Cómoda casa de campo en un lugar impresionante.

1 Tullochclury es una casa adosada (propietarios de al lado), situada a media milla por un camino forestal con caminatas, ciclismo y ciclismo de montaña desde la puerta principal!
Esta propiedad está en una posición ideal para hacer turismo por las Highlands Inverness con 12 minutos en coche, y el Parque Nacional de Cairngorm a pocos minutos.
La zona es perfecta para la vida silvestre con muchas especies de aves, así como las ardillas rojas que visitan el alimentador jardín. Si usted camina 300 yardas a lo largo de la pista se llega a la hermosa Moy Loch donde se puede tener diversión manchas nutrias y águilas pescadoras que compiten por la trucha.
La casa es cálido y acogedor, con calefacción central y una estufa de leña (leña incluida) y así se siente cómodo en cualquier época del año. Hay un cuarto de baño (con ducha sobre la bañera), así como un cuarto húmedo (sólo ducha)

An excellent place to stay from the cleanliness, the location, and general presentation of the property, let alone the occupants of the wood displaying in the garden every day! Very well hosted by Jon & Diana and their care for our wellbeing couldn't have been greater. Our only complaint, ... the double beds could be wider, but on the other hand, very good for close relationships!

Rest, walks and day trips in the Highlands

The home was comfortable, gracious and a perfect setting for quiet time, long walks and day trips to highlights of the Highlands. We visited Loch Ness, Dunrobin castle, Inverness and Aviemore, but also enjoyed the fields and trails available right out the front door. A lovely home ina locely spot.

The perfect holiday house in the highlands!We had the most wonderful stay at Tullochclury and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings meant we slept better than we have in months!One of the highlights was the location. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place has it all.The hosts Diana and Jon were also outstanding: friendly, responsive and always available if we needed anything!Thanks again Diana and Jon for our very good holiday!

Great location for family vacation

This was our first trip to Scotland and we had our 4 boys along for the adventure. House was perfect and made for a great central location for our planned day trips. John and Di are excellent hosts!

Perfect Stay

The home was just as lovely as its description. Maybe even better. The hosts were welcoming and so sweet. Meeting our arrival with a welcome spread that was delicious, extra books to read and a fishing pole for our son who loves to fish. The house was very clean, which is important to us. The location was stunning and not too far from eating and shops in Inverness. Would definitely stay here again.

Dream Holiday

John and Di’s home in Loch Moy was the definition of a dream. The location is very central to many highlands landmarks and the home is the coziest long stay we have ever experienced. Our stay was peaceful and euphoric - between the wonderful views of the wee lambs and the beautiful landscape, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. John and Di are also a beyond lovely couple, they are kind and generous with their time (as we are yappers) and shared some great tips with us! The house is located on great walking trails dotted with so much unique flora and trees that we spent most of our days at the house in the brush, identifying flowers. We absolutely loved our time at John and Di’s and cannot wait to plan our next stay if they will have us! Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts.

Lovely cottage at all

This cottage is better than the photos promise. Clean. well equipped, almost a Wild Life Zoo at the house with the birds, cows, birds, squirrels, pine Martins, sheep……wonderful place to stay next door to lovely and helpful John and Di!

Very lovely cottage and lots of things to see around

If you love to be in the nature and to calm down - than this is a lovely place to watch wildlife (deers, squirrel, birds,.. ) and lots of sheeps with their baby lambs. The highlands with lots of possibilities are nearby, but also Inverness and the isles in the north. The owners John and Diana gave us a very warm welcome. Thank you very much!

Lovely home in nature

The home exceeded our expectations. It was so well equipped and in a lovely natural setting. The bed rooms were comfortable and perfect for our group. We were able to easily cook in the kitchen and the dish washer made clean up easy. My elderly mom enjoyed being able to sit in the sunny dinning room and enjoy the birds, squirrels and even a pine Martin in the back garden. We went for walks to the loch and watched the sheep and bunny’s in the field. The home is close to so many interesting sites. We went to Loch Ness, Culloden Moore, Cairngorm National park, Inverness. John was a friendly and host and made the stay very pleasant. I highly recommend this home and area for a visit.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

I took months looking and thinking about where I wanted to stay. I saw maybe 30 that I thought might work. A short time before leaving I sat down and looked at all of them again and this one spoke to me as a top choice. I told myself "I am going to say yes and fill out the forms and if it comes back to me as available I am taking it" It came back a yes, and I could tell it was going to be good from the way the owner wrote back. Upon arriving, it was everything and more I could have wanted. We all loved every minute there. PS We are very seasoned travelers.

Fantastic Property

This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is an ideal base for the highlands. Inverness is 20-minutes away, which gives you access to Loch Ness and the Black Isle. You also have easy access to Speyside and the Cairngorms. There is so much to see around here. The house has everything you can possibly need. It is immaculate inside and Jon was incredibly friendly, making sure everything was fine for us. We will return to this house. We had an amazing time. It is a place that would be ideal to relax, but similarly is a base to do lots of exploring and then relax in the evening, watching the clouds go by and the colours changing as the sun sets.

Our Fabulous Highland Holiday

Arriving at Tullochclury we were greeted by wonderful Jon who kindly explained the ins-and-outs of the property to us (heating, Wi-Fi, the all important nuts for feeding the amazing wildlife in the back garden!). The property is spotless, wonderfully furnished and of a very good size. We thoroughly enjoyed curling up on the sofa after having lit the wood burner, and watching the red squirrels, chaffinches & pheasants in the rear garden. The house is in the perfect location, just far enough away from the A9 to enjoy that feeling of isolation but just close enough to enable easy access to all the amazing things you can enjoy in the area. We thoroughly recommend Urquhart's Restaurant in Inverness; a walk around Loch an Eilein; dinner at Muckrach Country House Hotel (as recommended by Jon, so a big thank you Jon!); river tubing with the Rothiemurchus guys and Chanonry Point for some dolphin watching. There's so much to do in the area it's crazy. We'd like to return and enjoy a distillery tour, the Strathspey steam railway, Fort George & kayaking on Loch Morlich for a start. Jon & Di are both wonderful, warm & caring hosts who furnished us with information about the many different activities available in the area, and who were always very helpful with any queries we had (including where the local Osprey might appear at nearby Loch Moy... and we saw one!). Ace holiday. Thank you Jon and Di. :)

Lovely house near Inverness

The house was new and clean. It has a wonderful and well equiped kitchen, a nice living room with fireplace, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. John and Diana live next door and you can count on them if you have any problem. The house is placed in the country, in a very peaceful area with no pubs, restaurants or supermarkets nearby, but the main road to Inverness is very close and you can get there in 15 minutes. We all loved the house, it was perfect and everything seemed new. Our stay there was comfortable and we had a great time!

Inmejorable, muy bien en todos los aspectos

No se por donde empezar. Si hablamos del entorno, la casa está en medio de una granja, con rios, animales, campo, bosques, muy cerca de la autovia. Ya si hablamos de la casa, no hay palabras, todo es maravilloso, comodo, la decoración es exquisita. Baste como ejemplo que cada día nos costaba trabajo salir para hacer turismo, y estabamos deseando volver. Los dueños, tanto Jon, como su esposa, lo tienen puesto todo para que la estancia en su casa sea lo mas acojedora posible. Están al lado, pero no agobian. Son encantadores. Estamos pensando en la posibilidad de volvar, pero con mucho mas tiempo, un mes.
