This wonderfully old and tastefully renovated small mill features a warm charm combined with many inviting modern amenities including EV Level 2 charging. Three levels with bedrooms and baths on each level, comfortable furnishings, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, "the mill" is well equipped for your getaway enjoyment. A picnic table and gas grill are provided to make that outdoor get together special. The house sits on 2 plus acre grounds alongside a year round stream just 2 miles from the Village of Shelburne Falls. Buckland Recreation Area with free playground and new outdoor swimming pool (pool fee) is just across the way. This centralized home base lets visitors enjoy the Western Massachusetts area and Interstate 91 is a handy10 miles away. Sight see the many area attractions or simply relax with family and friends. The brook side screened in porch is a unique feature to be enjoyed many months of the year. For the more adventurous, there is ample hiking, biking, rafting/kayaking , zip lines, skiing/boarding. Whether you are staying for a couple of nights, a week or more, you will find this a comfortable 210 year old repurposed property a nice home away from home to enjoy the "Berkshires". A perfect choice for parents visiting family members at one of the many education centers.

Such a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Home was clean and welcoming. I can appreciate the abundance of blankets. Coffee well stocked, beds were comfy and warm for the cold nights. Would gladly stay here again as it’s the perfect escape from city life

Really enjoyed our family stay. Very quaint cottage. Love the stream behind the cottage. Wanted to let the owners know that the backside door was unlocked and an inch ajar.

We absolutely love this house. It was perfect for our family. From the moment we walked in we were very impressed. Everything was extremely organized and clean. They definitely thought of everything you would need! Completely updated kitchen, fully stocked with high quality items. I always bring extra things, but there was nothing that I needed. They had everything! There was anything you would need for a baby love that there was as built-in gates for the steps. Great open concept kitchen, where we all could congregate. Very nice to have the screened in porch downstairs next to the Brooke, listening to the water was very relaxing. One of the kids even slept out there with an air mattresses. There is not A/C in the basement room but that wasn’t a problem, even though it was 90 degrees outside the kitchen A/C seems to keep it cool down there. The beds were very comfortable. If you are light sensitive bring an eye mask it does get very bright in the morning in the 2 upper bedrooms. There is a nice playground and pool across the street. The pool does have a fee to use. Love that there was very clear instructions everywhere most things you would need to know they have listed. All in all we had a great stay definitely will go back.

Check-in process is flawless, all facilities were well stocked, property was clean, comfortable with more than adequate cooling. Wi-Fi access worked wonderfully! I did not want for anything.

So worth it.

We had a great time with all the outdoor activities but also having that feeling of knowing you’re coming back to a clean and beautiful, new-like “home” to clean up/ freshen up and relax and recharge and keep going. Loved the brook and its sounds right next to the property, loved opening those windows to hear it. It’s a 10 for me.

Beautiful home and nice location

We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation in Northampton, which is an easy 35 minute drive. The mill is well provisioned and the host is highly responsive and courteous. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Lovely well appointed home

We just spent Friday and Saturday at this lovely renovated old Mill. There were 5 of us adults over 70. The accommodations were perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It would be an easy place to stay a week. Probably the best equipped home I’ve ever stayed in. There is a lovely enclosed porch next to a babbling creek. The yard is spacious. We ultimately realized that the pool that is mentioned is not on property but across the road at a recreation center. Amanda and Timothy were very responsive.

Weekend Family Visit

We enjoyed the charm and beauty of the view from the Mill /House windows and the property was spacious. Beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep and the showers were hot enough with good water pressure. I had to cook food for a Passover Seder and was so pleased the kitchen was well stocked with Cuisinart stainless cookware and excellent knives. When I texted the owner for more instructions on how to leave the house for exit , we had a pleasant conversation . She responded immediately.

Loved this place!

Highly recommend this charming, historic place.  Well appointed. Has everything you need for your stay.  Cozy…yet plenty of space for everyone.  Looks like it was just renovated.  Took my daughter and two granddaughters for a ski weekend.  Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.

Another wonderful stay!!

We love this home, this was our 4th time staying here. The layout is very good, bathrooms for each bedroom, the kitchen has everything we need, it is very clean, communication with the host is very good and we greatly enjoy the location, so much to do in all directions. This is the second time there has been snow when were there and someone has always come to shovel, very nice! We highly recommend this property!

Fabulous home!!

This is our 3rd time staying here, we love this historic home, it is in very good condition. The home is very clean, well stocked, the layout is very good and the communication with the host is also very good. We love the brook going by. It is close to Smith College where our daughter goes to school. We also enjoy the many other places and things to do in this area. Even after our daughter graduates I can see us coming back to this home and part of Massachusetts.

Great place

I agree with all the other comments about what a wonderful place this was to enjoy a few days in the Berkshires. Everyone had their own space and plenty of room. The home is well stocked and very clean. Great location close to Shelburne falls. Thanks for accommodating our extra night at the last minute!
