The Monterey Beach Resort (sleeps up to 4) and is located on a barrier Island ocean side of Gulf Blvd thus no busy road to cross. It takes just 45 seconds to access Redington Shores Beach via the private deeded walk way from your beach front door.
Monterey Resort is located on Redington Shores beach in an area locally known as Sunset Reef which is known for having the whitest sugary soft sand and the most pristine turquoise blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Parking is FREE as long as you park in your private spot marked # 19.
Has recently undergone some very nice updates including granite countertops, custom tiled bathroom and solid mahogany hand carved and sculpted king size bed with a Stearns and Foster ultimate comfort 15 inch mattress which is so comfortable....

The large pool is next door, and is also the closest to the best beach around and just a 45 second walk. Complimentary BBQ grills and outdoor garden dining tables and chairs make dining together outdoors under the stars fun and entertaining family experiences.

So handy to be located next to a pool, beach and across from nice restaurants like SeaBreeze. Sunsets as promised. Pool is well heated and never crowded. Walk to beach short & safe. All beach tools (chairs, mats, umbrella, toys, cooler etc are included and handy. Overall met our baseball fan needs as within 1 hour of 4 spring training stadiums!

Best for 2 People

The location and the other renters at the property were great. My only issues were with the very noisy sofabed when in use, the living room throw rug was very dirty, and the plug in the bathroom was too high to use and I had to stand on the toilet to get to it, only to find out it didn’t work. For the most part I enjoyed my stay.

This unit is in a great location but needs some work

The location of this unit is ideal--short private walkway to the beach and the pool and grounds are beautiful and truly old-time Florida atmosphere. Delicious Sea Breeze restaurant is located across the street and there is one reserved parking space for each unit. However, the unit itself needs some updating/repairs: the key code works to unlock the door but does not work to lock the door; there are 2 air conditioning units in the bedroom but the combined heating/AC unit only works on heat, not on AC; there is too much furniture in the unit, some of which had to be moved in order to allow enough space to utilize the pull out couch and even to move around in the bedroom.

Adequate accommodations for 1-2 people

The listing says it will sleep 4 but it’s really for 2 max. The location is good. Close to the beach, nice pool area. Not the most modern looking place - kind of dated, but the price was right. Host was responsive, check in/out was easy.

Perfect location- highly recommend!

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed here. My husband and I had stayed in a different unit last year and we loved the location and convenience of the property. The bed was very comfortable, walk in shower great, and the flat was furnished well, but our main focus is the beach and pool, which is why this rental stands out. Steps from the pool and a 20 second walk to the beach make it perfect for what we want! There were only a few other people staying in the 20 unit buildings so it was quiet. The beach is not crowded and the water is perfect. A designated parking spot is handy and the area feels safe with plenty of things nearby- restaurant options, stores, parks, churches, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Great little stay!

We stayed for just 2 nights, but it was perfect. Comfortable room, by the pool, 2-minute walk to white sand. Perfect for just a couple days to unwind.

Hidden gem

My daughter and I stayed here for a few days and it was absolutely perfect!! Right next to the pool, a few seconds from the beach. Everything we needed from kitchen stuff to beach stuff was there. Super cute and clean. Easy check in, parking right out front. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Beautiful little intercoastal park across the street. We will be staying here again. I miss it already!!

Fantastic Time

Best place to stay. Friends had told us for years how great it would be. Did not disappoint for our first trip to Florida. We met new friends and we felt like we were at home. Hope to stay again in the near future.

Nice place owner was great to answer communications quick the only issue I had I thought the cleaning fee was to much and vrbo service fee were out of line as well for what unit is and wasn’t very clean on arrival beside these two items great unit and great owner

Charming

Even though our stay was cut short due to Storm Ian, my wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean, roomy and provided us with a comfortable stay, Great pool and beach access! Hosts are very communicable and stayed in touch with us during our evacuation. I hope Storm Ian did not damage the property because my wife and I will plan to return soon!

It was a really nice stay!

Check in and out was so easy! I’ve stayed at several other properties where the owners had outrageous check-out requirements! Robert did not have any requirements! He made the stay so nice and easy. I asked him a question about the wifi and he answered fairly quickly. The place was stocked full of beach towels, an umbrella and chairs. Everything we could possibly need for a fun time on the beach. Locking the door with the code and returning without keys was awesome! The bathroom towels were soft, there was plenty of pillows, sheets and comforters. If I could make only two suggestions, it would be to place blackout curtains or shades under the existing curtains as the outdoor lights beam in all night long. Also, the handheld shower sprayer has been crimped on the metal hose and therefore has a sharp corner which needs repair. I really liked the grassy common area in the middle of the property. The rooms stayed cold the whole time. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. Parking was easy and convenient. There’s a good restaurant across the street. Overall, the experience was nice, convenient and affordable.

Beautiful

Such a cute little place in the perfect location! The pool is located right next door to this unit and the beach is just a short walk down a pathway. The other residents were very friendly and everything was clean and well kept. We loved it so much!

Was able to check in 2 hours early. Very close to the beach. Several restaurants located close. No where to put anything in the bathroom. Shower needed cleaning. Third day there we realized that there was no extra rolls of toilet paper. Had to buy some.

We had a great 10 days here with lovely weather and family staying nearby. It was quiet, clean and close to several really good restaurants. The sunsets were amazing!

Renovated Condo Steps From The Beach

My two children and I stayed here for several nights. Parking was easy and close to the condo. The condo is nicely renovated. The bathroom/shower could have been slightly cleaner, otherwise everything was cleaned to our liking. The pull out bed is not very comfortable but it worked. The heated pool was great for the kids! Others staying were friendly - felt like neighbors. We felt safe. You cannot beat the walk to the beach - and the hosts had beach chairs for us in the closet. No beach towels found, sadly. Bring your own shampoos/soap. No big deal but would have been a nice touch. Hosts answered our questions very quickly. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

Great spot, great price

We love the “Old Florida” lodgings, and this one was great. Unit 19 is roomy and fully equipped, next to the pool and a short wander to the beach. The custom-painted ceilings and walls were remarkable and added to the enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed and definitely recommend.
