Camping Cottage

Rent one of our cottages and enjoy the great experience of camping in Wisconsin. Each cottage sleeps up to 6 people, has a small kitchen, and full bathroom with shower/toilet. The kitchen has a stove top (no oven), microwave, coffee pot, fridge, and toaster. There is a charcoal grill outside of each cottage (charcoal not provided). Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has one set of twin bunks (2 twin beds). There is a full size sofa sleeper in the living room area. Guest will need to bring their own towels, linens, and pillows OR we can provide them for an additional $50 charge per stay. Please request linens at the time of booking.

Campground has an on site heated pool, bar, fishing pond, swimming pond, playground, mini golf and fun activities for all ages. Hours of bar and store vary. Please inquire about bar/store hours upon booking. We are a short drive to downtown Wisconsin Dells - the water-park capital of the world. Bring your friends - there are a total of 8 cottages and several RV sites for rent. Come enjoy camping without sleeping on the ground or buying an RV!

** Please note that some of the pictures make the rooms/beds look larger than they are due to VRBO's photo size requirements and the photo is stretched. This is a cottage/park model that is about 350 sq ft.**
** We have 8 cottages within the campground. Every unit is the exact same design as far as the inside lay out shown in the pictures. Some units have more trees than other, but each still have enough to get that Wisconsin camping feel. Each deck is the same size. All are within a similar location.**

Quick stay

The cottage was clean and as advertised. Check in and out was easy. The space is tight for 6 people, we spent most of our time outside. The grounds we nicely kept up and there were plenty of amenities.

Warning! Best suited for a single person. Our dog could not turn around inside without the door being open. We had to take turns sitting at the table or using the bathroom. The upper bunk is inaccessible for an adult so plan on sleeping on coil springs inside the pullout couch.This place is mostly clean, and comes with a list of potential additional charges.

Great for family and furbabies

Our cottage was nicely located, quiet, and as described. Only hang up was rather uncomfortable mattresses, but this wasn’t surprising given previous reviews. Other than that, we really appreciated being able to bring our three large dogs with us, and to be allowed to leave them in our cabin while we enjoyed the Dells.

Nice place

This place is very well kept, with lots of little things to do on the property. It has a small store, bar and restaurant. Far enough out of town to be quite, but still close to wisconsin dells. We ended up staying in cottage 5, not what we booked based on the pictures on vrbo. So a little confusing. If it wasnt for vrbo we probably never know about this hidden gem. We will book our stay through Dells camping resort website next time we come back.

Our vacation destination

We loved our stay here!! The whole property is wonderful and full of wildlife!! On one 2 mile stretch of road leaving the property we saw 26 deer!! We had a mom deer with twins that we saw daily. Although we mainly spent our time in the dells at all the attractions we could have just stayed on the property and had just as much fun. There is so much to do for outdoor and nature lovers and the kids. We were also able to bring our dog without breed or weight restrictions. The property was clean and although other people are around it felt secluded. This is the first time we have stayed outside the main dells area and will definitely be back for our next Dells trip!!

Long weekend summer break

Definitely 5 stars across the board. I read the reviews on Vrbo and this place was recommended by many people. We vacayed with our 2 boys (15 & 11) and a dog. Very clean & great atmosphere. There's plenty to do on site no real reason to leave. They have fun themed weekends & they serve breakfast in the morning. We stayed in one of the cabins. Very clean and it came with many amenities. During our stay the camping community hosted a fundraiser for one of their fellow campers who has cancer. What a wonderful community of campers. Thank you DCR for a great time!! We'll be back!

Too many bugs

There were bugs inside the place. Lots of ticks out doors. My dog n kids were miserable. I was expecting to be near a lake. No, lake. Took our bikes but unable to ride them because of the sand roads. Did not enjoy our stay. Left a day earlier.

Great place.... needs mattresses to match

Everything about this place was pretty great. My only complaint is thr mattress we slept on. Im not sure how they even found one like this but, it was a 3 inch spring loaded mattress which left us unrested. I also find it strang that you must bring upur own sheets and towels. I missed it in the listing (my fault) weve never stayed at a place through vrbo that didnt include sheets. Kkowing these two things now, we would not rent a cabin again. However, we are most looking forward to staying here with our RV sometime next year

Perfect getaway for our family of 4

The cabin was clean and nice. The deck had a nice big table for eating and playing cards. The only negative that others have also commented on is that the beds are really uncomfortable. Otherwise everything else was wonderful! The staff were friendly. The location was great! Far enough away from the craziness of downtown Wisconsin Dells but a easy drive to enjoy the attractions. If you enjoy wineries I would highly recommend Fawn Creek it’s only a few minutes away from the resort. I would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway

Great time with our pets and grandchildren. Lots of activities and just a short drive from the Dells. Roads very even although it’s off highway. Cottage had all the utensils necessary we just brought our own linens. Can’t wait to go back

Best cozy place to stay !

Very friendly, even tho it rained alot we still had a good time !! The lady working in bar was the best 🙂 wonderful food, made us feel at home !! Would definitely go back and stay!!

Not quite what we expected, but still nice.

This cabin is in a campground and there are actually several cabins of the same type. We were expecting the one pictured that is surrounded by trees. Ours was next to the maintenance shed and dumpsters. The cabin was clean and had a very nice deck. The beds were not very comfortable. There is a pool which was nice. The campground was very quiet and was a nice place to stay.

Devil's Lake Hiking Weekend

The cabin worked really well for us. We went hiking at Devil's Lake, which was about a 30 minute drive. We were able to have a camp fire later in the evening. Everyone at the campsite was very friendly. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The only small complaints - we didn't realize that there was no oven. There were no clear instructions on checking in and out. I called the day that we were to check in for instructions.

Vacation 2020

Had a nice pleasant stay in one of the cottages on the property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Close to all of the Dells attractions. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Overall a very nice stay. The trailer seems brand new. check in/out process was a little unclear.
