The Seattle House - Guest House with a View in West Seattle.

The Seattle House is a custom-built 750 sq ft guesthouse in West Seattle. Sleeps four with a queen-sized bed on the main floor bedroom with smart TV, a queen-sized bed, a view deck in the loft area accessed via a ship's ladder, and a queen sleeper sofa on the main floor living area with a large smart TV and LED fireplace: full kitchen, laundry, and one bathroom. An outdoor patio is located west of the entrance, seating four, and features a seasonal gas fire pit. Amazing west-facing views from the main floor and the view deck. Easy access to the airport, local West Seattle attractions, and downtown Seattle.

The place was perfect! Spotless, up to date, beautiful, cozy, close to shopping. Loved it so much I stayed in and cooked and watched a movie versus going out. It was a joy to stay there! I will be back in the summer when I can enjoy the patio and upper deck! It had every single thing I needed!!!

Great place in a beautiful safe neighborhood! Loft bed was a little hard and difficult to get to for adults, but perfect for kids. Patio was great and the kitchen was very well appointed. I would say the owners we responsive but not accommodating to any special requests.

The Seattle House -Guest House was perfect for our recent 4 night stay in West Seattle. All of the details of the house were very well thought out. It was great to come back to the guest house after a full day of exploring to the comforts of this home. We loved the view from the balcony and took in a gorgeous sunset one night. The shops and restaurants of West Seattle were fun to explore. We loved the water taxi instead of driving and parking in Seattle. Thank you to Shawna for answering all of my questions and giving recommendations. Check in procedures and directions were clear and concise which made arriving at 3:15am less nerve wracking. We all highly recommend staying at The Guest House and would definitely return to West Seattle in the future

This place was the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. Every detail was SPOT ON. Beds are super comfortable. The loft is tricky to climb up, but a kid or springy adult can easily do it. The outdoor areas are perfect, and has great view of sunset colors on the mountains/water. Kitchen is perfectly outfitted, host even had top shelf instant oatmeal, coffee, and cream handy. Bathroom is beautiful, washer & dryer was so appreciated. Plenty of paper products and nice soap. Convenient location w free parking a few minutes outside city central. Loved every single thing.

My husband and I had the best stay at this cozy house! We were blown away by the attention to detail and the cleanliness of our stay. We always looked forward to coming back after our long day trips to the surrounding national parks to rest and recharge for our next adventure! Thank you to the wonderful hosts who made our 10 night stay the safest and easiest part of our trip! We cannot recommend this place enough!

Cute Quiet Neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay. The guest house had everything we needed (cozy blankets, cooking supplies, plenty of towels, etc.). The location is awesome. The bus stop is only one block away, the grocery store is nearby, and it's just a short walk to delicious restaurants. Itto's Tapas is amazing! We enjoyed visiting downtown Seattle, but were excited to return to the nice quiet house. Thank you Shawna!

Amazing place!!

We stayed at the house for about a week and it was amazing. You can see the ocean and it's close to lots of activities. The hosts were super nice and answered every question we thought of. If we come back to Seattle, this will be the first pick!

I would highly recommend staying at the Seattle House. The interior of the house was straight out of AD. The esthetics were thoughtfully curated by every detail put into the design and the decor; beautiful and cozy. It was very clean and had everything you could need for a stay. The location was perfect, close to downtown and other neighborhoods, yes there was the usual traffic but it always seemed to be going the other direction. It was actually nice to be able to escape to West Seattle from the mayhem of downtown. The mountain and ocean view were accompanied by a gorgeous sunset which you could view from the rooftop deck. Will definitely stay here again. Shawna was timely in her responsive the one time I needed to reach out to her.

The Best in Westie

Shawna and Jason‘s house was so beautiful and comfortable. It looks just like the photos and the view … gorgeous. Shawna was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

A Cozy, Stylish Gem with Thoughtful Extras!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming little home! It felt like a perfect blend of tiny home living with all the amenities and thoughtful touches you could ask for. From the heated tile floors in the bathroom to the well-stocked pantry, everything was designed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, adding to the relaxing vibe of the trip. I’ve stayed all over west Seattle as I travel here often to visit my grandchildren. This is by far the nicest place I’ve stayed. I loved it.Great location too.

Love this place

I recently enjoyed a wonderful couple of days at this cottage. From the moment I booked, the communication with the host was excellent. The property was exactly as described in the listing, and even better in person.The rental itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially love the balcony overlooking the views of West Seattle and the sound.It provided a relaxing and enjoyable space, and I felt right at home. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and we had no issues whatsoever. We would highly recommend this Vrbo rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay for a couple of days. I plan on booking again in the when I’m in town.

Absolutely perfect

This home is absolutely gorgeous. Very well built and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home immediately. The neighborhood feels safe and all in all it was the best trip we have ever had to Seattle. We have family that lives 5 minutes walking distance so I can guarantee we will stay here every time now, and will be back soon.

Darling Gem in West Seattle

This was such a beautiful little staycation love nest for a romantic weekend getaway. Loved the boho style decor and were delighted with the amenities and thoughtfulness. We arrived to soft music and the place smelled amazing. It was raining the whole weekend so we snuggled up with the plush blankets provided and enjoyed the fireplace. There are very steep stairs to an upper level which we only climbed once to see the rainy view. A younger couple would enjoy that area more haha. A short drive to West Seattle destinations. Not much within walking distance but we did brave the weather to get the best teriyaki a few blocks away (shout out to Grillbird). One of our better VRBO experiences.

Super cute, nice finishes, every thing you could want in a rental! Stair/ladder was very steep which ended up keeping our toddler off of it, which was great. Only room for improvement is the shades are all very thin and there’s no shades on the skylights so the loft stays bright throughout the night due to the street lights. Place is on a very quiet street.

Great cozy and quiet spot in West Seattle.

My wife and I stayed here for a week, and the property was very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Really appreciated having everything we needed provided for us by our hosts. We will definitely be returning and staying here if the property is available. Thanks so much!
