Brand new beautiful home with best view outside of Waterton Park. BOTTOM suite.

This beautiful new home boasts the best view outside of Waterton National park and is just over 10 minutes to the entrance of this natural treasure. Close to other Southern Alberta attractions including Cardston, Fort Macleod with the RCMP Mounted Police show and fort, and the Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump as well as Castle Mountain ski resort. The home is on a lake-front lot, the first in the neighborhood at the new Payne Lake development outside of Mountain View AB. Sleeps 8. Please inquire about any additional visitors for approval and info on fees.
This is the LOWER suite of this two level house. With four bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms in this basement suite along with a small kitchen (includes stove, fridge, microwave, counters, sink) and full laundry facilities. Perfect for a couple or a large family. And with the flat walk out basement the view is incredible from any part of the house. The ENTIRE house can be rented as well (with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath upstairs) so book early if you have a large group and get a total 20% discount for booking both floors (refunded at the end of stay). We had a great stay, love the location! However, there are a few things this property really should improve. To qualify to host 6 people they need more mugs, spoons, plates and some other kitchen items. We found 2 spoons, and 4 mugs… the other thing is the way this house is split, the bottom floor only has one shower, and there is some sort of alarm on the water heater which went of a few times and is only accessible to switch off from the top floor.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Sunset views are like something off a postcard. One note... if you are staying in the downstairs suite and the upstairs suite has a lot of kids running around, it's going to be noisy.

Great for families

Great house, nice to have both floors and lots of beds. Great view and lake to swim and kayak with outstanding views. Close enough to the park to do day activities, recommend bring your drinking water!!!

Check in was accurate with a lock box. Listing showed beach chairs there wasn’t any. It was supposed to have enough paper towels and toilet paper for our stay from Thursday to Sunday. It did not. If you are looking for a clean house this is not the one for you. Floors were not cleaned bathrooms, walls and baseboards were filthy hair everywhere. Cobwebs in the doorways. The mattress with the king size bed was the worst mattress we have ever slept on. Soft and when you layed on it you sink down 4”. The worst part is if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is not the house to rent. We had to listen to the upstairs renters party all night. Absolutely no sound protection between floors. Even when they were walking upstairs you heard every step. Definitely not worth the money we paid for it.

Great location. Annoyed from upstairs renters

We loved our stay for one day. Once the people upstairs arrived with their young children, unfortunately was no longer pleasant. From 7am until 10pm was non stop running,screaming, jumping and dragging things along the floor. Beautiful home but unfortunately not relaxing for us at all. Thank you for having us.

May long wkd stay

Lovely new home with fantastic view of Payne Lake & mountains. Short drive to Waterton. Stayed with husband & our 2 married children & their families. Comfortable beds, high ceilings, windows, etc added to the pleasant stay. Landscaping needs to be completed around house (soggy wkd = muddy shoes.). For now a boot scraper would help. Nice grass path to lake. Owner responsive to missing kitchen item, thanks! We would stay again.

Underwhelming overpriced basement

Firstly, when i booked the property it DID NOT MENTION that we were staying in the basement. A day before of my arrival i receive pictures and title that said bottom suite. At that point it was too late to book something else. My family was extremely disappointed. From the basement you can barely see the views with high grass outside. The next morning we had the spectic tank alaram go off. Due to low water levels, we were afraid of running out of water so only person had the chance to shower. That alarm was so unsettling to my elderly parents. It went on for 3 hours until we decided to look for keys and go in the control room to turn it off. Not sure why the upstairs tentdants are the only ones with the access to the control room. We were not notified that the water can not be used for drinking. With an infant thats important information to know. Had to go out to purchase water. When we first walked in the beds were not made properly and the sheets didn't look washed. Later we saw there was no laundry detergent either. I messaged and asked if the sheets were washed with detergent and i received a generic response. There was no follow up with the cleaner at all. The check out instructions were basically to clean the whole basement, from taking out the garbage, to washing and putting away dishes, placing everything in laundry to be washed. Not sure why we are getting charged a hefty fee for cleaning. We left the basement cleaner than we had received it (have pictures to prove)

Clean home with lovely views

Check in process was easy. Had everything we needed for our needs. Great location for a short drive to Waterton. Lake was great for swimming and fishing. Host was easy to get ahold of when needed. Nice convenience to have the washer and dryer.

Beautiful area, great property!

We recently stayed at this property near Mountain View and had a great visit. Great location near Waterton National Park. It is a new spacious home, very private, and great for families. We loved the lake and the views. Highly recommend.

Great Accommodation

Great stay. Comfortable beds. Well stocked. Beautiful scenery. Owners helpful and easy to deal with. It was very windy when we were there but nothing anyone can do about that. We enjoyed using our kayak right out our front door. Thank you!

Watertown national Park trip with friends

Beautiful lake front property and we enjoyed the beauty of lake and mountain view. Mostly clean new house but need clean the front entrance and garage.

A Peaceful Oasis Near Waterton National Park

This place is AMAZING. It is clean, fully stocked, and close to Waterton. (About ten minutes away.) The view is INCREDIBLE- a lake and mountains right outside your door. The owners were extremely accomodating and did everything they could to make it enjoyable. Oh, and the beds are super comfy too! We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
