It's an amazing place. It is extremely clean and authentic. The beds were great. Everything was so nice. The host is kind and granted us a one-day refund at her expense without any requirement to do so after we changed our arrival date shortly before our stay.

A Perfect Gem

The home is clean, well equipped and inviting.The location is perfect, Close to Costco and Safeway and some nice restaurants. The yard is well manicured and with a lovely warm evening we were able to enjoy a cocktail in the ack yard. so peaceful! Highly recommend. We will stay again when in town. Many thanks Kathryn

The stay was amazing, literally had everything we coulda ask. Good size and lots of space, heaters in every room to make sure you don’t stay cold. Kitchen area was adorable and clean. Definitely would recommend!

Quiet and Quaint

This was the perfect place for me for my week-long stay in Eugene. It’s a great location, easy to access and in a quiet neighborhood. The house is impeccably clean, with everything I needed to make my stay a very pleasant one.

...Just right

I think if you were to stay at this duplex, you will not be overwhelmed with luxury, but you can't help but think it was just right. Very minimalist, but refigerator (small, but that is all you probably need plus there is one in the garage). Each room has it's own heater with AC in the family room. Had trouble keeping the kitchen area warm (could have been us and I am sure the manager would have solved the issue). My son and daughter stayed with us. They did not want to sleep in the same bed so we bought an air mattress and there was plenty of room for it. There was also multiple linens and sheets so our daughter was not cold. Everything was very clean. The beds are memory foam (think tempurpedic) so very firm. Pillows were excellent for my head. The only downside were the towels were very thin and got very wet easily. We saw everything on the streaming services (all the Thanksgiving games). Really only needed to know 2 roads to access everything, so very well located. The space is a duplex with access to a garage which was nice. Noisy to open if you have kids sleeping. Landscaping and the yard were very well kept with Juniper bushes that are difficult to maintain, but were very well manicured. The furniture is not necessarily comfortable, but fine. Smaller couch, but not a problem (son napped on the couch fine). Fireplace with duraflame logs if you wanted to use. Again, not a lot to it, nor is it luxurious, but certainly practical and great for 2 to 4.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and exactly as listed. Communication was great and host was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again when we visit for the weekend.

Mid-Modern charming!

This house is a throwback to the mid-century modern aesthetic of your grandparents but with all the things you love and nothing you hated. It’s tasteful and so fun. The house is not big but lives larger than it looks or we expected it also came with a surprising big yard. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have slept in. Easy to find, easy access to services, and entry with no problems. Good communication and would definitely stay again. Great for UO parents with another kid in tow as well.

Traveled to watch our daughter run at NCAAs. This place worked out great for us. Easy to get to and from the stadium. Very clean. Beds comfy. Host easy to communicate with.

Perfection near UofO

Beautiful property located conveniently near the University of Oregon. House was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for our first trip to Oregon. Freeway close with no noise or the other issues usually associated with same. Owner was accessible and very helpful. I'll be back on my next visit. Thank you.

Step Back in Time, keep it first class!

Our expectations were exceeded. The apartment was bright, well laid out, and private, with nice landscaping. There is a private backyard, fully fenced. Kathryn had coffee pods (delicious coffee), lots of creamers, tea, and even hot chocolate, along with several spices including sugar, salt, and pepper. She is indeed a premiere host as details in decor and anything you could expect like tissue, soap, shampoo; and those you would not expect like games, cold filtered water, and individually controlled heating for every room. The TV operated so simply w/lots of Smart options, including local channels and keeping up with CNN without cable with Samsung offering. Kathryn kindly accommodated us to come early in the day as our home was undergoing reno. So happy to have found this mid-century modern gem. Park your car in the garage! Neat, clean, comfortable, no clutter, with everything operating beautifully

We bought this property as a rental property many years ago, and we recently decided to refurbish it and convert it into a short-term rental -- because I love decorating Mid-Century Modern properties and my partner likes fixing homes up. Also, there aren't many short-term rentals in the Ferry Street Bridge area of Eugene.

The units are separated by 2 garages -- so you can't hear the neighbors next door!

I love the Mid-Century Modern style and that's what you'll find... Wood floors, hip furniture & mod artwork. The living area features a wood-burning fireplace...a sitting area to relax, visit or watch TV...a desk for writing or working. The kitchen is vintage 1960s with modern touches, including a new, mint-green, vintage-style refrigerator and turquoise Keurig coffeemaker. The dinette's 4-top table is perfect for dining or playing games. The two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed with 10" mattress, beautifully made for your comfort. The clean bathroom has tile floors and a tub/shower with tile surround. There's even a 1-car garage for parking!
