Home Away From Home is a 1410 Sq. Ft. Townhouse in a quiet gated community. The room you will be renting has it’s own private bathroom and a balcony. You get free Wi-Fi, free parking, TV has Netflix, Roku and several streaming Chanel’s. The property also has a gym and a pool. The property is twenty minutes from Ft. Lauderdale Airport, ten minutes to two major shopping malls, including sawgrass mall and five minutes to lots of restaurants and Publix supermarkets.
This property is ideal for someone who is looking for an inexpensive place to stay, yet offering comfort, and is also available for long term rental. You will have access to share the other common areas like the kitchen, dining and laundry room.
(PLEASE NOTE: I currently live on the property with my Cat, his name is Tommy, he is very friendly and loving Cat)

Amazing host and property!

From the very beginning, Michelle was so accommodating and helpful! Felt like I had arrrived at my own home. The place was spotless and perfect! I enjoyed the peace and quiet I experienced and enjoyed the cordial way she treated me throughout the stay. I will be coming back again! Thanks and God bless, Michelle! You are amazing!

Great experience in Ft. Lauderdale!

Michelle was an amazing host. Her place was extremely neat and clean and a great central location. Being in a gated community made me feel like my car would be very safe. The room was setup perfect and had a great view. The snacks provided were a very nice bonus. When I return to Ft. Lauderdale I will definitely try and stay at her place again. Thank you so much Michelle and keep up the great work!

Place was fantastic. Very clean and stylish place with everything you needed

I had a excellent time! I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for two people. The bathroom and shower was excellent. You could tell that Michelle made sure that the house is very clean. Furthermore, she clearly explained the area, and also drove me and my brother to are event. I honestly think this cozy place is a bargain. I am looking forward to staying here again one day.

Stay at Michelle’s for a month

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s. We loved Michelle’s cat Tommy and grew very fond of him. We actually miss him. Michelle made sure we are comfortable and went out of her way to help in several ways including finding a notary for us. Her home is very clean and we liked our accommodations. We stayed for a month and enjoyed every minute of it. We became friends and will definitely be in touch. Thank you Michelle for your hospitality 🙏

great place great location

It was a great stay. One room with private bath, queen sized bed and outdoor patio. We had use of heated pool with lounge chairs. Gated community near shopping, restaurants. There was a small fridge and coffee maker.

Comfortable short stay

Michelle is kind and welcoming to her guests. Staying in a home in a neighborhood has the plus of a more relaxed and comfortable lodging. And also a minus when neighbors start listening to music early in the morning; fortunately it only happened one morning and out of the host's control. Overall we really appreciated our stay.

Visit to Lauderhill

This property was exactly as advertised, and met our needs perfectly. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We would hope to repeat this experience when we return to Lauderhill.

Short stay

The property was very nice. Safe place to do my morning walk. The host was very accommodating , a good person! I would highly recommend this place. The only thing there could have been a few more plug ins for charging😊

Home away from home

The owner is a very kind women, very friendly and helped me find things to do in town. Everything was clean, accessible, and stated exactly as the pictures. It is a very comfortable home in town and not far from restaurants and night life. Tommy her cat is sweet and friendly. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an extended stay or just a few days.

Sawgrass Mill Mall, Broward Mall and Lauderhill Mall, 20 minutes from the Beach, and 20 minutes drive from Ft. Lauderdale Airport. This property is ideal for someone who is looking for an inexpensive place to stay, yet offering comfort. (It’s also available for long term rental)
