Description lacking

We were unaware that we were not renting the entire house. When we arrived we were told someone else lived on the ground floor. We felt like that should have been made clear in the description and left after one night.

The description of the house clearly states that the caretaker lives on site on the ground level of the house and has no access to the main part of the house. All of our guests love having our caretaker on site for local recommendations and also to tend to anything that needs fixing right away.

Just say no...keep looking

Extremely disappointed! Caretaker lives on ground floor and u have to walk up to 2nd floor to main house. Bedrooms are up a 3rd floor. I told manager my 77 year old mom was with us and asked if house was accommodating. Was told yes! Trash accumulated along Beach. States private but is shared with larger house right next to it, so are the kayaks and paddle boards. The only access to water is 1 small ladder. Caretaker told us there were nurse sharks under pier but left out the baby reef sharks! Sewage smell was awful! They pumped twice while we were there. Checked out early to move to better beach access. Called manager 11 times and lt 2 messages before he texted me and said to message him! Tried to get a refund for the last day and was told no. I submitted pictures of the trash there so long it was bleached out.

A place to be re energized!

Very relaxing! Beautiful views! Amenities were great. Host and caretaker were very helpful. Would come again for sure! It would be a wonderful setting for any family gathering!

You want to stay here!! This was a fantastic home located perfectly! if you want a private beach and restful vacation, then this is the place for you. We loved the location! Cadimer was very prompt in every reply! Tom, the on-site caretaker was amazing! Gave us great tips on where to eat and was very helpful! Well worth the money! We will be back.

Had a great time very nice place, Tom the caretaker was always there when needed and very helpful. Dock was a nice feature saw sharks, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon, snappers and did a little fishing.

One of a kind location!!!

The house was clean and well stocked and the owner was very responsive. The beach area and wildlife was awesome, we saw iguanas, tarpon, shark, lion fish, hermit crabs and barracuda. For our stay, it was windier than normal which caused the beach to accumulate a lot of grass and some trash from the sea which was not cleared while we were there. It was a hindrance for the kids to play in the water in front of the beach and started to smell toward the end of our stay (which is why I rated cleanliness 4 stars but it would be 4.5 if that was an option as weather cannot be controlled). I was under the impression the house we were renting was the house in front of the dock (still being renovated) but instead it is the light blue house behind it. Also, I was not aware the property manager lived in the bottom floor of that home (which is why I rated 4 stars on the description). Those discrepancies did not interfere with us as there were no guests in the other homes on the property so we did not have to share the amenities. I assume the description will be clarified when the dock front home is finished and ready for rental. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for us all.

Hi Loren, thank you for you kind words. You are correct, I can see how it can be confusing with both houses. I will take your comment into consideration and will make it clear on the listing that the house on this listing is not the one in front of the dock. Also, I would like to clarify, that the person you met at the property is not the vacation manager, hes our caretaker and cleans our beach when needed, he also keeps a few of his things on the ground level.
