Check in

Doesn’t allow after 5pm check in even though they have a lock box which is useless. If you arrive after 5 you have to get a hotel for the night. Ridiculous

For those arriving after hours, we offer a convenient late arrival lock box system. Each guest scheduled for late check-in is sent a keyless code in advance, allowing them to securely access their arrival packet without the need for staff assistance. Crescent Shores

Overall Crescent Shores is a great vacation condo...loved the beach access, pool area, etc. The condo was clean for the most part except there were a few empty cans and bottles around the deck area and 2 of the bedrooms which seemed odd. The vacuum and cleaning supplies were left in the middle of the living room so it seemed like the cleaning staff abruptly left with out finishing (possibly). Anyway, it was a little odd but the rest of the condo smelled very clean and was very clean. They had all the ceiling fans running, the ice maker was cleaned out and making new ice, and the refrigerator temp was set to cold...so many times the refrigerator is not cold and there is no ice. We had a minor issue with a door knob and Maintenance came immediately to fix it. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are at Myrtle Beach.

Nice place, check in process was awful

The listing states check in starts at 3 o’clock. We drove 12 hours to arrive by 3 o’clock only to find out that you cannot check in until the unit is ready and it could be anytime from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock. I had multiple calls to Thomas vacations rentals . They were rude and unclear with the check in process. The Keurig machine didn’t work, the air condition system leaked, and the toilet in the master bedroom toilet did not flush correctly. The closets and laundry room smelled like weed. The elevator broke the first day so there were long lines to get into the property. Staff on the property were very polite and helpful. The parking garage is very tight, and the elevator broke the day of checkout. Thomas’s vacation did not own any of the problems because they blamed it on us for booking with a third-party meaning VRBO at the list and they had was unclear and misleading. I was told there was offsite parking, but I was required to go back to the office to get another pass in order to use the offsite parking. There were lots of inconveniences that would been fine if they were communicated upfront. The unit was nice with great views.

This would be a condo that I would not book again. Beginning with the check in process was a hassle. So many condos in the past have used codes with keypad so it’s easy to get in and out for multiple people. For this condo they only gave us two keys. That is hard when you have a large group and people in and out. The parking garage was very short. It would only fit small vehicles. I drive a Yukon Denali and was unable to fit so we had to find public street parking all week. The toilet in master bedroom and one of the double bedrooms that has the bathroom attached did not work. They constantly ran and did not flush correctly. The ad advertises DVD players so we took a DVD player compatible game for the kids. None of the DVD players worked or had remotes so we were unable to use them. My biggest pet was I reached out on Sunday morning after a Saturday evening check-in to let them know that the TV and one of the double bedrooms didn’t work. I was told maintenance would come look at it. The next day of maintenance man did come in and look at the TV and said something needed to be activated so he would contact the owners. After another day of not hearing anything, I tried to reach out to Thomas vacation rentals through Vrbo messaging never got a response back. Halfway through the week after multiple messages I finally got an email asking what I needed. I told them again that we would like the TV fixed in that bedroom and again, I got nothing and was never fixed.

Great location and condo was everything pictured. Tell guests they need to supply beach towels and chairs or use rentals. Tell guest about beach rules no tents or sunshades that block ocean view

Fantastic place to stay?

Property has a fantastic view! Very clean and spacious loaded with everything we needed in the kitchen. Easily accessible as complex has three large elevators.

not returning

The condo itself was ok,comfortable furniture, beds were comfortable, nicely decorated, some of the skillets in kitchen need thrown away. The building is old and the water pressure for shower goes up and down, you have to wait for it. checking in at the building is hard ,small space to park and unload, people were circling around to park. But it is centrally located , and the beach is very nice.

Excellent family stay.

This condo was exactly as advertised. The views were amazing and the location was great. The beach was beautiful. We had a flat tire during the night and security stayed with us even though they did not need to. Only down side was we did find several cockroaches in the condo as well as on the property and we need to rent bedding and towels. Other than that, I highly recommend.
