Donner Lake Charmer - West End Stone Cabin

Very cozy and clean. Loved the squirrel theme throughout. Excellent location for skiing Sugar Bowl. Pub down the street was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay here for a week on feb.

The squirrel’s nest is perfect for a ski week getaway. Well stocked with everything. Only thing we missed was a dishwasher but that was a minor inconvenience.

This is the perfect warm and cozy, winter getaway that is equipped with every amenity you would need, games and fully equipped kitchen. Mary, the owner, is gracious and quick to respond to questions and concerns. The place is across the street from Donner Lake, though there is no access to the lake due to fencing. Snowshoe trails about 1/2 mile west on the old highway were spectacular, and our German Shepherd’s first trip to the snow was a great success.

This place was perfect for my family of four! The location was great for skiing at Sugar Bowl. The kids loved playing in the snow and the cabin had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Cabin was perfect for a weekend get-a-way. Close to skiing and other activities. It's well stocked, clean, and cozy. It was the perfect size for our family of three. We hope to come back again next year.
