Street level home with ample on site parking. Lower level has rec.room and wet bar. Dock, patio, and level back yard. 2600sf of finished living area. This lake allows for recreational boating, water skiing, jet skis. This is a great lakefront getaway for some relaxation and lakefront fun.

Beautiful view, lovely home

The house was well furnished with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the view was outstanding. We loved everything about it. The host was super kind and let us check in early!

Fantastic stay

Spent a great week at Big Lake. Everything was just as described. Kids loved fishing from the dock and kayaking, and then relaxing around the firepit at night. This was one of the best stocked VRBOs that we have stayed at. The owners seemed to have thought of everything. Communication with the owners was great. We highly recommend this property.

Grad weekend lake time!

We had a blast at this location on the water! They have a dock for the boat, fire pit for fun. Lots of space in the house and it’s all set up perfectly. Water toys galore. This unit is perfect!

We had several family members coming into town for my son's wedding.

Property was perfect!! Very clean, beautiful setting on the lake. Communication with the host was easy and Jim was extremely responsive. I would very highly recommend this property to anyone and will definitely use it again if needed.

Big Lake House

This house was all that we could ask for as a retreat from our work in the Burlington area. Stayed there two weeks and everything was great.If you want to eat out there are places to go nearby if you want to cook bring your food and cook it up in the kitchen or on the grill. Everything you need is there. Beds were comfortable and having the washed and dryer was a hugel plus especially when we had wet clothes from swimming in the lake. I would book this house again in a heartbeat.

Lake house outstanding

This house is beautiful and we had everything we needed to have a perfect vacation(other than a bit more sun! :)) The owner got right back to us with any questions and was more than accommodating to our needs.

Fantastic lake house vacation

The property is absolutely beautiful- waking up to the lake view each morning and watching eagles fish! 4 bedrooms to fit a large family. Very comfortable beds - we slept great! Plenty of activities to keep you busy (kayaks, fire pit, board games, etc). Easily accessible to all Skagit Country has to offer (tulips, rodeos, whale watching tours). Jim has stocked the house with all the necessities and stays in communication to ensure the stay is wonderful. We cannot wait to stay here again!!

Wonderful Vacation on the Lake

We had an incredible vacation at your home. We loved kayaking, playing, and spending time on the water each day. We enjoyed the layout of the house and loved having a fridge upstairs and downstairs for refreshments. The home had all of the supplies we needed for a great vacation. We enjoying playing games and grilling each night. Jim the property owner was helpful and responsive whenever we had a question. We will definitely come back for another stay.

This was a really beautiful home in a gorgeous lake neighborhood. We needed a place to stay for a family member's wedding, so we didn't enjoy the amenities as much as we could have (though two members did kayak one afternoon). Highly recommended!

Lovely Lake Home!

Beautiful place! Loved the lake view from all of the windows! Cozy and comfortable bedrooms as well! Great for a large group, as there are two levels for more privacy

Fantastic lake house

This house was fantastic - fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a week at the lake. Outdoors, the house had two kayaks, dozens of floaties and lawn games. We were never bored. The house was really nice and comfortable. The beds were really comfy and the bathrooms were great. The kitchen had everything we could need and the gas BBQ worked great. The owner was very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Lake Recharge

Our two families with 4 adults, 4 teens and 2 kids found this property to be just perfect! There were more places to sleep than the 10 of us needed - and that’s rare! The beds were clean and comfortable. There were also several couches and our youngest even found the massive beanbag to be his choice each night - despite there being open beds! The entire home was clean and more stocked with extras than we’d encountered in a VRBO before - like some spices, oil, beach towels, paper ware and even coffee! The owner was super easy to communicate with and gave the feeling of being very generous. There was a storage room full of lake and yard items - including kayaks! We brought our own SUP and the lake was perfect for floating, swimming, paddling and watching our otter friends each day. Boaters and jet skiers waved to us and we didn’t feel out of place as renters. We played cards in the back yard while the kids played giant jenga. Overall, we couldn’t have had a better home base for our San Juan days and even chose one day to just stay at the house and play all day. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect VRBO layout for families

Such a great property! Owner has everything you might want for a fun week on the lake - floaties, life jackets, kayaks, knee boards, water skis, yard games like corn hole and croquet…it’s all here. (BYOB - bring your own boat.) The floor plan of the house is ideal for a large family, or two families to share. Main floor has two bedrooms (including a master with 3/4 bath), two bathrooms, plus a huge, well-appointed kitchen, living and dining areas. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry, and spacious living area with a kitchenette that includes a full sized fridge. Decks on both levels overlook the lake. A nice patio area and grassy yard lead to the lake, where a large dock offers plenty of room for your own boat or jet skis. Owners thought of everything: Plenty of beach towels on site, air mattresses, games, and fully stocked with the necessities like garbage bags and adequate garbage receptacles outside. This is a really nice house, comfortable and ready for guests. There’s even a little grocery-slash-burger joint just down the street. And the boat launch is easy to access just across the lake. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and spacious

My three-generation family of 10 had an amazing week. The house is even better than the pictures. Very spacious. Bedrooms are big and there are fantastic common areas on both floors. Two full fridges. Amazing decks. Bathrooms are very nice. Whole house was sparkling clean. They are generous with towels, blankets, and pillows, and even the toilet paper was the good soft stuff. The grill worked great, it's hooked up to gas line, so no worries about propane running out. Plenty of indoor games, outdoor furniture, outdoor games, and water toys. The yard is incredible, the dock is great, the water was fantastic. The lake never seems to get all that crowded, even on weekends. You can walk to the Big Lake Grocery, and the Big Lake Bar and Grill is minutes away. Mt. Vernon is a short drive. Owner was very nice and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

The Sanders house was perfect for our family getaway. The rooms and living spaces were comfortable and made us feel at home. Wonderful experiences on the lake front, with the grill and all the activities for everyone.

Perfect getaway for family or couple

Had family visit and worked half of the time we were there. Internet was great. The lake was wonderful. We could swim, wonderful backyard toys and patio furniture. Loved the fire pit and the extra room let us find our own private space or hang out with each other. We kayaked everyday and enjoyed sunsets and barbecues. The owner was so great and accessible. Even used the board games in the house. Well stocked and so clean! The house was perfect for us.

Excellent Lakefront Stay

My family and I had an amazing time staying here. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wild life, we saw bald eagles, a family of deer, and a crane all from the back yard. The layout of the house is spacious and comfortable; the rooms are big and there are two common space areas to hang out in. The decor and furnishings are really nice and the house is well equipped with everything you need to relax and have fun, from beach towels, outside games, 2 kayaks, plenty of floaties, Weber BBQ, firepit, etc. The kitchen is roomy and well supplied plus there is a bar with a full size refrigerator downstairs. Jim, the owner, communicated effectively and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend this house for your family vacation.

Well-stocked, great layout, beautiful views

Been coming to Big Lake every summer since 2008 with the family and this is the third house we have stayed in (previous were either sold or moved into). We decided this is our favorite so far. The house is well-stocked (e.g towels, cookware), great views, great yard games and a nice flat yard to play them on. Jim made sure we had what we needed and even pre-inflated floaties prior to arrival. Big Lake is our family heaven and happy to have another great place to stay and continue our summer family tradition.
