little dog, had a great time as well, we appreciate, being able to have her with us.

Beautiful place

The home is gorgeous and the area is very safe. The only thing off was the instructions said to go to front door for entry with keypad when it’s actually the back door and you have to go through back yard.

Family birthday

This was a great house for a family of 10. The great room and kitchen were awesome. It was also close to the beach, which was a plus. I would rent it again.

Great short getaway

The property is beautiful, and only a block away from the ocean. It was perfect for a small group retreat with a spacious kitchen to cook for all of us.

Family Wedding in Half Moon Bay

It was okay but absolutely not worth the money. I have used VRBO as my go to around the globe and this was a Meh at best. the neighborhood was a little loud and intimidating a couple of nights. The layout was not great for a group. Everything was on the top floor and the bedrooms were in the basement. I wouldn't rent this property again.

Not as clean as expected with the price

Positives: — location — well stocked kitchen Negatives: — yard is a shadow of itself from what one sees in the pictures — kitchen stove was greasy — stairway very steep. Not for small children, could benefit from a baby gate as living room and kitchen are upstairs. Also, some stair liners were loose which could cause a fall. — the interior desperately needs to be painted — sofas need steam cleaning All in all, for the price paid, I expected something closer to what I’d get for a similarly priced hotel. Unrelated to the property, VRBO and other STR sites are putting hotels to shame with additional fees. For example, early checkin available, at $50/hour. (No benefit for early checkout!). Then admin fees, cleaning fees, etc etc.

Great for families near the beach

We were two families with small children and loved being close to the beach. Nice backyard with a clean grill. Spacious upstairs area for hanging out.

The 3 stooges

Im not bad mouthing the host but them 3 male stooges around the neighborhoods keep harassing me and my family. It was to a point we're going to kick ourself out after we whip their ass. I would not recommend this place because of that. It not worth the hassle dealing with grown ass man who want to Sabotage a person wellbeing. Enough said

Quick Get Away

Large, spacious place that has plenty of places to sleep. Thermostat allows you to adjust the temperature indoors. Plenty of parking as well.

Very relaxing

This place is amazing! It is very spacious and allowed us to have a very relaxing time with my family. My adult kids commented on how "chill" it was, since there weren't any signs on what not to do in every room... it's only a very short walk to the beach, and the view onto the ocean from the living room window is breathtaking. The beds were so comfortable. We also enjoyed the beautiful and very private backyard. The dishwasher was a little wonky as it's not bolted in, but everything else was in great working order.

Great place to stay

It's a nice place, in a nice neighborhood, and a great view of the ocean. The house has everything you need. There will little things that could be improved. They're are so many light switches, it was hard to tell what did what. The fireplace in the master bedroom either didn't work or wasn't obvious how to turn it on. As far as cleanliness, it looked like no one had been there in a while, but it was mostly clean. I only mention some of these things because I've stayed at a lot of places and this place could be really incredible with some small tweaks and upgrades.

Easy and relaxing fun!

We had a group of 11 in our family for four days. The house is spacious and allowed each of us to choose to join in with the noisy fun and activity, or instead to retreat to any of several quiet and comfortable areas. We found everything we needed, towels etc. The upper floor is the main living area, and we had no problem with our upstairs activity disturbing the downstairs sleepers. The kitchen is very large and roomy, with every coffee option you could dream of! The house has many views from every window making it bright and cheerful and open. The backyard was put to good use by the little ones, giving them a safe, secure and entertaining place to play. The beach is a short walk from the home and a perfect place to spend the day. The upstairs primary shower continues to have a sticking door that needs some attention, and the dishwasher is not bolted in (so use caution when loading and unloading your dishes). Despite these issues, I would definitely recommend this home for a larger family. The spacious floor plan and location so near the beach just can't be beat!

Cool foggy pretty adventure

For the most part, the facility was good. Enough space for all 14 of us. Some things we would improve on are: the shower, door, upstairs, more toilet, paper, paper towels, maybe more beach towels, or games to play. Other than that it was a good place. One more thing, more seating in the living area by the fireplace.

Great location

Location was amazing!! Host was easy to get a hold of with questions. Only drawback was the property was a little in need of some updates, and a had a few ants and spiders in the house as well, otherwise amazing home!

Great Family Home

Lots of room for our group of 8. Location is awesome with lots of walking options nearby. Backyard is beautiful! We spent lots of time gathering in the backyard around the fire table. We’d definitely rent again!

Really great house + recommendations

There were 12 of us celebarating my Mother's 80th birthday. Our family included 4 young adults (men 18-21) who all stayed upstairs: 1 in each sofa bed upstairs and 1 in each sofa type couches large enough for all. (All young men are 6' to 6' 5" so if that gives you an idea, that the boys had enough room. Mom and sis stayed in the master bedroom and then the remaining 6 peeps (3 couples) were in the bedrooms downstairs. The only slight minus is that you have 6 adults downstairs with only one bathroom so it got a little tricky in the a.m. with folks needing to use the restroom but not a huge deal. The hostess was extremely responsive. There was a slight communication issue as a result of the storms recently and the housecleaner who had locked supplies in a closet. When we arrived there were extremely sparse lines which we didn't realize until late into the evening that the young men needed sheets/pillow cases and extremely limited towels but we messaged the next morning and our needs were immediately resolved. One doesn't think to check all that upon arriving but it worked out. The first night we ordered BBQ locally which was a disappointment as a side note...2nd night we made a lovely cioppino dinner which is a family tradition. I would love to return when the weather is better. One of the things I wanted to emphasize is that the MB and Kitchen are upstairs and there's kind of a bonus room off the livingroom with the couches. All in all - you can't go wrong here but would love it if they had a hot tub in the back yard which would be icing on the cake!!!!

Location can't be beat

We had a great stay despite some crazy rain storms. So many rooms had views of the ocean which helped us enjoy our vacation even when we were stuck inside. Weather led to some internet outages which the managers worked diligently to fix even though much if it was outside their control. We were very happy with the service and highly recommend. All beds were extremely comfortable!
