Overall, we had a good stay & enjoyed the location. The owners were very responsive when we reached out through VRBO, which we appreciated. A few additional towels would have been helpful. Providing at least three bath towels per person would better accommodate use of both the shower & jacuzzi. Washable, towel-style bath mats in both areas would also be a nice improvement, as the existing mats did not appear machine-washable & seemed worn. Since space is limited & there are more pillows than needed, reallocating some closet space to extra towels could be a practical option. The kitchen worked well for light cooking, though the two-burner cooktop is induction-only & compatible with limited cookware. The unit provides a small skillet & saucepan. A second luggage rack would be helpful. The ice maker was broken. We also noticed the fireplace pilot light switch was left in the “Pilot” position rather than “On.” This may be something worth checking between guests, as it took us a bit of time to troubleshoot before getting the fireplace working. With a few small improvements, this property could be an even better experience for future guests. One additional note for future guests: bears do frequent the area, which is amazing to see, but take proper precautions. Please use the bear-safe dumpsters, lock vehicle doors (bears can open them), & avoid leaving any food, empty food wrappers, or items that smell like food—including clothes worn while grilling—in vehicles or truck beds.
