2 Story Cottage at 100+Acre Lake - Come Visit with Us!


- Large, 2-story cottage on Ben Hall Lake in Dublin, Ga. Huge 24x26 bedroom on top floor with balcony. King size bed upstairs with satelite TV provided. Also a full sized sleeper sofa in upstairs area. Very roomy and comfortable. All the windows are hand painted stained glass. Very unique!

Downstairs kitchen and living area has full sized kitchen with new appliances and dining area. Satellite TV and sofa are provided in the living area. Very comfortable and efficient. Also downstairs is a full sized bathroom with a laundry center.

Come escape to the lake and relax for a weekend, a week, or longer!

Use of 2 docks on property for fishing or sunning. We also have a beach area for swimming. We have boats available for use on the lake, 2 kayaks or small fishing boat. Come relax and fish and swim or just feed the ducks! The lake is stocked with bream, catfish, and bass. October and November are great for white perch fishing.Grab your gear and come on! Hunter's welcome!

I very much hope to come back, and not just for work travel. I would love to be able to enjoy all this property has to offer. Ms. Sheri is an absolute joy and communication was far better than other properties we've stayed at. I would recommend anyone coming to this area to give this charming place a go. The lake and accessibility to it are wonderful, as well as amenities provided! Again, i felt like i missed out being down here for work. So i plan on coming back.

Relaxing

Wonderful little weekend getaway. Bed was super comfy, upstairs porch was our afternoon hangout. The dock on the lake in the morning was just perfect.

The cottage was so cleans very spacious. Had everything we needed.

The cottage was so cute decorated in all types of antiques and interesting decor. Super clean. Had everything we needed. Lake just one very steep hill away with a great covered deck for sitting and enjoying the view. Sherrie was super friendly. Don’t be fooled by some of the surrounding places, Sherrie’s cottage is wonderful. We will stay again I am sure.

Cute cottage

Very cute, perfect for a weekend getaway! You had better have strong legs to go down to the beach though lol which the owner did offer a golf cart to use… (he said no thank you before I could gladly accept🤦🏼‍♀️) be forewarned though the water is a little funny tasting so I do recommend bottled water (I’m used to a deep well) but over all very cute, everything you could need (except a regular coffee pot lol it’sa kureg) and I highly recommend for a peaceful quiet weekend which is exactly what the doctor ordered❤️❤️❤️ Miss Sherrie is absolutely wonderful and sweet as can be and will do anything and everything to make your visit the best!! ~Niccii & Paul

Peace and Quiet!

This property is part of a small, lakeside community. My husband and I came to town for work events in Marietta and Swainsboro. East Dublin was a great "mid-way" point for our travels! We did not have time to enjoy the available paddle boat or kayaks, but the owner kindly offered and communicated with us throughout our stay. The bed upstairs is AMAZING and comfortable. The decor is "homey" and relaxing. I LOVED a turtle statue in the downstairs part of the cottage. Highly recommend! We hope to stay here again. :)

My husband and I were just passing thru from Panama City Beach FL and I always search VRBO, so I pulled up Dublin GA and this cottage came up I knew immediately this is what I was looking for. I always like the ones off the beaten path and I enjoy the lake and this was it. Cute 2 story cottage with décor like my Grandmothers old home place, but also up to date appliances to use, very large living room area and kitchen and bath, washer and dryer which I needed and the whole top floor was the bedroom with a comfy king bed. We loved it and the owners could not have been any nicer. We will come back. Thanks , Chicken Head and Weezie

Great getaway

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay. The owner was super nice. Getting to use the boats on the lake was very fun. I loved the bed linens and we both liked the cottage decor. I was surprised at how large the bedroom was and the additional huge patio right off the bedroom was fantastic to sit outside and watch the fireflies and the sunset. The kitchen was great and it was so nice to be able to wash and dry our clothes. It was neat to see a corn field on one side and a lake on the other. We definitely would come back again. Thanks for the great memories.

Cozy Cottage by the Lake

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It was clean, had WiFi, a Keurig, and satellite tv. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. No issues during our stay. We both recommend this place to stay in.

