Lois was very nice . It was crazy times 2 storms back to back. . I was happy to help them as they had 3 dogs i knew it would be difficult to find a home . I was at the main home on the property almost every day . I also spoke to Lois daily and text . Not sure what she means by the communication. I allowed 3 dogs in a studio to help them out. It took me 8 hours to clean my home that is only 650 square ft. I am saddening that she gave me a 4 star. I only have 2 in years, and this is the second one. We had the 2 worst storms on 100 years. I worked hard to get my home ready for Lois. So, I feel the 4 star is just not fair. Elaine

Debbie I am sorry about the misunderstanding. . The site is clear that there are two homes on the property . We also spoke and I updated you on the guests checking in. What I dont understand is why you did not text me or call me. The last 3 travelers that checked in wer there for the Super Bowl and it is against my policy to have parties or party. If you would have called me I would have taken care of the issue. Again not sure why you did not contact me . A 3 star rating is not fair to me as how can I fix the issue if not aware of it. My home is very nice and you made no postive comments about this home. Seems a bit critical. Thank you for your reservation. Elaine

Meeting Bruce and his wife was a charm. I always look forward to constructive comments. We have fixed the fan and made changes to accommodate 3 cars for parking. So we always look for ways to improve our travelers stay. Elaine

Kay was great. I appreciated her bringing the air conditioner to my attention. I immediately sent my air conditioning company and it was low on freon, we did get the unit up and running same day. The unit did cool below 72 , I totally understand that many residents like very cold homes . Kay was great in fact a neighbor and I now have a new friend. Elaine

I would like to respond to this false review. I talked to Victoria several times before check in as she wanted to know if there was a place to store her expensive bikes. She knew the court yard was shared, and that the garage was shared so I advised her to maybe put the bikes in the home she was renting. Also she decided to not bring the bikes and used the bikes in the garage. She knew the hot tub was not usable I do not advertise it. I answered that question over the phone before check in. The bed is a queen bed , I would know I buy the linens I gave Victoria a late check out and a early check in. Bottom line she just got to the home with her dog and husband wanted a refund and began to text me using the excuse she did not feel safe . I quickly responded to advise her we have 2 police officers and a detective that live on the same block and this is a very safe neighborhood and that the neighbors have lived there for 10 to 20 years plus. I have owned the home since 1983 and plan to retire in it. So to say I was not in touch is ridiculous I am a super host with very good reviews. This review is completely false , this is the perfect example of someone wanting a refund or a discount. I have been hosting for 16 years and my reviews are clear how well I communicate to the travelers. Elaine
