Ven a disfrutar de nuestro alquiler de vacaciones! Todo nuevo en 2017. Estamos en un gran vecindario, cerca del esquí y ciclismo de Duluth's Spirit Mountain, el distrito minorista y muchas cosas que hacer y ver. El apartamento tiene una gran sala de estar, gran terraza, cocina completa, baño completo y dos habitaciones separadas.

Esta es la unidad superior del edificio. Como tal, este no es un espacio apropiado para cualquier persona con niños pequeños que corran, ya que perjudicaría la experiencia para los invitados a continuación.

Este es un espacio fantástico en un vecindario seguro que está cerca de todo. Todo está reformado y en perfecto estado en este apartamento, espacio de vacaciones.

All was very nicely stocked, clean and bright. Kitchen appliances in good working condition . Bed comfortable. Homey and welcoming. First snow we have seen since 2010. Beautiful from our inside view....comfy for our thanksgiving .thank you

It was fabulous! Everything was very well stocked. Lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, TP, paper towels, tinfoil, plastic wrap bath towels, etc. Nice clean place. Would stay here again.

Overall property was ok. Stairs leading to 2nd floor entrance on deck felt like they were loose from structure and unsafe. A lot of bounce just walking on them. Had a great time in Duluth, property close to everywhere we went.

Property was well described and clean. Updates that have been completed are nice. Owner has indicated that updates are ongoing. The people renting for the weekend below us had small children, so there was some noise, but we understand that can't be helped and have not based our review on that. We were in the area for a wedding.

Nice break in Hermantown

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hermantown house . We stayed on 2nd floor, and everything was clean and comfortable. I like the neighborhood; it was nice to walk in the morning and evening with some birds and flowers. There was a pond nearby with a pair of trumpeter swans and their cygnets. We used the kitchen every day and it had what we needed to make our meals. Thank you!

Cute place! I liked that it was right off the highway, but you don’t feel like you are off the highway. The neighborhood was very quiet and secluded. Communication with the host was great! The only slight disappointment we had was the state of the deck and there was no patio furniture other than a picnic table. The reason we chose this place was to sit outside in the evenings. Even with that though, I would stay again!

Beautifully decorated, but lots of strict rules and unexpected VRBO on lower level

The place was very nicely decorated, extremely clean, and larger than we had anticipated, but there are a lot of very strict rules, with charges associated with them. Instead of getting a nice welcome, it felt like a laundry list of everything we should not do. It was stated this was due to the few bad apples, but why rotten the entire experience for others. In addition, it's extremely important to know you WILL be SHARING the home with other VRBO guests, not what we expected from a VRBO, nor did the guest on the bottom level know. They rent out both the top and bottom floors. The owner will not give you important information until midnight the day prior, which caused us some anxiety wondering if we would get access or not. Again, not very welcoming. I think this can be a very nice property if the owner would be more transparent, offer a more welcoming tone in communications, and respond to inquiries prior to guest stay. Other minor items-home needs tupperware/disposable or plastic bags at a minimum. A grill would also be a nice touch.

Country get away

My husband , son and I felt it was too warm and couldn’t lower the heat. We are an hour behind and not sure why we had to wait until the owner went to bed before giving us the code to get the key. So it was one am before I got it. I had explained I don’t have data on my cell so wanted everything organized before bed. A little late for me but that was the only glitch. I do think there should be a gate on the deck by the door as coming in in the dark didn’t realize there was steps there Otherwise very nice stay. Thanks

Great repeat stay

This is my second stay at this property. It is clear, cozy, and very comfortable. I love the quiet neighborhood as well. Looking forward to renting again sometime!

Perfect home base for Duluth/North Shore adventure.

I came up to the Duluth area with my parents for a photography trip to Sax-Zim Bog and the North Shore and wanted accommodations that were conveniently located for travel in those directions. This house is in a spot close to I-35 and Hwy 53 and only minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores (important for our stay). The property was very clean, well stocked, and quite comfortable for the three of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there - so much better than staying in a hotel. All the important details about the property (wi-if, parking, trash collection, snow removal, etc.) were provided in a handy guidebook along with a ton of helpful info about the area. If we come up for another trip I would absolutely seek out this property again. Highly recommended!

Base for Duluth/SZB

Clean property, with rural feel, as listed. Great windows for indoor bird watching! I was aware that this was an upstairs apartment and we'd have to be mindful of lower level renters, but "Quiet Hours" were listed in the apartment rule book as 10 pm to 8 am. We had to get ready to go to the bog in the pre-dawn hours, so we crept around like mice. Would stay again though, since it was a good value for the area.

Beautiful Apartment and Setting

This property was super clean, which is the most important thing. Easy check-in. Very high quality furniture, appliances, bedding, and towels. Many personal touches and amenities, like a nook by the fireplace to hang your coat and hat. Some interesting books to read and puzzles were available. So glad for a non-Keurig coffee maker and nice to find coffee at the ready. The utensils and supplies you would need for cooking were there, and the kitchen was such a nice size, with room to move and a good layout. The bed would be approved by Goldilocks; not too hard, not too soft, just right! The owners' color choices for decor were lovely and restful, and we appreciated the notebook with clear check-out information, recommendations, etc. The views from the windows and deck were lovely - hermit thrushes and chickadees were abundant in the wildflowers nearby during the day. And we could see the stars at night as we had hoped. We thought it would be awesome to come back with friends who would stay in the bottom apartment, especially after construction on a nearby house has been completed. (I thought it was a bit noisy in the living room, but the bedrooms were quiet). I could hear the people under us at normal speaking volumes (we live in an apartment and headphones come in handy here). There was one window shade that didn't work. Overall, I would especially recommend the apartment for the quality and thoughtfulness of the interior and beauty of the exterior.

Hermantown VRBO Review

The place was clean, quiet and had all the amenities that you’d want for an out-of-state visit. The owners were responsive when we asked questions. We’d book this place again when we are visiting the area next. It was perfect for our needs.

We fell in love with the vaulted ceilings, solid maple floors which we learned were salvage from a nearby highschool and the amazing nature views out the 4 large picture windows in the livingroom
