Gwenda y Dave Mayers le dan la bienvenida a nuestra casa de vacaciones.

NUEVO BAÑO para 2018

Rodeado de bosques ondulantes y situado en un hermoso y tranquilo valle, niños y adultos disfrutarán de nuestra ubicación idílica. Nuestra cabaña es el refugio perfecto para un descanso relajante con todas las comodidades modernas del hogar.
Puede explorar este imponente paisaje que tiene una gran cantidad de paseos y senderos nupciales que se adaptan a todas las capacidades: camina literalmente en la puerta. Alternativamente, por qué no sentarse y relajarse y disfrutar de la paz y la tranquilidad que ofrece nuestra casa de campo.

Actividades locales:

Estamos encantados de contarles a nuestros clientes más aventureros que también podemos ofrecerles una maravillosa oportunidad de participar en una serie de actividades al aire libre dirigidas por nuestros vecinos más cercanos Open Door Training. Aquí, de nuevo, encontrará actividades para todos los gustos, como equitación, montañismo, quads, paintball, kayak / piragüismo, etc.

Esta propiedad de vacaciones bien presentada fue construida alrededor de la década de 1750 como 2 casas de campo, se extendió muchos años más tarde y fue formalmente una posada de la aldea, antes de convertirse en cabañas.
Con un buen acceso a la A55 y muchas áreas de interés, esta es una base ideal para explorar el norte de Gales. Hay muchos hermosos paseos por el bosque local y la cabaña se encuentra en una zona aislada, pintoresca y tranquila.
Betws-Y-Coed no está demasiado lejos y Snowdon también es de fácil acceso. Hay muchos sitios históricos para visitar, así como el muelle victoriano en Llandudno. Campos de golf, equitación, ciclismo, pesca y observación de aves, localmente. Tiendas, supermercados y pubs dentro de 3 millas.

Quirky and Comfortable

With lots of good information we had no difficulty in finding the cottage, getting in, finding shops, and though we didn't need doctor, dentist or hospital, the info was there should the need have arisen. We loved the quiet, the river walk and the ease of getting to places of interest, sea side, castles, beautiful scenery. We had a lovely stay in this little home from home.

Cozy Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Riverside Cottage! It is small, but cozy, and had plenty of room for the four of us. The location, while remote, was beautiful and close enough to enjoy visiting all the castles, gardens, and seaside villages, as well as Snowdonia! Those of you not used to driving on small rural roads in the UK might be a bit concerned by some of the narrow roads leading to the cottage, but we found that there was generally little traffic on them. We found the cottage stocked with all the kitchen pots, pans, and dishes we needed. The bathroom has been completely updated and was beautiful. The second bedroom is small, but our two daughters (16 and 21) really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Second Visit

Once again we visited this lovely very clean little cottage, & we enjoyed staying there comfy & cosy. It’s a great area for our dog, she loved playing in river. Short drive to Rhyl and Llandudno! Great parking area for the car. Neighbour’s are friendly too, some of them are lovely. The owners have a wonderful property and they keep it to a very high standard, for the visitors. Little piece of heaven

Beautiful little cottage. Very comfortable and all the necessary tools and equipment to make our stay enjoyable. Fabulous surroundings and easy access to motorways etc. for venturing further afield. Lots of information left in the cottage with times, contact numbers for various amenities i.e. doctors, vets, dentist shops etc. If you want to escape the rat race and have peace and quiet this is the place for you.

Lovely cottage

Delightful stay in a peaceful location. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with everything you could need plus some very nice, unexpected extras from the owners. Totally recommend if you like being in a quiet area. Close to lots of places and only a short drive to coastal areas.

Beautiful Cottage

What a wonderful cottage, the place was spotlessly clean! When you walked in through the door, the cottage seemed to welcome you, it felt like a home! Everything you needed was there, the bathroom has a excellent shower, & the bedrooms are nice and comfortable too! Safe off the road parking. All set in a beautiful hamlet. The owners are helpful & very nice. Ian & Rhoda

An ideal get away

We enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage is very nice and was the ideal base for day trips around the area, the little river down the road was nice to cool down the feet after a day exploring Denbighshire. The Co Op in St Asaph had all we needed. The only down side was that the lovely chiming clock kept Hubby awake as he is a light sleeper and it's chiming every 30 minutes was not for him, little one and I slept through it though. Neighbours were very friendly and helpful. Communication with Gwenda and David was easy and effective. Thanks for making us feel welcome and letting us stay there.

The charming River Cottage in the beautiful area.

We travelled from the South, 4 hours on the car. We were tired. We got on the narrow dark roads in Wales, it was dusking. In the shadow of the Moon we have found the cottage. What a welcome It was! Indeed! A lovely neighbour offering help if needed. Inside the cottage small Welsh gifts to make us feel like at home. All so clean and on the right places. And the flowers in the vase. All our tiredness was gone. We were home. We slept very well, it took us few days to appreciate the birds singing at the dawning. Thank you for sharing with us the charm of Wales, its beauty and mystery. We will be back here again and again. The cottage is beautiful.

Lovely cottage

Lovely charming cottage, very clean with very good facilities, even a dish washer and WiFi. All we needed provided. Dave and Gwenda are very quick at responding to any questions. A good base to visit the attractions and explore North Wales. Only 10 minutes from St Asaph for shopping at the co op and the plough pub if you don’t want to cook. Very nice food and good service. Thanks for a great holiday.

Highs and lows

Absolutely beautiful country side, every lane lovely and quiet. The cottage not so, barking dog next door at 5.45 to 6.30am most mornings, was not clear in the listing there was no back garden, to say the place was pet friendly.Very bad WiFi. Would not stream very good. Felt damp rather cold. Lovely bathroom.beds very comfy. few unclean areas.and a bit of a strange smell in the air Would not stay again in the cottage But would stay again in the area This is to be helpful not fault finding

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, compact but very well equipped cottage. It was super clean and all the kitchen equipment seemed brand new. Our dog loved the bed under the stairs. We were blessed with good weather so made plenty of use of the little terrace at the front to sit and eat outside. Communication with the owners was fantastic and they were quick to respond to a small query we had during our stay. The cottage is well placed for visiting a wide range of interesting places throughout North Wales. Overall we would highly recommend it as a lovely place to stay.

Perfect!

Lovely cottage in an ideal location to explore North Wales. Cottage was clean, comfortable and kitted out with everything we needed. Great communication with the owners who provided us with all the information we required. Have returned home chilled and recharged!

Set in the idyllic surroundings of the Elwy River Valley, this lovely cottage has everything you need for a peaceful break: there is a timeless feel about the whole place. The cottage itself has a serenity and old-world charm; and everything is done to make visitors feel warm and welcome.
