We were very happy with staying in this home. It perfectly accommodated my husband I and our three little children plus my mother! The place was clean and well taken care of. The owners were helpful and quick to respond.

This was a great location for the National Park and nearby beaches. Unfortunately, we ended up arriving right after a massive Derecho storm and the power was out the entire time we were there and most of the Park was closed as well due to trees and power lines being down. However, we made the best of it and our hosts had a back up generator so that we had a working fridge and some lights at night, which was all we needed. We ended up driving a bit further to go to beaches and still had a good time. I plan to return and will hopefully stay at this spot again when the area is back in order and functioning, as it all looked very nice and I would like to try out the restaurants and do some of the hikes we had planned.

Best Stay Ever!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, and the fact that our hosts took the extra effort in ensuring we had access to a lot of everyday essentials. We definitely plan to return to this location when next we visit.

Great host in a perfect location.

Our family enjoyed our time in Lake Michigan largely do to the wonderful accommodation. Reginald and Jewel checked in with us often and provided great restaurant recommendations. We would stay here again when we return to Laje Michigan!

Perfectly perfect- will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home! Reginald & LeJewel thought of everything and made us feel so at home! EVERYTHING in the home is comfortable, tasteful, inviting and spotless! The location was convenient for visiting the Indiana Dunes State & National Parks. We had a wonderful time & will definitely be back!

Amazing place to stay!

I was so blown away by the size, cleanliness, amenities such as Netflix, Hulu,Roku, etc, use of the garage and exercise equipment, fully stocked kitchen, including coffee pods, and snacks! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need including directions to local places and coupon books, towels, and even shampoo and conditioner! We are excited about coming back as soon as possible to this relaxing, home away from home!

Wonderful!

The property was very nice and clean. Appreciate all the amenities and owners made sure we had everything we needed. Both beds were very comfortable. Short drive to the Indiana Dunes and beaches. The owners are easy to reach and communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again it was great!

Ideal space for family outing

My husband, young daughter and mother-in-law stayed here while visiting Indiana Dunes, and we had a wonderful experience. We brought our bikes and loved biking on the paths throughout the area to the dunes and other places. Chesterton is an awesome town, and the property was clean, nice and had everything we could have needed. It was awesome to have full access to the garage to store our bikes and to come and go with them.

NP trips

Spent a few days at Indiana Dunes NP with our 2 grandsons, ages 10 & 15. This apt was an excellent location to all of the park and local amenities. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Comfortable, clean apt with all that one needs-stocked kitchen appliances, towels, extra blankets, cushions for sleeping on floor, soap & shampoo, even beverages for purchase. Had a great time!

Very nice and well appointed unit. It’s the basement of a single family home, but it has a separate entrance so it’s very private. Our hosts, Reg and LaJewel, were away while we were there but they were very communicative before and after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. They even let us use their garage which was greatly appreciated. The location was very convenient for a beach day at Indiana Dunes Park (with traffic, it was about a 15 min drive). Great stay!

Great!

Property is just as listed. Very clean, attention to details and warm home touches. Loved that we could make breakfast there with the waffle maker and mix! ❤️ the owners gave us great directions on check in and check out. Would have loved to meet them but never saw them. Felt like we were the only ones there! Highly recommend this place for your northern IN stay! Very close to the dunes and sweet little towns.

Missing hot tu

Upon arrival, neighborhood was nice and check in easy. We were looking for a property with a hot tub which was listed as an amenity in the vrbo listing. Upon arrival we found out there was not a hot tub, very disappointed. However the property was very clean and the owner was very responsive to messages.

Weekend with Friends

We spent a long weekend to explore the Dunes area. This location is a full two bedroom apartment in the lower level of the owners home. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home is very well cared for. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We were even allowed to park our car in the garage. The apartment was very comfortable and feels like home. We would definitely stay with Reggie & LaJewell again! Thank You!
