En un edificio histórico, el apartamento Dimora Borghese está ubicado en el primer piso, construido completamente con el mejor mármol de Carrara, finamente amueblado y equipado con todas las comodidades. A not luxorious apartment in Rome

The apartment in Rome was a total disaster. I have never stayed in such a dirty apartment. The bathrooms were with mould, the kitchen could not be used. There were Broken plugs which were dangerous. There was nobody waiting for us to give the Keys. The owner kept saying he was sending somebody, but they never turned Up. Eventually I had to phone vrbo emergency phone, and they were really helpful. We could enter the apartment at 21.00. The owner gave us 100 euro refund and allowed us to check out at 14.00. The only positive things were the beds and the location, the rest was a total disaster.

El apartamento está muy bien situado. Nosotros estábamos 7 personas. La cocina algo pequeña pero apenas la utilizamos. La entrada perfecta. Marco y Eric muy atentos. Recomendable

Excellent stay overall! The property was very spacious, comfortable, and in an excellent location—perfect for getting around and enjoying the area. The laundry worked great, which was a big plus.A couple of minor suggestions for improvement: newer towels would be appreciated, and the water pressure in the showers is a bit low, so it works best if only one person showers at a time.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic location right in the centre so easy to wander to all sights! Easy and quick communication with Marco both before and during our stay.Had a couple of maintenance issues, but they were resolved quickly.

Fantastic place. The location is amazing, in the centre of Rome. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is small but since we are were eating out that was not really a problem. Highly recommended!

Perfect location and accommodations

This apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Rome. Close access to all major city areas, historical sites, and local transportation. We traveled as a family with our son that is 16 for the Jubilee and this was a perfect size apartment that gave everyone personal space as well as comfortable common areas to share meals and relaxation. Being that we were in Italy for a number of weeks, it was an added benefit to have an apartment with a washing machine for laundry! Our hosts, Marco and his wife, were absolutely exceptional to work with. Both prior to arrival and upon check-in. Communication prior to check in was timely, and very detailed. We knew exactly where to go upon arrival and what was expected. Marco and his wife met us at the apartment upon check-in, gave us a thorough walk through and introduction to the apartment, and made themselves available for follow up. My family and I agree this is an apartment we definitely book for future visits - as we travel to Italy at least once a year!

Excellent apartment. Plenty of room for six people. All rooms are large and provide space for not only relaxing but your luggage, cooking, etc. Awesome location near many walkable attractions and close to public transportation if traveling around the city. The host was absolutely incredible as well. He met us at the apartment for check in, showed us all around, and gave us all the details we would need for our stay. Would highly recommend.

Posh neighborhood

This is right there in the middle of the best shopping in Rome. It’s walking distance to some of the most famous landmarks. Highly recommend.

Great Location

They accommodated eight people comfortably. Great location in the city to get to your gelati and Café. Vitti’s is a great restaurant right around the corner. You can see the Spanish steps when you walk out your front door. We had a 79-year-old woman who was able to walk to the Trevi fountains, Spanish steps, and all around for some tours with no problems. Great location!

Loved our Stay!

Thank you Marco for everything! Rome is a magical place and this VRBO was perfect for our family. Walking distance to so many great things! Marco was an amazing host and helped us with so much, from getting to and from the airport and so much more. His property was beautiful and he was such a wonderfully kind host. The home was clean comfortable and perfect for our family. Thank you again for making our trip great and opening up your wonderful home to our family! I hope to come back one day soon!

Wonderful location

We stayed for 4 nights- the location is central to all of the special places in the city. Our host was hospitable and the lodging was comfortable. One awkwardness is that the bathrooms are all not accessible through bedrooms, leaving the person tin the 3rd bedroom having to walk through a bedroom at night. The kitchen is really a 1 person kitchen but since we are our big meals out was no problem. Highly recommend this property—-location-location-location!

Bonjour, l'emplacement de l'appartement est idéal mais pour 4 personnes et non 6 comme nous étions. En effet les sanitaires et toilettes se trouvent dans deux des chambres ce qui obligent de traverser de nuit comme de jour les chambres occupés ! La cuisine est toute en longueur et très exigue.I Nous avons du faire appel au gérant pour avoir au moins 6 verres à vin, un poele et une casserole en état et un égouttoir à salade !! Merci pour sa réactivité mais néanmoins tout cela est un peu limite. Enfin il aurait été apprécié que le frigo soit dégivré et ne coule pas au milieu de la cuisine ce qui nousa obligé à éponger avec des cartons. Au final c'est une location bien décevante.

Perfect location to all attractions

Everything was well within a 20 minute walk, and once you step out the front door you can see the Spanish steps. Only down side is a noisy restaurant on master bedroom side until about 3am every night.

Best VRBO in Roma

We rented from Marco, who was very responsive and helpful, allowing us to set expectations and pack accordingly. His home is spacious, and is located in the center of Rome - everything you want to see is a 2-20 minute walk or easy cab/Uber ride! The Spanish Steps? 5 minute walk. We walked to the Vatican in just under 15 minutes. My adult children were just as amazed - some of the best shopping and dining in Rome just steps away. The home itself has 3 bedrooms and a charming outdoor terrace. One of our favorite trattorias was literally outside our master bedroom suite. Clean, well-stocked and full of light, my wife and I were impressed by how we were able to use this as "home base" while we explored Italy, with visits to Florence, Puglia (Matera and Alberobello) and the Amalfi coast. Easy Uber ride to the Rome railway station too. Most hotels look and feel the same, but it really felt like each time we returned to Rome we were coming back to "our home". That is the magic of VRBO. You feel like a local. If you're looking for a lot of space and place that is cozy and inviting in the perfect spot in one of the world's most vibrant cities, you just can't go wrong by "borrowing" this amazing home.

Geräumige Wohnung in idealer Lage

Die Betten waren bequem. Leider gibt es kein allgemein zugängliches Bad. Man muss jeweils durch ein Schlafzimmer, um zur Toilette zu gelangen. Die Küche ist zu schmal für 2 Personen. Ein Bad und Küche sollten renoviert werden. Die Terrasse ist im Innenhof und lädt nicht zum Sitzen sein, da sie von den umliegenden Häusern eingesehen werden kann. Die Lage ist super, aber als Luxuswohnung hätten wir die Wohnung nicht bezeichne. Schlauch.

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect. We could easily walk to everything. The first bedroom is right near the front door, and there are two other bedrooms on the other side of the unit. The first (front) bedroom does not have a bathroom. The other two bedrooms have an in-suite bathroom. The unit is older, and could use some updating but it still worked for our needs. Make sure you bring the right adapter for the outlets as we brought the wrong one with us. Marco was pleasant to work with.

Spacious apartment near Spanish Steps

Marco was a gracious host. The apartment is so spacious and central. We were able to walk to all the major sights. The kitchen was well stocked and Marco even brought us some extra things. Thank you for a great stay in Rome.

Wonderful apartment in Rome

The pictures don't do this apartment justice. It has beautiful marble flooring, lintels, etc. Very large for Rome. Very nice, safe area. Marco was a wonderful host, so helpful before and during our trip arranging transportation and answering questions. Would love to come back and stay here.
