This was our second time staying at this unit and we were very pleased with it and will probably be renting the same unit next year.

Disappointing - not as advertised

No channels/cable on LR/Master TV as advertised. Cockroaches - PM staff never called back. Kitchen items not sufficient - owner brought nice items end of 1st week. PM stated charred food on pots and pans not their responsibility. Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work off and on. Fridge handle dirty. White door frames dirty. Bottom K cabinet doors dirty. We did a lot of cleaning. Pics taken of above. Maintenance did fix non working smoke detector, broken towel rack and brought bath tub plug.

Boat docking

It’s advertised to include boat park as first come first serve but we weren’t even told that the launch was inexcusable and they did not inform us at all. We found out when we got there by a tenant that lives there! I tried getting in contact with the rental company and still haven’t heard from anyone on this!

Nice place for a boat owner

Great location. A great place to keep your boat in the water. There is trailer parking too. People living there were very neighborly. Management only responds when it benefits them. Required me to be there on the move in day for the cable company to come without any notice. When I requested clarification for boat docking, I was told to read what was sent to me. They did respond after I explained I would not be asking if I did not have further questions. I asked that I receive notification of my check out was received. I heard nothing. Overall it’s a great place on the bay. I would stay there again!!!

Needs better management

My family and I have been staying at Bayview for several years because of its great location for boating. This was our first year in this unit and I was so very disappointed. The most disturbing problem was the clogged toilet in the guest bath that was present from the very first day we arrived. We plunged it many, many times without success. It was so bad that the water from the toilet actually ended up on the floor. I called the rental company, Gulf Sands, but was told because we had a second working toilet, so they would not be sending anyone until the next day. No one called or showed the following day, so I called again the following evening and was told they would call for a plumber and have someone get back to me, but this never happened. Luckily, we were checking out the following morning. The condo has not been well cleaned in some time. There was old food underneath the couch, large brown stains on the sheets in the pullout couch and cobwebs on the kitchen lighting over the bar. There is MINIMAL kitchenware in the condo making nightly meal prep very difficult. The checkin process is also rather inconvenient. Rather than emailing all the information needed to check in, renters are required to go 15 min away to pick up a “check in” packet that consisted of a parking pass and check out info. In previous years, this information was emailed and we were able to go straight to the room upon arrival. I hope that the owners of this property are aware of how their rental is being poorly managed and can make some corrections for the next renters.

Great location, but needs better cleaning

The condo is in a great location and overall very cute, but they don't deep clean it well. The HVAC air intake and fans were absolutely caked in dust, like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We found trash, dried old food and random clothes laying around. Caked stickiness/dried food under the placemats on the table. Stains on the sofa. I don't think they vacuumed the rug at all. The dryer makes a very loud buzz when the cycle's done (startled us! LOL) and only works on the timed setting (not the dry-type setting) The "master" bed was comfortable. The secondary bed was hard as a rock. Not enough blankets. There's an electrical outlet cover missing on the porch - be vigilant with littles. They only give you 1 roll of toliet paper per bathroom, so be sure to bring some if you're staying more than a couple days! If you plan to have someone sleep on the sofa, just know that the curtains don't cover the light and be sure to bring extra blankets. They havent updated any of their info/booklets in the condo and communication was very poor overall . The check-in process was like 20 min away (why? - it was paperwork in a box, they could've emailed it to us.). Check in at 4p and check out at 10a. 2 flights of stairs to get up to the condo. We didn't play at the pool, but it looked nice. Overall, we were super grateful for the area and the 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The deck, washer/dryer, fridge and microwave were definitely nice to have. :) *No, we didn't ask them to re-clean. We only stayed the weekend and didn't want to spend time or worry on coordinating cleaning people, etc.

Love Bayview

We love Bayview. We stay here several times a year. Was disappointed the launch is still not open - Docks are not as important as the actual launch. The unit itself was great. Having to go offsite to pickup "a packet" that includes a door code and instructions (that could be emailed) is inconvenient for ANYONE pulling a boat. Will not rent this unit anymore or ANY that requires me to go offsite to pickup a piece of paper.

Great stay- check in could have been emailed

Great location, close to everything. Loved the place, had no issues but having to go pick up the code for the door. I flew in to Pensacola and had pass the condo and go out of the way to pick up the package, with a code. Would have been nice to have had it emailed.

Overall good experience, pullout couch was not in the greatest of shape. Screen door needed fixing. Great pool and pier. Nice location and very family friendly. Would certainly stay there again.

Love Bayview

Nice condo! We had a great stay! The only down side was that there was only one small frying pan. Also, it has a keypad to get in the condo, but they make you go in to Gulf Shores to get a piece of paper with the info, instead of just texting it to you. That makes for a hassle.

Flash trip to beach

The property is nice just minutes from the beach. Love this area go there often. Property managers were readily available and made check in and out easy and safe.

Great location

Great location to resturants, beach stores, and abt 30 min to NAS Pensacola. We did not use the kitchen so not sure about how it was stocked with the needed pans etc.... beds were comfortable, did not use the pillows brought our own. AC was cold, amd couch was comfortable for what little time we stayed there. We would come back again.

Beach Stay

Nice property. Nice area, beachy decor. Beds very uncomfortable but place was clean and well stocked except for paper essentials.. We were visiting from another state so for folks like us that can't bring the paper stuff with them I would recommend you include enough toilet paper, paper towels, and especially garbage bags instead of enough for one night since those items don't come in small quantities at the grocery store.
