The Redoubt View property literally has a direct view of the Cook Inlet and Mt. Redoubt from the second floor. This charming three bedroom one and a half bath duplex is just a short walk from the community steps to the world famous Kenai Beach, one of the best places on earth for catching award winning King Salmon. Amenities include an oversized heated garage, adjustable mounted big screen HD television, and a King Size cool gel Alaskan Bed in the master bedroom. Second bedroom queen size bed and third bedroom bunk beds are also brand new (2020). Keyless entry to the property and garage allow you to enjoy your stay without worrying about keys. Welcome to Kenai! We hope you have a comfortable visit and find The Redoubt View as your home away from home.

Clean, roomy and close to essentials

No complaints about the actual house. We had 4 in our group and it was plenty spacious. Father and son in room with the bunk beds and the others in separate rooms. Having a 5th would hv meant sharing a bed but still wld hv been spacious enough.. The rooms with the single beds in them were quite spacious and comfortable. The house itself was exceptionally clean and tidy. I would say it was above average as far as cleanliness goes. They had a chest freezer in garage, ready to go, if there was any fish or meat that needed to be kept frozen untill departure. Along with a scale. Both of which we used and was very grateful the hosts had those on the premises. Communication prior to the stay was prompt. We couldn’t have found a better place to make our Homebase, as it was a 15-40 minute drive to our fishing spots. And only 5 minutes from the Kenai Municipal airport. We used the outdoor dining area for lunch and Hanging out so that was nice. The kitchen was equipped with the basics and we were able to cook our meals without too much trouble. Overall the stay was quite enjoyable and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We did show up early knowing we couldn’t just go inside and start our stay. With that being said, we didn’t get that warm of a welcome and felt it cld hv been handled a little less abrasive. With maybe a touch more grace. We did apologize for that but had no where else to go. Again, sorry for early arrival. And finally, thx for cookies! And the stay!

Soccer trip

We came down for a soccer tournament for 5 days. The property was perfect for us. It was even nicer in person than in the listing, which never happens! Very clean with plenty of extra supplies should they be needed. Great location close to everything. Very prompt owner communication as well. We will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kenai!

One of the best

This is a really great place to stay. We were greeted into our rental with a nicely detailed note specifying need-to-know and nice-to-know info, as well as a basket of snacks. That was really appreciated after a long day of travel and no time to get to the grocery store right away. The house is impeccably cleaned and well-stocked with pots/pans and plenty of plates/cups/eating utensils to accommodate our 3 week stay. We used only one of the beds, which was a comfortable king with comfortable pillows. Blackout curtains made sleeping easy during late sunsets in the summer. There is plenty of storage space in the bedroom and bathroom for our day-to-day living needs. One thing you don't always find in rental homes are good lighting and electrical outlets. This facility has plenty of both. I was easily able to work while here with excellent internet connection. The TV in the main living space and master bedroom are nice and have lots of channels to choose from. There is literally no amenity we were lacking. The neighborhood is well kept, friendly, quiet and beautiful. It's just a very short walk (quarter of a mile -ish) to a local park and to the stairs leading to the beach, which was probably one of our favorite things. Our hosts were exceptional. We had a wonderful, comfortable time and would rent here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Kenia and Joshua!

The property is very clean and spacious. Perfect for our group. We fished for reds in the Kenai and loved staying at this property. Would book again for sure. Really helpful and kind hosts that went out of their way to help us. Well done!

Property was clean and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable and neighborhood was quiet. Wi-Fi was strained to keep up with our needs (computer for work and streaming TV), and the upstairs floor boards creaked a little more than normal, but over all this was a very comfortable place to stay and I would stay again.

Great Base from which to explore Kenai

We had two adults, two young adults, one teen. Everyone had room to be together and room to be alone. The house was in a great shape and was very clean. Short walk to the beach and centrally located. We had a great time here.

The best deal in town!

The accommodations were top notch in all regards! Located within walking distance of the Kenai beach and a great park for the kids we were delighted with all aspects of this super clean, spacious and extremely economical home!

A great week

We used this house as a base for our Kenai Peninsula adventures. It was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful home. Plenty of freebies in the laundry/pantry/baths. Only minor minus I would say if you’re doing a lot of cooking you might want some paper plates/cups. And bring your favorite pan. The kitchen is more than adequate but I did feel like I ran the dishwasher a lot.

Kenai family fun

Thank you for a terrific stay in Kenai!! We loved the property and it had everything that we needed for fishing, cooking, relaxing and spending time with family and friends in the area. It was so clean, organized and ready when we arrived and the owner was able to answer any and all questions a before we arrived as well as during our stay. The basket of goodies upon our arrival was definitely a nice touch. Our kids loved the snacks! We will definitely come back again!

Amazing!!

Probably one of the top rental experiences I've ever had. The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach. The place was so clean and was the most well-stocked kitchens I've experienced. Joshua went above and beyond and came to the rescue to jump the dead battery on our truck after the lights were left on overnight. Really delightful all around!

A spotless and happy place on the sea

The home is spotless and fresh with everything you may need. We enjoyed a beautiful short walk on the beach to a charming coffee shop. The owner is kind and responsive. We really loved the local Junior Hockey Team, the Brown Bears. Any parent visiting to watch their son should stay here.
