FULLY REMODELED Resort Condo in Green Valley - pools, pickleball, trail access

This cozy little condo is in the quiet, relaxing Amira Resort community in Green Valley. We just finished a FULL remodel - brand new everything and added a kitchen. It sits right in the heart of some of Southern Utah’s best biking/walking trails and is the perfect destination for couples or small families.

Our Deluxe King Bed room has all the makings for a relaxing getaway for couples, a single traveler here for business, or small families in town for sporting activities.

Amira Resort is a vacation rental community that doesn’t have any on-site staff. Our family manages this unit individually and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible. The complex is at the entrance to all of Green Valley’s hiking/biking trails so you can walk/ride right from your room. It also conveniently sits next to the Be More Complex that features Nets On Fire, The Grip, Champion Gymnastics, the RinQ, and Shay Fit for families in town for kids sporting tournaments. It’s within an hour of 4 state parks, 1 national park, 3 lakes, hundreds of mtn biking trails, 10 golf courses, and much more (see travel times below). It’s the perfect spot to take in all that Southern Utah has to offer.

Small but nice

Perfect for couple or solo person. Only because sofa bed very uncomfortable. With that said worked perfect for friend and I cause he brought his camping roll. Everything was working and had everything we needed. Host replied in timely manner as well. Will stay again!

Unfortunate

Unfortunately, the unit did not meet our expectations again. This time the unit was far from clean and no cleaning supplies or broom are provided. Pool towels and a dish cloth or sponge were not provided. The main TV still didn’t work, and security seemed questionable. We were really hoping that some of these issues would have been addressed before our second stay.

Needs Just a Few Things

We have stayed at Amira for years before the renovation. We’ve always enjoyed our stays even though we felt it needed a little attention to maintenance. Now, after a major renovation we feel even though it has a full kitchen and new flooring it has lost quite a bit of the character we once liked. All the Spanish tile and the 4 poster bed have been removed. Also, there were a few things that were inconvenient with our last stay. There wasn’t any hand towels provided, no pool towels, and no dish cloth or sponge to hand wash the few dishes we used. The main TV did not work. The smaller TV in front of the bed did work but it is not really viewable from the sofa so you are forced to watch from the bed that doesn’t have a headboard to lean against. There used to be drawers to place your items and now there isn’t. The bathroom window, even though frosted does nothing to block out the glaring sun in the morning and the sun reflects in the mirror and blinds you. I had to sacrifice one of the bath towels to prop up in the window using hangers. Lastly, you are asked upon departure to take the trash to the dumpster outside. After looking for the dumpster in the hot sun we finally located it on the opposite side of the property. We actually loaded our trash in our vehicle and drove it there. Hopefully, when we return in just a few weeks some of these inconveniences will be improved upon. I will definitely be bringing a tension rod to hang the towel up in the window.

Problem solver

Things happen but it is how you help the customer and we couldn’t have asked for a better solution. The remodel took longer than expected the property owner offered to initially discount half the rate but when the condo still wasn’t ready she/he found a similar rental for us for the same price a couple of units down from theirs. It was a beautiful and relaxing place with 2 amazing pools and pickle ball courts. The location was close to the HWY 15 and Snow Canyon. We can’t wait to go back and next time stay in the remodeled condo with a kitchen.

Beautiful & Peaceful Hideaway

This property fit our needs perfectly! It had everything we needed to be comfortable (bed was not too soft, nor too hard) and relax! The grounds themselves are gorgeous with a colorful variety of blooming roses at every corner. I was able to relax and stay cool by the pool and unwind in the jacuzzi. The on-site laundry was super convenient. Our TV showed crystal clear picture and came with Chromecast. The owners were friendly and great with communication. I would also note the check in process was so easy with the keyless entry. Sad to leave this little hideaway, it has been good to us! Highly recommend this property if you are traveling with a partner or spouse. We hope to return again in the future!
