CaveB Lake House - come for concerts, or a relaxing get away in the sunshine

This unique get-away is located above the vineyards of CaveB and is a 10 minute walk to the world famous Gorge Amphitheatre. The CaveB Lake House is backing a man-made lake, amongst desert landscape, and perched above the winery and Columbia River Gorge, and offers sweeping views and 300 days of sunshine per year.

This 1200 square foot two bedroom, two bath home sleeps 6 comfortably, with king sized beds in both bedrooms, and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The house has a full sized kitchen with gas stove top and oven, custom wine rack, and a BBQ on the back deck and everything needed to entertain, or stay in.

The house has an oversized slider off the front and offers overhead heaters and a firepit on cool evenings and a priceless view of the Columbia River Gorge. The house backs a private community lake, that is a perfect view for for relaxing- that is, if you aren't hiking, mountain biking or enjoying one of the best concert venues in the nation.

Perfect Concert Location

We went to a concert at the Gorge and the home is a perfect place to stay, especially with children. The location and home were beautiful and matched the description in the ad. It was surprising to be able to hear the sound check so clearly from the concert venue. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house on Cave B vineyard

Wonderful house with all the amenities on the cutest lake and beautiful vineyard. Great views from every direction. This house is spacious. Great location. Clean. Loved all the walking and trails. Getting in the hot tub after our walks was so nice! Wine tasting is a few steps away! We will definitely be back.

Amazing modern home with a view

This house was the perfect place for our group to call home for an amazing weekend of music at The Gorge Amphitheatre. The place was immaculate (including the hot tub), tastefully decorated, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Out one side of the home was a view of the lake and out the other side were endless views of the Gorge. We’re already thinking about booking again for next year!

Relaxing oasis

The property was a relaxing oasis. Beautiful view of the man made lake. Cozy fireplace and overall comfy furniture and beds. Hot tub was a bonus! We used it every night and could see a million stars! Tranquil environment we would 100% come back to. Thank you! Natalie and garret

We loved everything about this house! Walking distance to the amphitheater was a highlight, but the modern architectural design was a delight. It was comfortable in all ways!

Awesome property and owners

Overall a great experience, hence the 5 star. There was one major issue during our stay, the owners tried to address and when they couldn't; they made it right by us. That was appreciated. The location is very peaceful and a good "get away from everything". Please keep in mind limited dining options and plan accordingly, also there is construction in the area but it didn't bother at all during weekend.

Good tunes and good times

Fantastic place, great amenities, easy walk to winery, trails and of course the Gorge. Definitely construction around the lake but we were informed beforehand. Didn’t really take away from the experience. It’ll be really nice once it’s all complete. Definitely plan on returning for another show one day.

Relaxing getaway for our family

Our family stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our time here! The home is beautiful and very comfortable. There was some construction going on but didn’t bother us much. We spent the day relaxing in the back of the house, paddle boarding on the man made lake while our young kids played in the sand and shallow water. It was wonderful! We visited the winery which is super close and that was a fun relaxing experience. The views from the home are beautiful, especially at sunset! The new hot tub was a bonus and a lovely way to end the night with a glass of wine. The owners were great communicators and super responsive to an issue we had. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo is really cool. Relaxing. No one was really around mid week.

We really love the area and we were excited to stay at the condo. Mid week was so quiet, felt like no one was around other than construction workers. The heating system wasn’t easy to deal with as we wanted the temp to be lower than the set 72 degrees. Otherwise this place is super cool! Get it “cool” 😉

Perfect getaway

What a great property. We really enjoyed our stay. Place is clean and very well stocked, especially the kitchen. One of the best VBRO kitchens I have cooked in. Check in/out very easy and owner’s communication was great! We will be back.

Fabulous getaway for the whole family...

The CaveB Lake house is a special place with something for everyone. This home is brand new and well appointed with all the necessities. The owners have done a wonderful job creating a "farmhouse meets industrial" feel, which is both cozy and modern. The beds are so comfortable and the pull-out couch was perfect for my teen son, but we all took turns curling up on the day bed each day, which was a coveted spot. The kids had a blast just floating the afternoons away on the man-made lake, while I was able to work or just read a book. We utilized the kitchen for most meals, but also traveled into Quincy for pizza one night. The owners were readily available to answer any questions and we really appreciated the lovely gift basket upon our arrival. We will be back!
