I was pleased overall with Aunt Bugs services. I don’t usually leave complaints but I did not like that the cabin did not have curtains or blinds over numerous windows-no privacy! Housekeeping was poor-medication/pills was found in bedroom floor which is dangerous & coffee grounds from previous guest was in coffee maker. Bedroom light did not work in master bedroom. Downstairs bed frame is broke and roaches reside downstairs. Spacious cabin but needs upkeep-not worth what is being charged.

Nice cabin but definitely needs some updates especially with outside furniture. Upstairs bathroom shower nozzle needs changed sprayed everywhere and the shower leaked into downstairs. Good communication with owners and easy checkin. Enjoyed our stay but it was just some little things that need attention.

Nice property

Very nice property, 3 bedrooms could sleep 6 adults comfortable. Two pull out couches make up space for 4 more, nice neighborhood and area. Lovely deck and firepit for quiet evenings. Would stay here again.

This cabin was so cozy. We were able to enjoy time together at the cabin and also the central location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made travel a breeze during our stay.

Needs attention outside with the spiders and webs on porch and windows.Spa was used and the family loved it.Needs additional utensils and cooking pots and pans or let the renters know to bring additional.There were no dressers so we lived out of our suitcases. Family had to use downstairs shower due to the upstairs shower was leaking into the bathroom downstairs all over the washer.I did not call management because the previous review complained about the same thing and it obviously wasnt fixed. The neighbors have 3 dogs that roam free in the neighborhood blocking the road and we watched these dogs almost get hit several times. No water pressure and even though there was laundry detergent supplied there was no dishwashing soap. Glad i brought my own.We had a wonderful time visiting the area but was very disappointed in the cabin itself. Management was wonderful though.

Family Vacation

The cabin was nice but some fixes do need to be made. I noticed some prior damages and sent over to property manager and they were quick to respond. One downside is that I do wish there was more activities in the house to stay busy with but overall the stay at the cabin was enjoyable .

Mountain Hide away

The property was very nice, and the location was far enough away from town to be secluded but close enough to be able to enjoy a night out, and stores and shops were close. The space has lots of room and is great for a family and has lots of space. The hot tub and fire pit spaces were great, and the property was well worth the money. W would stay again.

The cabin was a great stay for my family. We only had two small issues as far as cleaning the hot tub had to be refilled and cleaned which we had a frozen pipe so the owner of the cabin came out and defrosted and filled the hot tub for us and the coffee pot was left dirty which was no big deal but everything else was great about our stay. Will rent from this owner again for sure.

Spacious Cabin, Great Location, Good Amenities

We recently stayed here for a family vacation which included age ranges 10-75 years of age. The cabin is spacious and gives everyone a spot and place to go. Here are the pros: -Kitchen: We prepared several meals in the kitchen and it is well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. It is centrally located and made preparing family meals enjoyable. -The large first floor family room was one of our favorite places to spend time indoors. -Overall the cabin is clean. -The outdoor firepit area is nice as well. We love adirondack chairs, however, seating at the firepit did not hold everyone, so that wasn't ideal. Perhaps adding a bench or 2. -Location. This cabin is in an ideal location near the edge of Pigeon Forge. There were several drawbacks to be aware of if you consider a stay here. -Water does not get hot only lukewarm. Over the course of our stay no one had a hot shower. It was always lukewarm at best. Additionally, while the showers are updated and look nice, the shower heads are small and do not have good water pressure. -There are no towel hooks. We used the edge of the doorway or cabinets to hang our towels. Otherwise there is not a spot to place your towel. No hooks of any kind to hang jackets, etc. -There are closets but no hangers, no dressers, etc. Not a big deal but there isn't a spot to sit your suitcase or clothing. Suitcases/bags have to be laid on floor. Not a big deal but something to set a suitcase on so you aren't crouched on the floor would be nice. -The smaller bedroom on the first floor seems to be connected via a vent to the bathroom. My sister stayed in this room and could hear everything taking place in the bathroom and at times smell everything from the bathroom into the bedroom. -Curtains or blinds are a must. Yes, it's in the woods but the cabin is not fully secluded. Nearly every window in the cabin is open without blinds or curtains. It would be nice to close the blinds at night for privacy or in the early am for those that want to sleep in. -There is not a kitchen table of any sort. There is a bar area with multiple stools but not a space to gather around a table. Not a big deal for our group but some may want to know. -The stairs are very steep. May be difficult for very young or very old. Overall we enjoyed our stay here! It was easy to book, check-in and out.

