Centrally Located DoCo Oasis

This house is a passion project of four siblings. We grew up in this house and share a love for Fish Creek. We have fully renovated our family’s cottage to make it accessible and enjoyable for a large group of friends or family.

It certainly didn't hurt that our home just so happened to be in the very center of the BEST town on the peninsula :-) We can't wait to provide you with your home base for the perfect vacation! The treasure that is Door County is a short stroll from your front door.

Perfect in every way!

We stayed here for just over a week and it was perfect! The location couldn't be better with walkability to everywhere in Fish Creek. Gorgeous interior, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful kitchen (although we didn't cook), and perfect outdoor patio. The owners were communicative and check in was a breeze. Definitely hoping we can stay there again!

Perfect location

The beautiful house is in the perfect Fish Creek location. Close enough to walk everywhere- shopping, restaurants, harbor, and Sunset Beach. We would definitely choose this home again when we return to the area.

Family Time

This beautiful, newly renovated property was the perfect spot for our family to gather to enjoy all that Door County has to offer! Family Getaway

What a sweet little house! Perfect for me, my husband, and our two tween/teen daughters. The house is perfectly located for walking around Fish Creek- shopping, Sunset Park, dining, ice cream! Also not a far drive to other towns and state parks. The house itself is clean, comfortable, and newly updated. We loved our stay!

Fabulous Fish Creek property

This home is beautifully remodeled and decorated-like a page out of a magazine! Right in the heart of Fish Creek where you can walk to the water, all shops, and restaurants. Filled with thoughtful amenities and touches. We had a great stay and will definitely be back. Definitely one of the best rental homes I have ever stayed in.

DC Family Time

The house was perfectly located for us to easily walk to shops, waterfront and restaurants. We had 8 adults and a baby comfortably stay for a week. The kitchen was well stocked for our family meals. The living room has a comfy cozy fire place and gathering room to relax and enjoy family time. I would highly recommend The Cottage at the Creek!

Family birthday week

This house was just perfect!! Everything about this house was great for our family (3generations). The house was exceptionally clean and spacious. The kitchen and house had everything needed for our week. We were able to walk everywhere from coffee, to beach, shopping, dinner, and after dinner drinks. We did drive a couple places but mostly stayed in the area. We would stay again and so will family that stopped by.

Family Vacation in Central Fish Creek Location

My family had a great stay at Troy's property in Fish Creek. The home is very centrally located in town, walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in downtown Fish Creek, and a short drive to Peninsula State Park and some of our other favorite spots in nearby towns. The home itself is beautifully renovated and worked well for our family (our kids are 8, 6 & 4). The master is on the main level and our kids stayed in the bedrooms upstairs. That arrangement worked fine for us, but could be a consideration for families who prefer to sleep on the same level as kiddos. One trade off with the central location is lack of privacy - the house has neighbors on all four sides, so it did feel at times like we were in a fish bowl. It wasn't a problem, but just a potential consideration. All in all, we had a great experience. Communication with the owner was easy and we would highly recommend.

Clean & Modern in Perfect Fish Creek Location

We had a fantastic time at the Cottage in the Creek. Ideal location. The place was incredibly clean. We went with 3 kids between the ages of 4-6. There could have been some more accommodations for younger kids like step stools since all the (beautifully renovated) bathrooms were of taller height and games/toys for kids that age. My other suggestion would be an additional TV in primary bath and a stool/chair/bench.

Clean and perfect location in Fish Creek

Nice job on the renovations of the property. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen/dining room were spacious. Very quite area and within a stone's throw of FC shops/restaurants. Weather was cool with one day being rainy and windy and it would have been nice being indoors to have more expanded TV stations like TBS, A&E, TNT, etc. But overall an amazing time and this quaint property

Wonderful Stay in Fish Creek

Cottage on the creek was better than we could have imagined. The house is in the perfect location in fish creek just a quick walk to shopping and restaurants. The house was beautiful and perfect for a large family to stay. We come to Door County each summer and this is the best place we have stayed yet!

Fantastic House; Great Location

This home is beautifully appointed, with very comfortable beds, high quality linens and kitchen appliances. It was super-clean and had sufficient paper products and cleaning supplies (thanks!). We were worried it would be noisy so near to Downtown, but it was quite peaceful. We enjoyed eating gelato from the nearby shop on the front 'patio,' as well as enjoying a glass of wine there before heading out for dinner. We were 7 adults ranging in age from 25-85 and we were very comfortable in the home. We highly recommend it!!

Wonderful Stay

The house comfortably housed us all (6 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler) but was cozy enough for us all to be together. The location was great. So much to walk to and the host was super responsive and helpful. We had a great stay.

Wonderful vacation

After being home for the past 13 months-this was a perfect week away. Beautiful home within walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, activities. Teens felt very independent exploring the area on their own. House itself very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out-So much better than a hotel room!! Would most definitely return!

Welcome to Fish Creek, Wisconsin- the heart of Door County. You will be hard pressed to find a more quaint town or a better location in the county. We each took the time to write down our favorite restaurant and activity recommendations in our welcome binder, to help you get acquainted with our home. Fish Creek is all about the lake and you are so close you can see it from the front yard. A one block walk will take you to the Concerts and events in Clark Park and within a few block radius, you can access everything Fish Creek has to offer. The town is conveniently sandwiched between Egg Harbor on one side and Ephraim and Sister Bay on the other. You also are a quick drive across the Peninsula to Baileys Harbor.

Note: Now open for Winter!! Sit by the cozy fireplace or enjoy the quiet season in Door County. If solitude and beauty is what you are looking for, this will be your perfect time of the year. There is sledding at Hill 17, skiing in Peninsula State Park, and old-fashioned candlelit dinners at the White Gull... not to mention the best prices of the year on stays with us. Give the off-season a try and see just how magical it can be!

Please note, like all of downtown Fish Creek, we operate on a well. This can cause some sulphuric taste and smell though it is safe to drink.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Fish Creek is very walkable, the town itself is only a couple square miles. Our Airbnb is in the center of it all and nearly everything in the town can be reached on foot. The heart of the restaurant and shopping district is two blocks from the door and the water is steps away. The whole peninsula can also be biked or accessed by car and you will be in the perfect location to enjoy it!
