Chestnut Garden Flat

The Studio@420 is a spacious garden flat, with its own entrance. The upstairs loft is the only other guest rental in the building. You have a private entrance, patio, very large bathroom and a king-sized bed. The studio is ADA compatible. Kitchen is minimal, with hot plate, microwave, tea kettle, a French Press and a toaster oven. (Fridge, too!) There is a small sink for washing dishes. You can walk everywhere in town, from this cozy spot. Large windows allow afternoon sunlight to filter through the shades. Mt Shasta rolls up at night, but the train does pass through. Internet, TV , heat and air!

What a wonderful space. So close to everything. I was there for my son's basketball tournament and the location was perfect--close to the High School and walking distance to the town. I sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the sun.

A Peaceful Gem in Mount ShastaWe loved our stay at the Chestnut Studio! Perfectly located in the heart of downtown, close to shops, restaurants, and Sisson Meadows with stunning mountain views. The space was spacious, and welcoming, with everything we needed. Thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and orange juice made us feel cared for. We loved relaxing on the peaceful garden patio. We would love to come back!

Great Space in Great Location

We had a great stay in the Garden Flat. Great location to walk anywhere in Shasta. Unit was exactly as advertised. Easy check in and great communication with host. The bed was really soft and not to my likening, but by no means would it stop me from staying again or suggesting anyone I know from staying here.

Great place to stay. This little gem is located in part of town close to the road to drive up to Mount Shasta. Great coffee few blocks away. (Theory) Newer building with great heating and cooling. Easy communication with owner. Has anything someone would want, including well equipped kitchen. Minor complaints would be induction was not very powerful, few ants around, otherwise planning to stay here in future.

Just perfect for us

The property was very clean and neat. The snacks provided were perfect after a long drive to Shasta. I would definitely book this place again, and the communication with the host was very respectful, friendly and helpful.

Everything was easy, clean, and comfortable. Exactly what I hoped for. The only negative I can come up with is that the sink was slow to drain as mentioned in another review.

Good Studio in town.

Like the studio but can hear every step and sound from upstairs. Modern decor, but could remove 2 or 3 of the many throw rugs (I rolled them up while I was there). Not sure why they were there as the painted cement floor was attractive enough. Little pressure in the shower and bathroom sink doesn't drain well. The bed needs to be replaced (too soft and unsupportive) and the one over stuffed chair was too soft for me to sit in. I used the kitchen chairs for sitting. Kitchen sink tiny but everything else sufficient. The landlord was great and responsive. The place just needs a little modification.

Quiet Downtown Location

The unit appears to be recently renovated and it has been very tastefully done. It is well lighted and is kept very clean. It is walking distance to everything in downtown Mt Shasta. It was very quiet at night. Excellent view of Mt Shasta

Wonderful!

The space was perfect in every way. My husband and I have stayed at several places over the years, and this is our favorite now. It's conveniently located, the bathroom is big with a great shower, and the kitchenette has everything we needed. We will definitely return!

Adorable!

This studio was super cute and cozy! The heating unit works great and the extra floor heater and heated blanket were great for the winter. Our water did go out on our first full day but Jessie was super responsive and made sure it came back on as soon as possible. Overall great experience!
