Newly renovated 100 year old farm house where you can enjoy Family activities like picnics, campfires, and more than 14 acres of woods for walks and hikes. Close to town for eating out or picking up comfort items. Sleeps 11 in 3 separate bedrooms with 2 baths, full kitchen, laundry room, and deck with breathtaking country view. Property sits adjacent to our other BnB with access to our animals (donkeys, cows, goats, chickens, our turkey and guineas and barn cats), our cave, the creek (which is excellent for swimming, fishing, kayaking or simply skipping rocks and watching nature drift by) and an additional 100 acres of woods for strolling or campfires. With Scottsville just a few minutes away you can conveniently jet into town to pick up grilling supplies complete with s'mores or eat our at one of our local vendors.

The place is in a nice quiet location. The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen efficient. My problem was a lady with a foreign accent and very poor English called me on the first morning we were there and told me to pack up and leave immediately. She said I had rented it for two people and there were three there. I emphatically told her in the paragraph i filled out that two of us were coming from Ohio and one was coming from Georgia. She said she hadn't read the paragraph explanation. We were there to bow hunt the opening week of KY deer season. I paid for Sunday - Friday and we only stayed Monday - Thursday. The lady was rude, uniformed and almost unitelligable. I saved the voice mail.

Restful home away from home

We love coming here because the hosts share their farm as though you lived there. Can’t recommend this place enough if you have a family that enjoys farm animals and short hikes in the woods!

Peaceful a nice escape from the city

The property was so nice and the owners were also really nice. It was nice to look up at the night sky and see the stars and when the sun came up, it was nice to hear the birds chirping.

Christmas vaca in Kentucky

Beautiful country home that made is feel like we were home. David was awesome and even brought a Christmas tree for us to enjoy the holiday. The farm animals were a great addition and we were able to bring our grandson to see them.

Peaceful Country Living!

Great location out in the rolling hills. We arrived late so only checked out the creek on the way out the next morning, wow! Space to pull the Jeep onto the gravel and chill! Home was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 5. We would stay here again at David’s place!

Quiet country living

We stayed for ls fest and we really enjoyed our stay! Much better than staying at a hotel or even inside the city. Clean and comfortable house with all we needed for a few days.

The family and I had an excellent time. It is very peaceful place to stay while also close to Bowling Green and Mammoth Cave National Park.

Great Country Getaway

A great place to get away from it all. The 100 yr old farmhouse had plenty of space and all things needed to relax and enjoy family. The hosts were incredible as they invited us to participate in feeding and milking the goats and egg fetching. The fire every evening was the cherry on top trying to catch lightning bugs.

Farm house

I think people need to ahead there's no TV or internet! I rent a lot and this is the 1st place I have ever rented without a TV. Or radio or landline??? Maybe fine in the summer,spring,fall but when it's cold not much else to do. I would not have rented it. Second time I was screwed by VRBO.No more. The place by VRBO no washer and dry?? These are things that are normal in a rental so people don't think to ask. Should be on the listing. The pans were totally gross! I couldn't even get clean to use !!! borrowed some from son so we could cook. No dishwasher either, not everyone washes dishes good. Husband is a heat and air guy said the filters were gross haven't been changed in a while.

Nana turns 90 Bday celebration.

Our Family came in to celebrate Nana birthday. The house is convenient and perfect for our extended family. Plenty of room and well stocked kitchen to prepare food for party. Owners are so kind and responsive. We had couple inches of snow and owner came to check on us and offer to help us if necessary. Definitely will be back when visiting family.

Weekend family Christmas

Had a late Christmas with wife and kids after working all of December. The house was a perfect fit for what I wanted we were able to play games together and unplug (within reason) from the digital world for a few days. The farm was large with goats chickens kitties cows a donkey and a dog. There’s plenty to do outside to avert boredom. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return in warmer months
