Uncomfortable Convenience
The only thing this facility has going for it is the location. It's across the street from the base area and that is where the good ends. Cheap motels are more clean and have better furniture than this place. The kitchen and bathrooms had black hairs everywhere and there were coffee grinds all in the cabinets. The patio furniture (two plastic chairs) were covered in dirt when we arrived, almost like they have been sitting untouched for years.
Onto the couch, this was so uncomfortable nobody ever sat on it for the entire week. If bus stops had couches, this would be it. Would be good to sit on if waiting for a bus in the rain but not so much a good place to relax after coming off the slopes and this is what bothered me the most about the place.... extremely cheap uncomfortable furniture. The TV's are smaller than my computer monitors but they do have VCR's in all the rooms so the kids got a lesson in the history and progress of electronic media. Fireplace makes a loud whistling noise when turned on and is so loud you can hear from anywhere in the condo. The only thing more enjoyable than turning the fireplace on is turning it back off, very disappointing. I don't ever write reviews but when you pay this much you expect something much better and I want people to know what they are actually getting into here before booking.
