Spectacular View of Grandfather Mountain!

Spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain are part of this centrally located one bedroom condo on Seven Devils. Enjoy the magnificent views from both your living room or outside on the treetop level balcony. A thermostatically controlled gas fireplace provides warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy cool summer mountain air with an elevation roughly 700 feet higher than Boone. We also have A/C for the occasional warm summer afternoon. Top of Seven has sleeping accommodations for up to four people. The bedroom has a queen size bed. A comfortable pull out sofa is in the living room.

Snow tubing and zip lines at Hawksnest are just a short five-minute drive away. Community tennis courts are even closer. This condo is centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Linville and Blowing Rock. Appalachian State University is less than 20 minutes away, so book a stay with a view for those home football games! Additional nearby seasonal activities include biking and hiking trails, white water rafting, skiing at Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain, the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in July, wine tasting at Grandfather Vineyards, and a great public golf course at Sugar Mountain. Take advantage of your central location by exploring the local shops and restaurants that line the streets of the High Country towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. You don't want to miss out on the eclectic merchandise at the Mast General Store in nearby Valle Crucis.

The condo is bigger than I thought it would be and was extremely nice. We LOVED seeing that gorgeous mountain view from the balcony! The digital key made it super-easy to come and go, and everything we needed was included in the rental (dishes, washing pods, etc.). I would definitely stay here again if given the chance!

The unit was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck had a beautiful view, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion I have is to get softer pillows on the bed.

John, the owner is very responsive! Easy check-in, kitchen fully equipped and the view of Grandfather Mtn really made it! It was a little chilly for August, so we were able to make use of the gas fire logs. Lovely unit with just the right amount of space. Will book again!

Great location, affordable and close to everything

Thanksgiving in the mountains! This condo was the perfect size and had all that we needed. Actually was able to make Thanksgiving dinner - bought the turkey though- for my App State kiddo and friend! Easy access and had all that I needed! Would stay again and great view of the mountains after a light snow!

Great retreat

A perfect place for 2 to get away and relax. Quiet and close to anything in the area with a great view off the balcony. Heed the warnings of the listing with the hill. Very steep hill to get to the condo but a well taken care of road

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The host was very comminicative and generous with our requests. The view of Grandfather Mountain is delightful. While we didn't spend a huge amount of our time at the property, it met our needs. The living room furniture was quite comfortable. We only wish there had been some closet space to hang some of our clothes. The drive to the property is very scenic with the twisting, turning climb up. Perhaps we would have seen more colorful leaves if our trip had been a week later, but the weather was perfect for our stay. Thank you for the use of your home.

The Mountain View is wonderful. We enjoyed time on the porch gazing at the mountains. The home was clean. The air conditioning did not work well. Some better bed pillows would have made us more comfortable .There was a problem with check in, but fortunately the owner was quick to respond with accurate information

Nice Mountain Getaway

Very nice condo with everything we needed for our stay. A/C didn't work great but it wasn't super hot so it was no big deal.One suggestion that I would make is to write down all your key code entry information before you arrive. We had no cell service so we didn't know the door entry code. We walked around in the parking lot until we got 1 bar of service and then had our entry code.
