WOW!

What a wonderful place! So comfortable and peaceful! We were able to explore Detroit lake area as it was a short drive to/from the lake. The rivers edge is beautiful and we caught some fish! The owners did not cut any corners and made sure we had everything to make our stay a wonderful experience. Such a hidden gem and we look forward to returning!

The perfect river cabin retreat for families!

This place is a total home run. You pull through the locking gate and immediately see how much parking space there is. Plenty of room for all your cars, trailers, RVs, whatever. And the pull through driveway is easy to get around the entire thing with room for multiple family cars. You then walk into the entryway and are immediately floored by the elegance and beauty of this home. As you walk through the hallway into the great room style kitchen and dining area, you cannot help but gasp at the incredible river views that continue as you walk out onto the roomy and lovely deck. Trust me when I say you will want to stay here all day. The rooms are perfect for large families and the master is really nice. Bunk beds in one, and a selection of beds upstairs. The showers are nice, the kitchen is fantastic and the game room is where we gravitated later when the night got chilly. The vintage video game consoles are cool, pool tables are a ton of fun and the tv is large and high quality. The river access is steep, especially for little kiddos but its very high quality and the owners have done everything they could to make it safe and easy to get to the river. We had quite a few kayakers and stuff like that going by. Tons of fun! I can't say enough about how great this place is. Book it!!

Thank you very much for the conscientious review. We can’t tell you how happy it makes us that you enjoyed the home! I’m sure you are aware, but the Beechie Creek fire burned through the area the night after you left. The house unfortunately didn’t make it. You were the last people to stay there! We are working to design and build a new house to keep the wonderful property available but it will take some time. Hopefully you can stay again in the future!

Great, relaxing getaway

Beautiful house. The arcade game console was an exciting surprise. The view from the porch was lovely. The kitchen had excellent utensils, pans, etc...