Lovely, serene

Super cute, storybook looking cottage and lovely, peaceful view! Cottage was very, very clean, but the upstairs had a heavy cigarette smell. While nice, the dock could use a power wash (but it’s probably because it’s still early in the season). Still, even with these minor mentions, especially for the price, it’s a super lovely cottage in a a very serene setting that we’ll definitely visit again.

Perfect for a family getaway!

Great place to stay! Close to town, all of the necessities/amenities and more. We enjoyed the entire stay mostly at the docs and took a fun trip on the paddleboat. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Very nice place

The cottage was very nice, set in the rustic woods just up a steep driveway from the lake. Nice covered dock on the lake, which was peaceful and quiet. The cottage was basically two very big rooms - an upstairs bedroom and a downstairs kitchen/sitting room/dining area. Very comfortable, quiet, and clean.

cozy cottage

we had a great time at Sherrie's cottage! It had everything we needed and then some. We had lots of fun fishing off the docks, kayaking, and relaxing in the sun. Will hopefully be able to come back next year!

Great lake cottage!

Wonderful stay. Owner was super nice and helpful. The cottage had everything we could needed and then some. We loved having the washer and dryer available to us and all of the bedding. A lot less to worry about on our end. We loved that we had the boats and the covered dock to use. Swimming area was the perfect little spot. Would love to come again. We all throughly enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful Hosts!!

I stayed at this lovely cottage for approximately 3 months as a travel nurse. I travel everywhere with my two previous fur babies (small dogs). This cottage is pet friendly and bless the Hosts for pet sitting while I was away working my 12 hour shifts. I cannot thank them enough!! What a load off my mind knowing my fur babies were walked and had amble outside time in the fenced in area. Loved being on the lake and outside the city limits. I spent most of my off time running, dog walking, biking, and kayaking right from my front door. If I ever needed anything, my Hosts were right there to help. Thank you 2!!!!!!

Exceeded Expectations!

This unique cottage had all I could possibly need for my long term stay. I loved the décor and everything was so clean and orderly! The first level had everything including washer/dryer, microwave and a large closet. The internet worked great. The loft level was a huge bedroom with enough dressers and cabinets to store everything I brought. I visited the Lake often and it was wonderful to be able to sit on the dock and enjoy the scenery. The owner went above and beyond to be sure I had all I needed. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant get-away.

Not quite what we expected, it is on the lake. But NOT on the lake. The cottage is attached to the front of another building and you have no view of the lake at all from the cottage, unless you go outside and look downhill, then you can't miss it. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the lake is beautiful and very peaceful. The cottage is comfortable with all the amenities of home. And we enjoyed the best steak at Tumpies which is only about 20 minutes away. The owners seem to be very hospitable, we never saw them during our visit, but we are planning to go back and bring our children next time.

More than I (we) expected!

We stayed 3 nights/4 days on the most beautiful lake I've seen in the area and we had a wonderful time. It was quiet, peaceful and stress-free; the cottage was clean, plenty of linens and very comfortable - it looks exactly like to photos online. The owner and her family were wonderful - they really catered to my mom and anticipated everything we'd need even before we asked. We were there for a birthday event so we didn't need to cook but RiteAid, Popeye's and a local grocery store were on the drive to the cottage or was just a short drive a way. We enjoyed coffee every morning and every evening by the lake; enjoyed music in the evening by the lake; took afternoon naps by the lake; took a short canoe ride on the lake; played with the cat; took a stroll around the property to smell the flowers...There isn't enough room to express what a wonderful time we had - my entire family had a great time. Thank you again for everything. Hope to see you in July 2015!

Wonderful hosts!

We are a family of 3 who came down for 5 days to visit two colleges for our daughter. Dublin was right in the middle of the schools geographically, so we were thrilled to find this rental. Even better was being able to bring our pooches. Not only did they have a great time at the lake/beach, Sherri doggy-sat them when we were off to the schools. There is even a very large dog pen by the rental for quiet time. The cottage is charming and comfortable with all the amenities of home! If we ever hit Dublin again we will ask to stay in one of Sherri and Art's properties.
