Hidden Gem

I didn't want to leave. The house was just perfect for my friends and family to enjoy our ski trip to Big Sky. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen with everything needed to prepare big meals. The property was amazing and we had daily and nightly visits from a variety of wildlife. It is apparent that the owners use this house and it isn't just an investment. They take pride in it and I am thankful they were willing to share it.

Perfect Ski Getaway

Absolutely beautiful house and property with unbeatable proximity to Big Sky Resort! This is one of the few houses that can truely accomadate a large number of people. The kitchen had everything we needed, there was ample seating and space to spread out. The hot tub was perfectly maintained and east to operate. Even the wildlife sightings did not disappoint! The host provided all the information we needed ahead of time and was very responsive to questions. I hope to stay here again!!

Beautiful home

Lovely home in Big Sky with plenty of space for everyone. Friendly owner. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the pool table. Hot tub worked great! Can’t wait to return!

Perfect Mountain Christmas

This property was the best equipped of any VRBO we have ever seen. From wrapping paper for Christmas gifts to bear mace for hiking, if we needed ANYTHING we were able to find it! My neice and nephew found sleds, our boys enjoyed the pool table and hot tub, and I appreciated the curling iron when I forgot my own. We cooked for a group of 10-12 nightly and had zero issues in the kitchen or with seating everyone around the table. Christmas morning opening gifts with the mountain backdrop and snow falling just outside the window will leave us with memories to last a lifetime.Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I have rented VRBO all over the US This most comfortable I have ever stayed at. Located close to white water rafting ATV rental and Yellowstone. Also many restaurants and the farmers Market. Caught. Fish everyday in backyard with no guide. House pantry well stocked. Hot tub immaculate. Could not believe all expectations were exceeded.

The home was beautiful and very spacious. There was plenty of room for our family. The view of the backyard very pretty and we were always looking for wildlife. We used the pool table and hot tub a lot since we had kids in our group. We all agreed that the beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept in. The house was very clean. The men in our group had a great time fishing in the river every day. It was a wonderful place to stay!

Family Ski Trip

Wonderful stay at Moose Landing for 9 adults and 1 infant! (Thanks for having a pack n play available for use.) Comfortable surroundings in living spaces and bedrooms. Family took advantage of both the sauna and the hot tub. Kitchen and pantry were amazing, stocked with pretty much anything one might need! Enjoyed our walks to the scenic river and across the street to Cafe 191! (Check out Cabin Consignments while over there.) Use of the heated garages to store our ski gear was an added bonus. Perfect location as it was a short drive up the mountain to the slopes!

Fly Fisherman’s Paradise

What an amazing property and home for a week long fly fishing trip. We had a couple of minor issues and Amy the property manager had them resolved super fast. The location was perfect for us to be able to fish the Madison and Yellowstone rivers, hike and fish Yellowstone National Park, and of course, the Gallatin right out back which provided us plenty of quality trout fishing. In addition to a few deer on the property we got to see a black bear that was interested in the garbage cans out front and peacefully wandered off as we pulled into the driveway one night. The house is also in a great location close to Big Sky and had cell coverage and good Wi-Fi to stay connected to work and home while still feeling like you were enjoying nature at its finest out back and in the river. Can’t wait to come back in the future.

July 2023 Moose Landing

Our yearly BS family summer trip was at Moose Landing this year. Out of all the places we have rented in the BS area, ML was our favourite. While the house is nice, having the space to move around, plenty of parking, 2 car garage and access to the Gallatin are what put it over the top for me. Great spot!

Amazing ski week and stay at Moose Landing

Moose Landing was everything we hoped it would be. A lovely, large house with plenty of room for the 9 adults in our party, as well as another group of 5 friends who joined us for a big dinner. We loved the large and comfortable living and dining rooms, the well-appointed kitchen, the game room and the fantastic views of the cliffs overhanging the Gallatin River. As promised, we saw wildlife (elks, muskrat) every day. The location was perfect, close to the services in Big Sky, and an easy drive to/from the Bozeman airport.

Moose Landing Big Sky MT

Amazing experience. The house was aboslutley beautiful. WE did not want for anything as the house had every ammenity you could think of....even more than I have at home. Property was beautiful and we even saw a moose in the backyard the second morning. You can imagine my delight. It was conveniently located to the ski slopes and great dining options within a couple of miles. Nearby shopping and grocery were an added convenience. It was one of my favorite vacations ever.

Great place for groups

We had a magnificent stay over the week of New Years. While we didn't get to experience the elusive moose in the back yard we did see plenty of wildlife on a short jaunt to Yellowstone. Took advantage of skiing and plenty of downtime in the hot tub. The house is so well stocked with all the kitchen stuff you could need as well and plenty of towels and paper products. The beds are very comfy too. Would highly recommended this place!!

The house is very well stocked and clean. Hot tub also was clean and functional. The house is very private, and we saw many elk hanging out in the back of the property!

This is a very nice place with lots of room to spread out. We would do it again and recommend it to others. We thought the road noise might be an issue but it wasn’t. There were some relatively minor maintenance issues that I pointed out to the manager in a separate email after our stay. Not complaining but if the manager doesn’t know, they can’t address it.

Fun Family House!

It was a great place for our family to stay. We had two toddlers, a preschooler and adults for a total of 10 people. My only suggestion would be some more (and better) outdoor furniture - what is there is not in great shape and pretty uncomfortable.

Moose landing stay

Although we expected better fishing at the house, we loved the location, the amenities, and the responsiveness of the property manager and the owner. Great location in relation to Big Sky, Bozeman, Yellowstone, fishing, … Great memories for the family and our friends!!