While the house and location are nice, the spiderwebs and the dust covering everything, the food stains on the counter and the hair in the sheets were disgusting. It was impossible to let our 10 months old crawl around. We eventually had to and his clothes within seconds were covered in layers of dust and dirt. The sinks in the bathrooms were clogged and didn’t drain and the company must have known as there were tools and water stains under the sinks from previous repairs. The hot tub was nice and the appliances in the kitchen worked. The washer did not close and didn’t wash. We luckily found backup sheets in one room and were able to change the sheets on the bed with hair. A suggestion would be to keep spare sheets in each room and spare blankets as well. Also would recommend to turn the hot tub to have the entrance by the stairs instead of by the porch railing, as stepping in and out was very difficult.

Cabin

The pictures of the property were accurate. Very beautiful space. We were unable to get one of the TVs to work and only half the jets in the hot tub worked. Manager said that there was a knob to adjust the jets but we didn't find one. There was no water pressure in either kitchen sink. I had to get water from the bathroom to use in the kitchen. The sofas and recliners were very comfortable. The other appliances worked as expected. There were more dishes and utensils than expected. All in all we were happy with the property.

RENTER BEWARE!!

This cabin was a last resort for us. We traveled to this area to attend my sisters funeral. Being it was a holiday weekend(Labor Day 2021)our choices were limited, but this place looked nice in pictures and fit within our budget. There were cheaper options tho and I wish I had chosen a different place. For the price I feel like we got the short end of the stick. -mice pellets in the kitchen drawers -very few towels -dirty floors(like feet are black from walking on them) -cobwebs everywhere( inside and out) -very poorly stocked kitchen( not even pot holders or salt/pepper) -no blinds/curtains on bedroom windows. -water pressure a JOKE!!! -lack of any extra bedding( one bed had two top sheets and no blanket!) -beds very very firm and one has a significant dip on one side. -hot tub with no chlorine/bromine(smelled like mildew!) -poison ivy hanging off the back porch by the hot tub. -water did get hotter than expected, but don’t dare let anyone turn on a faucet anywhere else. Ice cold! -no iron/ironing board($10 rental fee!) -the fees in the contract are ridiculous($50 to put up a couch bed, $35 to take out the trash etc) Here’s some positives: -Close to town. -A/c works well. -decor is decent I’ve stayed in MANY other vacation rentals over the years and this is the worst place we’ve ever stayed in. When you pay over $1700 for 3 nights- you expect a minimum amount of accommodations. This place failed to deliver.

Cedar charm

When we arrived to the property the back door was unlocked, which we found sketchy. We all needed and wanted a shower after traveling that night, and the water would not get hot. We took cold showers. We called and they come out the next day to “fix the water”, however it never got HOT. Only Luke warm. There are no dressers anywhere in the house. We had to lay our clothes out on the floor. We left early, we didn’t even stay the length that we booked. The people are very sweet, but won’t be staying here again!

Honeymoon getaway

The property was beautiful but you could tell it was newly renovated and owners still working on items throughout house. All appliances and cooking utensils were new. Ceiling fans in living room and bedroom had some electrical issues. Up stairs shower head leaked and had low water pressure. Recliner on right side in movies room didn’t work. Hot tub was awesome. Overall if theses items are addressed it’s a great property to book.

Nice place, needs a little work

Great location and great size for our group of 10. There were definitely a few things that needed to be worked on though. There were no curtains on the upstairs bedroom which was very weird to me. Also, there is a definite mouse problem. The noise kept my sister in law up most nights. The kitchen wasn't well stocked at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay, I just think they need to do a little more work before house keeps being rented.

Great time during this pandemic

We stayed here wanting to avoid a hotel due to COVID-19 and we would do it 3 more times over. It was clean, pictures are what you get with this cabin. We had another family with us so they stayed downstairs and it worked out perfectly knowing they had a stove and fridge, plus a bathroom, down there to accommodate their needs as well. We have a toddler so I will suggest maybe adding a door of some kind to go down stairs, only because the stairs are so steep and there isn't a railing. The beds were comfortable, the decorations are gorgeous, we even brought home ideas for our house. Loved being here, sad we had to go home!
