Very disappointing. Property was very dirty
Cindy did not answer my questions about the villa when I asked about directions. We had to pay for the bed linen and towels - Euros 360 and they were all very cheap quality. We were told that we couldn’t check in until 5.30 pm and that Cindy would meet us at the house. We had trouble finding it and I called her several times with no response. There are 4 parking spaces just outside and we managed to park in one but you could easily find nowhere to park. Luckily we just had two cars for 8 of us. There’s a larger car park a few minutes away but this too was full for the whole week. The house looks lovely but unfortunately it has not been cleaned properly for a very long time. There are louvred wardrobes in the bedrooms which are so dusty we all had to take antihistamines before bed. The wall adjacent to the bedside table was so dirty and dusty. I showed this to Cindy and she wasn’t bothered. Just said she’d tell her cleaners. That didn’t help us. Unfortunately my husband and I slept in the room adjacent to the hot tub and could smell urine very strongly. It was coming from the bed so we stripped it, turned it and washed all of the bedclothes. We could still smell urine. I mopped all the floors too. I finally discovered that the urine smell was in and on the bedside cupboard so we moved it to another area we weren’t using. There was a throw in our wardrobe that stank and one in our son’s wardrobe that stank of dog. The travel cot sheet was dirty.
