Was a great place for my family, there were 26 of us that came at night for family fun.13 of us actually stayed at the house. Plenty of room and lots to do. Dee the host was awesome!!! Would recommed 100%.

This is a wonderful, exciting place to stay. Plenty of games to keep the entire family interacting and off electronic devices. Plenty of room for a large family gathering. Book your stay, you won't be disappointed.

Loved it

Perfect place for a gathering! The property is peaceful and stunning. We spent most of our time by the pool but enjoyed snacks at the massive kitchen island and got cozy on the couch. I look forward to staying here again.

Relaxing Family Trip

Such a wonderful, relaxing time with our family. We had people ranging in age from upper 80's to 8 months, toddlers and teenagers. There was so much to do in the area and at the house that everyone had a great vacation.

Great weekend

We had a great time. There was plenty of room around the property and in the common areas for everyone. The kids enjoyed feeding the horses, swimming and the game room. The patio was great.

Great place for families

Cody's Ranch is so much fun! Amazing place for a group. We had a graduation party for a college group and also had children from 7 months to 12 years old. All had so much fun. Definitely a place we will come back to!

Annual Family Vacation

Everyone had a wonderful stay, and was very relaxed. We all enjoyed the outside area, the kitchen was so spacious so we could all get to everything we needed. The living room trended to get a little hot, but we also recognized the awful heat wave probably contributed to it. Overall a great stay and time held by all.

Very great location

This was the first celebration without my father in law. We celebrated my son’s 15th birthday with family and friends. The home was spacious and an amazing location. Thank you so much for allowing us to utilize the facility.

21st Birthday Celebration

Our experience at Cody's was amazing and fun for my sons 21st b-day with his friends. Loved the Texas theme decorations and all the outdoor art. All the game tables kept us entertained as well as the horses. Dee was very responsive to my needs during our stay. Very large home and nicely furnished. Such a beautiful place! I have recommended this place to many. I look forward to another stay.

Great place

There was a group of 16 of us. The house was fantastic. Super large kitchen and plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The pool and the back area was amazing the only complaint was wish the strands of lights worked on the out side lots of strands were burned out or not working so could not use the covered area outside once it got dark. All in all it was a fantastic place.

Amazing property

We just spent destination birthday at Cody’s Ranch. We had the most amazing time, the property is stunning! We had a mix of ages ranging from 3-adult. We weathered a quick storm and still had plenty to do. The game room was instant entertainment for all but really the outside area is top notch! From the pool to the hot tub, the ping pong table, foosball and of course the horses! It was a perfect place for an amazing weekend! The property manager was awesome and answered any questions I had all weekend. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to book again :)

Family Graduation

We had 14 people staying at the house. We needed 3 cots which was fine. The outdoor area was perfect and everyone loved seeing the horses on the property. We also saw some longhorns and deer behind the fenced area. That was really cool. We had one issue and that was fact there was no hand soap anywhere. That was very inconvenient especially when we first arrived and were trying to settle in. Other than that it was a great place!!

Beautiful pool and outdoor area!

The house had plenty room for our group of 12. The beautiful pool was the place to be in the extreme heat and the grandkids loved it! We spent the majority of time on the huge back deck area, which has ceiling fans, and the outside access to the gameroom half bath was a bonus. We had a few issues but Dee was very responsive and attentive. There is someone who either lives in the RV, behind a privacy fence, or comes to feed the horses. They were never a bother and rarely seen. It just caught us offguard the first time we saw them on the property. I would love to return some day.

So much fun!

I booked this place for me and 19 other ladies to stay for my sisters bachelorette party. The back patio and pool and hot tub were so awesome and fun. The main room with the three beds was so big. The girl that slept on the main twin bed said it was the best sleep she’s had in awhile. There was a lot of us so I took a shower in the outdoor shower and it was so nice and peaceful. The island in the kitchen was huge and great to have. There were two fridges/freezers which we really needed. There were minor problems and questions but I messaged the host and she responded and helped me fix them(answer them right away. Dee was amazing and very responsive. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Time

We had a blast. Spending time with family is a blessing. Only concern. Change out fly traps, dust ceiling fans and light fixtures, clean out top oven, when we turned it on, smoke was everywhere. It needs a few upgrades, replace the sliding door that leads to the back, replace the electric cord for the lights out on the back deck, replace the football table next to the ping pong table. Get rid of the pool toys that are old and worn down. Too many notes everywhere. Also, don't assume we know how to run the washer and dryer. Again, we had a blast. My family is simple. We made it work. Blessings

Disappointing beginning, otherwise ok

Was not able to get hold of property manager when we arrived to find house locked up and no code to get in. We waited several hours, in 100+ weather, before getting a response. The house has issues that need to be addressed such as dirty kitchen utensils, smoking oven, broken cots, broken drawers in ice box, scorpions, ants and roaches...not to mention the FLIES. The flies made it impossible to have any meals/food outside or just to sit outside without having to swat flies the whole time. We actually had to kill flies in the house from morning until late night. The first night was hot in the two smaller bedrooms until the host adjusted the thermostat remotely. Thankfully we brought fans with us. So was it all bad? No. We did enjoy the pool and outdoor space in the late evening and nighttime when the flies settled and the wind picked up. Kids enjoyed the game room. There was plenty of space to gather when the cots were not put up. The location was nice and close to other entertainment areas. Would we rent this house again? Probably not.

There’s good and bad

Communication with property manager was very responsive up until the day we checked in. We unfortunately didn’t receive the code to enter the house for a couple hours after check in time and were unable to reach anyone. The house itself provided a lot of enjoyment due to the space, wonderful pool, hot tub, game tables, etc. All of us spent most of our time outside and absolutely loved it. Plenty of seating and areas to relax. The horses were unique and definitely a hit with the kids. However, the house lacked a lot of basics normally found at a rental such as wash cloths/hand towels, kitchen utensils (we were a group of 12), there were no additional blankets for the rollout cots which the kids were on. The bedrooms could use a thorough cleaning as well as all the kitchen supplies. There were dishes from the previous renters left in the dishwasher and food in the fridge as well. Everything was really doable except 2 of 3 the bedrooms were really hot and uncomfortable at night. That made many of us wish we had chosen another house with the same amenities. As for location we didn’t mind being outside of main city for the privacy and space. It was about 15 min to the grocery store. Again the house provided a lot of great features and with some changes it could be a really great vacation rental.

Its only 10-15 miles from all the restaurants, shopping, rivers for toobing and rafting, Canyon Lake, Wimberley market days , Schlitterbahn water park, Historic Gruene Tx and the oldest dance hall in Texas and yet you feel like you are in the country inside a gated six acre retreat where no city lights limit the amazing star viewing at night, the gentle breezes and the interactions with the horse family on the property.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Families and friends are able to interact and cook together saving a lot of cost eating out for every meal.... there is something to entertain all ages and a huge deck for outdoor enjoyment, cook outs, the gameroom and of course the pool and hot tub. We have beds to sleep 21 people with floor space for air mattresses if needed for more.
