Welk Resorts is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) Sanitary procedures. Guidelines from local health departments are followed. They have been actively engaged with federal, state, and county public health officials daily to receive accurate information and updates. This guides their approach and influences adjustments to their infection prevention protocols. Welk resorts’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. All areas are continually cleaned: craft rooms children use are sanitized before each new group enters. Condos are sanitized throughout the day. Pool areas, locker rooms and the gym equipment are cleaned between users. Private homes cannot have personnel there 24//7. They don’t include continuous activities for every age person in your group. Your children are safe at Welk Resorts.
Housekeeping prepares your bedrooms for you, clubs the tubs and showers at your request and opens the comfortable queen size sofa beds and closes them in the morning.
Northstar Lodge is located at the base of the world-renowned Northstar California ski area in Truckee, California. It’s a ski-in/ski-out resort, complete with its own unique, pulse-driven gondola.
The Villas have amenities not available elsewhere. Native materials bring a naturally weathered appearance, while luxuriously warm appointments set the mood, creating a feeling that you are in a high-alpine area
All villas feature high-end amenities, including designer stainless steel appliances and ranch house style interiors. Other amenities include a private owner’s lounge, media theater, ski and boot valet. Ask the concierge for more information.

My husband and I purchased our Welk Timeshare because the Escondido location is close to our home. Welk is a family oriented resort. There are multiple experiences throughout the week for everyone to participate in.

Welk Resorts provide luxurious upgrades in every unit. Cleanliness has always been a priority. But the cleaning has been greatly Increased due to COVID standards. Maintenance is available 24 hours a day in case you need a repair done in the middle of the night. You don't need to rent a car. There is shuttle service from the Reno Airport and taxis available to take you to North Lake Tahoe where you can stock up on groceries for the week.
